Otis Tyrone McKane Arrested in Murder of Detective Benjamin Marconi

The suspect is in custody.

San Antonio police announced Monday that an arrest has been made in the slaying of police Det. Benjamin Marconi.
Otis Tyrone McCain, 31, of San Antonio was arrested about 4:30 p.m. McCain was seen in surveillance video outside and inside police headquarters the morning of the shooting, police Chief William McManus said.

At the time of the arrest, McCain was in a vehicle with an adult woman who was driving and a 2-year-old passenger. SWAT arrested him without incident at FM Road 1516 and Interstate 10, he said.
