This Isn't The Muslim Who Beheaded His Co-Worker After Getting Fired For Pressuring Them To Revert to Islam That We're Looking For

Nine out of ten stories on this don't mention that Alton Nolen was a recent revert to Islam, nor that he was proselytizing to the women at work.

But KFOR does:

MOORE, Okla. Ė Officials with the Moore Police Department say the FBI is now involved in the investigation related to a brutal attack of workers at a food distribution plant.

Sgt. Jeremy Lewis says the alleged suspect, 30-year-old Alton Nolen had just been fired when he drove to the front of the business, hit a vehicle and walked inside.

He walked into the front office area where he met 54-year-old Colleen Hufford and began attacking her with a knife.

Sgt. Lewis confirms the type of knife used in the attack is the same kind used at the plant.

Lewis confirms that Hufford was stabbed several times and that Nolen ďsevered her head.Ē

At that point, Lewis claims Nolen met 43-year-old Traci Johnson and began attacking her with the same knife.

The FBI has been called in but they say it appears there is no link to any organized terrorist group at this time.

Its possible employees complained about being pressured to convert at work which led to his firing. At which point he took revenge.

The FBI is now looking into Nolenís background after his former co-workers said he tried to convert them to Islam after recently converting himself.

Lewis says the FBI is working in conjunction with the Moore Police Department, especially when it comes to the religious aspect of the case.

Move along, move along.

Update:

He seems to be an odd sort, combining Islam and the more apocalyptic versus from the New Testament.

beheader1.png

He is convinced these are the end times.

beheader2.png

And also women are evil. Sent to tempt and test men.

beheader3.png

So the guy has problems other than Islam, but a bit mental and spontaneous Jihad are not mutually exclusive categories.

beheader4.png

So there is not a lot of indication of overt Jihadism other than his cover banner of the Taliban. But he does share the America and Israel are evil and are attacking innocent Muslims in Syria, those innocent Muslims would be ISIS and al-Nusra.

So IMO this was not planned, he is not an overt Jihadi, nor does he seem connected to any overt Jihadis. But seems influenced by some Islamic and leftist thought on the evils of the Jews. America bad, Israel bad, ISIS my brothers in Islam.

And then there is this most ironic post.

Update II: Adding to the evidence that Mr. Nolan had a particular thing against women. See Facebook screenshot above and...

Local newspaper McCurtain Gazette reports (no online edition is available):

A classmate of Nolenís, who didnít wish to be identified, told this newspaper that he spoke to a close family member of Nolenís today.

He told this newspaper that according to the family member, Nolen was telling coworkers Thursday of an Islamic teaching that said women should be stoned for an offense, and that an argument followed the mark, Nolen was later fired and returned later Thursday, when he beheaded Colleen Hufford, the family member said.

Looking again he also seems to really like Caps Lock. Always a sign that someone is um, yeah.

Update: Creeping Sharia has found a couple of posts on Nolan's Facebook that are more overtly pro-Jihadist. But not supporting a specific group.

1 Rules:
1. When you fire someone, have a police prescence.
2. IF that fired employee shows up lock the doors and call the Cops.
3. IF the fired employee hits a car outside before coming in, get a gun, lock the door and call the cops.
4. IF the fired employee attacks, kills and beheads someone in the office with a knife, get all the men together and with improvosed weapons be prepared to get him.
5. IF the now obviously murderous disgruntled employee attacks another person in the office, rush him and get him.
6. Call the coroner.
Seriously? If a fired employee shows up, lock the door and call police ASAP. NO, don't talk to him, don't deal with him and don't let him enter.

2 I bet the distribution center will get sued for Islamophobia.

3 He a prison convert? He is only following their rules: convert or die.

4 He didn't need to be associated with a terrorist organization. He had islam. I call this sudden jihad syndrome. It can happen with any muslim if his wire is tripped. Could somebody tell me what benefits we hoped to get by letting muslims into America? And we already had enough Christian Greeks to keep us endlessly supplied with kebobs so the answer doesn't lie there.

5 I hate the term Revert. Can we all agree not to use the term "revert"? They are converts.

Using "revert" is a tacit acceptance of the Islamic concept that everyone is born with an inherent, "pure Muslim" faith, that is later corrupted by other religion.
As a non-Muslim, I think that is bullshit.

In the same vein, let's not use the phrase "the Prophet Muhammad" to appease Muslims.
Muhammad was a brutal 7th century warlord and paedophile, not my prophet.
Muhammad is a "prophet" in the same vein as Joseph Kony, but 10x worse.

6 So now the question that should be asked is...what influenced him to this violent act? Isn't the left ALWAYS trying to point the finger at someone they hate that could be tied, no matter how tenuously, to a murderer....like trying to put Palin and Rush in with Gabby Gifford's shooter? So are we going to investigate this Oklahoma city Mosque and see if they are radicalizing converts? Shouldn't we be questioning Brother Abdullah (I bet we don't). I bet we don't check out his 'brothers from Morocco either or look closely at whoever got to him in prison. All the things that our officials WOULD be doing if a Tea Partier or such had done this....

7 I just listened to CNN three stooges dancing around calling this everything BUT an Islamic attack on people who would not submit, to Allah.
They blamed....wait of it........."A VIDEO HE SAW OF A BEHEADING IN SYRIA" Got that? It was a video he saw that set him off into a work place rage and work related beheading, not Islam.
I don't hear anyone calling on more stricter and comprehensive knife bans though!

8 I just want to clear up a point I made in the post.

I was a bit short on time so I just reviewed the facebook some, saved the lists stuff like that.

Anyway although I said no overt Jihad, no black flags and stuff like that he does have a sizable friends list.

It would be difficult I would think to have a group that large and not have at least some contact with radicals, its likely.

So while he's only got one overt image of the Taliban the rest seems tame by internet standards, there could be more going on behind he scenes.

I still think yeah, sudden Jihad Syndrome of a sort.

Islamic radicals don't just affect Islam. Lets not forget there is a Mexican drug lord who they call el_Taliban who is probably a Catholic who beheads a lot of people. That fad started after the invasion of Iraq and the beheading craze in Iraq around 2004 and 5.

9 obsidian<<< Yeah I would think those videos do influence a lot of people to do similar things. Also he worked in a slaughter plant.

So things start adding up.

Nidal Hasan comes to mind, His page didn't "seem overtly radical" at first glance either, later we find he was looking at and possibly talking to al-Awlaki.

So its Islamic just not the typical overtly outspoken Jihadist
