Sandcrawler PSA: Columbus Wasn't English

My advice to various types of leftopaths is to read T.R. Fehrenbach's "Comanches: The History of a People". It was written back in the early 1970s so this type of whackiness hadn't yet taken hold so completely.
But I do feel a little bit bad about the Aztecs not getting more credit for having discovered open-heart surgery.

If you were a neighboring tribe member...You thought Cortez was the best thing to come along EVAH!!!!
What sucks more than European Civilization is having the males in your family kidnapped by those fucking Aztecs who cut them open and pulled their hearts out in the big show. Decade after Decade. Century after Century.
Na Neil Young...It was Montezuma The Killer.

As far as the English, I am Irish and predisposed to dislike them
In 10 years 1641 to 1651 the population of ireland fell by 1/2. The men killed and the women and children sold as slaves "white cargo" to the West Indies between 1650 and 1660 100000 Irish children alone were sold as slaves,
In 1681 the english passed alaw forbidding the breeding of black slaves and Irish women.
This too should be taught as Western Civilization

So many of us carry that blood.
So we were not all removed. Either living as white or marrying white or having whites cover or claim is as their own.
But without Columbus there goes half our heritage as well.
Its silly to hold a grudge still over such things, especially for those of us who chose or managed to integrate rather than go west.

Jim: Somehow I knew that the claim of Columbus was a Jew would come out someday. Like they invented cellphones, computers and electricity. May as well throw in Ice Cream.

Enough to start their usual rape-based genetic invasion,
or to make a big pile of skulls. Whichever.
(Incidentally, daylight hours during Ramadan are 21 hours
in Iceland, so the muzzlemen have only three hours to eat.
That should slow them down a bit.)
Meanwhile, quit blaming Columbus for Phillip 2's management
issues. If the amer-inds had anything worth stealing besides
painted sticks and rocks Chris would not have needed to drag
back a few token slaves to impress the investors.
That was the LAST time he bothered to invade a stoneage
land, which is why Columbus did not invade Hawaii.
(And yes, i called genocide a management issue. Ha ha.)

1) Neither was Cortez
2) If the libs actually studied history (or even watched "The Green Inferno" or "Apocalypto"), they'd realize the whole "Noble Savage" or "primitivism" concept is nonsense, because man is not inherently good, but evil.

Simply was quoting the title.
Just an aside, I find it funny that Mexico and some other Latin America countries have a much stricter caste system than the US does (with European-born / European blood at the top, and the indigenous towards the bottom), but the media never reports on that.
Guess that would ruin the narrative.
Posted by: shadowofashade at October 13, 2015 02:45 PM
Why isn't that ever mentioned? In fact what is called American Indians invaded the Americas from Asia. I like Indians and a very important one is a personal friend. But bullshit is bullshit.

I mean the odd fellow was half right, he sailed looking for India and found some Islands off the coast of the America's.
You might say Columbus sailed into history then again you could say Columbus just went for a sea cruise and tripped then fell right on in.
Either way, Northmen actually found America, and folks who lived around the arctic had found America long before anyone, so if America belongs to anyone it belongs to the Eskimo's, can I say Eskimo without censure?

Columbus was actually REMOVED from his governoship position by the Spaniards (Hildalgos) HE took to the new lands - because he tried to stop their predations upon the indigenous indian populations.
The Spanish Crown retained him as an explorer (he made 4 voyages total), although they stiffed him for the reward he was supposed to get in the original contract he made before he left on the first -- to get 1/10th of all the wealth obtained. He died on the way to see the King about his proper reward (though after many lawsuits his grandchildren got a Dukedom in Spain as recompence and his descendants to this day still retain his title of 'Admiral of the Ocean Sea').

His first voyage was made with 3 old obsolete ships (limited budget), but the second he took a fleet with over 1000 Spaniards to the new world.
