A Tale of Two British Twitter Accounts
So, let's start with the good news first. A woman so enamored by ISIS, that she has to share her love for the mass-murderers online. Now, she's on cornhole watch:
A 22-year-old woman was last night charged with encouraging terrorism on Twitter. Alaa Abdullah Esayed, from Kennington, south London, used the social network to post messages that would 'induce' others to 'commit acts of terrorism', the Metropolitan Police said. She is also accused of using the site to share photographs, videos and links to terrorist speeches and propaganda.Very nice. Now, another twitter account. This one belonging to a guy who was already indicted in the UK for inciting terrorism, but released on bail. He jumped bail and is now fighting in Syria:
A terror suspect who skipped bail has apparently used Twitter to taunt the “shoddy” British security services, saying he was able to “breeze through Europe” to join Islamic State (Isis) despite being under investigation. Siddhartha Dhar, 31 – known as Abu Rumaysah on social media – apparently boasted in a series of tweets that he evaded the intelligence agencies and travelled to war-torn Syria. It's almost like would-be terrorists released on bail have an incentive to flee the country. Who could have predicted that?
