1 It's a shame that the officer who questioned him before the attack didn't notice that his ice cream truck was obviously not a refrigerated truck.

Vive la France.

2 But he wasn't a REAL, Mooslim, right? Just some poor deranged, downtrodden, confused, Lone Wolf....did I get that right, Mr President?

3 And yet two hours after it was not confirmed the reason for the attack nor the name, religious affiliation nor ethnic background of the deceased killer.

5 The U.S. government will probably classify this as a "road rage" incident.

9 I see you corrected. Still, why you would use "kill" and not "murder", and why "news" outlets do the same... Let me explain my problem. Perhaps you are ignorant. Literally, not a bash. All have been there, all remain, in one way or a dozen. Still...

Kill is a term reserved for when the state or church sanctions a killing, based on morality, rules, ethics, and such. Assuming it is a legitimate state/church and assuming other options have been tried and failed, or the war is just. Always a bit dubious, but going without seems to do more harm than not.

Murder is when a life is taken without regard to rules of law or religion. Proper religion, proper safeguards, etc.

If islamic murder is ever called a killing or killings, it means the author, willfully and knowingly or not is submitting that muslims may murder/kill as per their religion. It is sanctioning the deaths as religious/state (no difference in islam).

If I see you repeat that islamists have killed someone, I will assume that, now that you understand, that you have chosen to sanction that murder as a killing. This half and half won't work either. Slippery slope and all. Just call it murder and go with a slippery nipple, either the drink or real thing. *wink*

10 Calm down everyone.
The New York Times has explained to me that this
man was distraught about losing his job and about
his impending divorce.
There is no izzlamic jeehad happening here.
Move along.

11 Remember what Bastille day signifies?

One can hope that it is the start (finally) of the destruction of islam in the West.

Start with new laws that say : that ANYONE who preaches/proposes Jihad or imposing Sharia law is talking Sedition and/or Treason and is subject to immediate imprisonnment seizure of all their property and deportation if non-citizens -- AND those who assist in resisting this requirement are subject to the same. All illegal immigrants would have to report immediately to be identified and tracked or face the same.

12 Add : Any mosque or association where preaching/proposing Jihad or of imposing sharia law is done OR EVIDENCE IN THE PAST PROVES, is forfeit in all its property and assets which is subject to immediate seizure.

Any religion that advocates murdering/harming/threatening people to get its way is incompatible with civilization and is NOT to be tolerated and shpould be stamped out.

13 The Franks, in what later became France, were a big contingent of the Crusader armies that stormed the holy lands.

Those times are coming again
