If this is the recent one from W. Virginia, there should be more!

The pharmacist should consider a larger caliber. The perp should have been down and out on the 1st shot.

larry I believe the caliber was .45. Unlike in the movies, people, even when mortally wounded, don't immediately drop to the floor, unless shot in the head. And even then, they don't always immediately drop.
Phil-- more what?

Good Morning. Justice served. Next!

A pharmacy near us was robbed several times over the last year or so.

It would be wise for most pharmacists to get a handgun and practice with it at a range regularly. The people who rob them are probably not in a state of mind where they can be reasoned with.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I have no idea how I would react in those circumstances, I have no experience like it and in no way am I criticizing the gentleman (here we go) but - damn'd if he didn't fire that shot danger close to his colleagues head just to his right and unless the camera angle is bad, in front of the muzzle. Whew!!!

I'm struck by the coolness with which the pharmacy guys dispatched with this POS. Nice work, indeed.

Good Gun Control.

Looks like the bad guy's gun never fired which was lucky for the pharmacist because he would definitely have taken a bullet.

Second shot hit the robber's gun and ruined it; he still pointed the gun at the pharmacist 'cause neither of them realized it was scrapped. Good shooting; pharma man should quit feeling guilty about it.

That was quick the way that he drew his gun and responded to the threat. It was in my view well done.... and about time pharmacists try to protect themselves.

Aussie: agreed, he appears to have been on high alert when the guy came in with his face covered, and drew fast!

Jrr: Well, it was a better result than the perp's gun going off in his colleagues face, which seemed a highly likely event in the immediate future.

A lot of people in the way when the guns come out, and yes someone could have gotten hit in the crossfire. Have discussed this with my friends who are licensed to carry concealed and told them, should we be accosted by an armed robber, to take the shot while i take my chances. Take the gun, leave the canolis. I will distract the bad guy by wetting myself and screaming like a little girl but take the damn shot.

Who are you gonna blame, losers?
