Sandcrawler PSA: Columbus Wasn't English

You'll note today that a lot of folks don't like the man who proved to the civilized world that the American Continent exists and lived to tell about it.

Especially on Twitter.

There are also creative insults to the 15th's century's Neil Armstrong.

Because I'm sure one of these days some liberal tard will find a way to blame the moon landings on Anglo-American, mono-cultural viewpoints.

You'll note that the images above also describe Columbus and he is often depicted as Anglo or English although he sailed for Spain and was Italian.

Remember Spain? The other Imperialist?

Today's hatred of Columbus is centered around white hate and by that I mean hatred of whites or Anglos, some of it liberal self hatred some not. . But when you mention Spanish imperialism your liberal friends get upset because the focus of the Kracker Haters is on English Imperialism.

So we want to host a white guilt free Columbus day, because when the English arrived the Spanish had pretty much cleared the place out for us save for a few stragglers.

I also carry some of those stragglers blood, and given that we have all this cool civilized stuff I'm thankful for Columbus and for the Europeans and for the Native Americans and immigrants that made something better.

Because in the end we all got a new start and together created the New World we are all blessed to live in now.

For those of you still stuck in the Old World, sucks to be you.

1 I guess this means Thanksgiving with the relatives is really going to be fun this year!

2 Greetings:

My advice to various types of leftopaths is to read T.R. Fehrenbach's "Comanches: The History of a People". It was written back in the early 1970s so this type of whackiness hadn't yet taken hold so completely.

But I do feel a little bit bad about the Aztecs not getting more credit for having discovered open-heart surgery.

3 There is some circumstantial evidence that Columbus may have been a Jew, further justifying the left's hatred...

URL is to Puffington Host, so, well, you know.

4 AH, let's imagine a world where Europeans never crossed into the "western" hemisphere... and there was no USA... the knee-jerk of the leftardjerks is of course "HURRAY! The world would be better!"... so where would these "chicano students" be and what would they be doing today if there was no "white man" in this side of the world? Yeah... think about it...

5 It was cool to be an Aztec and Cortez was a Killer if you were one of the privileged gentry sitting in the box seats on Saturday Night in Tenochtitlan.
If you were a neighboring tribe member...You thought Cortez was the best thing to come along EVAH!!!!
What sucks more than European Civilization is having the males in your family kidnapped by those fucking Aztecs who cut them open and pulled their hearts out in the big show. Decade after Decade. Century after Century.
Na Neil Young...It was Montezuma The Killer.

6 Actually Jim the left likes Jews. That is why 27 of the 28 Jews elected to the 115th Congress are NOT from the GOP.
As far as the English, I am Irish and predisposed to dislike them
In 10 years 1641 to 1651 the population of ireland fell by 1/2. The men killed and the women and children sold as slaves "white cargo" to the West Indies between 1650 and 1660 100000 Irish children alone were sold as slaves,
In 1681 the english passed alaw forbidding the breeding of black slaves and Irish women.

This too should be taught as Western Civilization

7 and why are those liberal states changing the name from Columbus day to things like Native American day or American indian Heritage day ?

Posted by: righter at October 12, 2015 01:59 PM

8 whoops!!! my bad
those states are Alabama and South Dakota.
well I still blame OBAMA!!!

Posted by: righter at October 12, 2015 01:59 PM

9 As part cherokee native american who's relatives died on the trail of tears holocaust even though the supreme court told the racist jackson to stop murdering native americans I can see why colombus day is not a favorite for native americans. And the white eyes have fought indian gaming on the grounds that land the war hoops were put on was supposed to be worthless!

Posted by: captain*arizona at October 12, 2015 02:37 PM

10 Why don't we just address the truth of all this BS. Columbus was a White man.

Posted by: Greyrooster at October 12, 2015 02:58 PM

11 Cactus pants: Your hero Abraham Lincoln was the most notorious Indian hater in history. He sentenced hundreds to death for slight crimes. Check it out. To those who hadn't even invented the wheel or iron. Tough shit. You should have evolved quicker when you came from Asia. If the hated White man hadn't arrived you still be using sticks instead of steel and walking instead of riding. GIVE US OUR DUE. Every time you put on your White man's glasses to watch the White devil television you should be thanking the white man that you didn't just have to take a dump in the woods. After you wiped your ass with grass where did you wash your hands?

12 Captain Arizona,

So many of us carry that blood.

So we were not all removed. Either living as white or marrying white or having whites cover or claim is as their own.

But without Columbus there goes half our heritage as well.

Its silly to hold a grudge still over such things, especially for those of us who chose or managed to integrate rather than go west.

13 I stand, shoulder-to-shoulder, with my good friend captain*arizona against evil white devils, with righter against america-loving republican pigs, and with grayrooster against these verminous Jews! Let us go to victory against these dogs, my brothers!

14 11B40: I've had that book in my library since the early 80's.

Jim: Somehow I knew that the claim of Columbus was a Jew would come out someday. Like they invented cellphones, computers and electricity. May as well throw in Ice Cream.

17 Iceland was made from my people (Vikings) and the pretty Irish girls they kidnapped during raids on Ireland. Damn good looking people.

Posted by: Greyrooster at October 12, 2015 11:23 PM

18 Iceland has about 1200 muzzlums living in Reykjavik.
Enough to start their usual rape-based genetic invasion,
or to make a big pile of skulls. Whichever.

(Incidentally, daylight hours during Ramadan are 21 hours
in Iceland, so the muzzlemen have only three hours to eat.
That should slow them down a bit.)

Meanwhile, quit blaming Columbus for Phillip 2's management
issues. If the amer-inds had anything worth stealing besides
painted sticks and rocks Chris would not have needed to drag
back a few token slaves to impress the investors.
That was the LAST time he bothered to invade a stoneage
land, which is why Columbus did not invade Hawaii.
(And yes, i called genocide a management issue. Ha ha.)

19 "Columbus wasn't English"

1) Neither was Cortez

2) If the libs actually studied history (or even watched "The Green Inferno" or "Apocalypto"), they'd realize the whole "Noble Savage" or "primitivism" concept is nonsense, because man is not inherently good, but evil.

23 Us White devils kick ass.

Posted by: Greyrooster at October 13, 2015 11:42 AM

24 @GreyRooster

Simply was quoting the title.

Just an aside, I find it funny that Mexico and some other Latin America countries have a much stricter caste system than the US does (with European-born / European blood at the top, and the indigenous towards the bottom), but the media never reports on that.

Guess that would ruin the narrative.

Posted by: shadowofashade at October 13, 2015 02:45 PM

25 American Indians took slaves centuries before the white man came. They also slaughtered other Indians and took their lands.
Why isn't that ever mentioned? In fact what is called American Indians invaded the Americas from Asia. I like Indians and a very important one is a personal friend. But bullshit is bullshit.

Posted by: Greyrooster at October 13, 2015 05:12 PM

26 I also prefer that my 72 long legged blondes not be virgins. I hate it when they ask "will you still respect me in the morning"?
I always tell them it depends on how well you do tonight.

Posted by: Greyrooster at October 14, 2015 11:14 AM

27 Columbus was the biggest screw up to be given a day and place in history.
I mean the odd fellow was half right, he sailed looking for India and found some Islands off the coast of the America's.
You might say Columbus sailed into history then again you could say Columbus just went for a sea cruise and tripped then fell right on in.
Either way, Northmen actually found America, and folks who lived around the arctic had found America long before anyone, so if America belongs to anyone it belongs to the Eskimo's, can I say Eskimo without censure?

28 Heres an even better bit to blow the Libtard/PC moronoids minds and start them babbling even more --- Columbus wished that the wealth that might be gotten from the new lands might go to pay for a NEW Crusade to win back the Holy Lands from the Moslems. That black outfit he is usually depicted as wearing is actually a monks garb (his writings show him to be very religious).

Columbus was actually REMOVED from his governoship position by the Spaniards (Hildalgos) HE took to the new lands - because he tried to stop their predations upon the indigenous indian populations.

The Spanish Crown retained him as an explorer (he made 4 voyages total), although they stiffed him for the reward he was supposed to get in the original contract he made before he left on the first -- to get 1/10th of all the wealth obtained. He died on the way to see the King about his proper reward (though after many lawsuits his grandchildren got a Dukedom in Spain as recompence and his descendants to this day still retain his title of 'Admiral of the Ocean Sea').

29 Columbus was one of history's best dead reckoning navigators (no longitude at that time, and he sailed far enough west for the compass to start deviating from the polestar). On one of his subsequent voyages he did touch on the South American mainland.

His first voyage was made with 3 old obsolete ships (limited budget), but the second he took a fleet with over 1000 Spaniards to the new world.
