1118 Freshly Dead Jihadists

We've waxed a lot of Jihadis since we began to act against AQ and ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

ISIS and al-Nusra lost 1118 fighters by direct US action, that's not counting the IS killed by the Kurds or Iraq or by the Syrian Regime or in conflicts between Sunni rebel groups. That's a pretty high rate of attrition when you add all those up.

Unfortunately there is a pretty deep bench of retards waiting in line.

Anyway the Syrian Observatory is hardly pro US but lists only 52 casualties who were collateral damage.

That's about a 4.406% collateral damage rate. Pretty good rate considering all the whining IS does about civilians.

1 WOW !!! 1000 sure is a big number
But that is the total number over like the last 100 days which works out to only 10 a day which is far less than they are recruiting on a daily basis
Now the Pentagon says that the cost so far for our airstrikes is well over 1 billion or 1,000,000,000 which means that it is costing over 1 million dollars per kill
It might be cheaper just to give them 10000$ refillable debit cards and tell them to vote GOP and move to Abu Dhabi like all the rest who suck on my tax dollars
Also the civilian death total is about 1 month old as this figure was reported as far back as 11/24 and our rate of air missions has increased since then
Well time to return to my tree worship devotion/solstice celebration

2 Yeah but I'm sure you're aware John that these are just the numbers from the airstrikes, which would only include numbers targeted in a direct strike against say an artillery or an HQ. The intent is not so much to kill, but to destroy the intended target.

Now I'd be for a more efficient and cost effective method, say nuke the five biggest cities under their control, saves us the cost of dismantling the old nuke and get s great cost per kill ratio and destroys the target all at once.

But then you'll be over here bitching about ruining the collateral civilian percentage and pointing at the civilian ash falling from the sky, wouldn't you?
