Where's Rusty? Man Dies From Too Much Porn

We tried to warn him.

The 50-year-old man's rotting corpse was discovered by his landlord, who entered his apartment to find out why the rent had not been paid for the past six months. The man, identified only by the name Joli, was found dead under a huge pile of X-rated magazines. (See pictures here.)

[...]

The cleaner speculated that the man may have died from a heart attack and fallen into the stack of magazines, which then fell on top of him. He said that if he was still conscious when the magazines fell on him, they would have muffled his cries. The man's body was so rotted when the cleaners finally dug him out that fluid had seeped across the floor and soaked into newspapers that were lying around. His eyes had also popped out, the cleaner reported.

5 Reminds me of a case (in germany) 10 years ago (?) where a single guy (of similar age) died (heart attack apparently) while watching his tv and they didnt find him for well over a month - the tv had been on and the tube had burned out. Was commented as being welfare state kinda thing - didnt even check on him when he was missed for rent several times.

Where exactly is it that they dont even try to collect the rent for 6 months ???

Ages old case (1950s?) of the Timken heirs being recluses who were hoarders (actually tunnelling through stacks of newspapers inside their mansion-like residence) and one had the stuff collapse on him and killed him and the other dying of a heart attack immediately after.
The police couldnt even get in the door so much stuff filled the house (many many tons)
