Kurds Flee ISIS in Northern Syria

I'm so pissed, for one Turkey refuses to fight ISIS nor allow NATO parters to use its airbases to fight ISIS. Also ISIS on the move should be perfect time to hit them.

Yet nothing was done and ISIS is now butchering the Kurds in Northern Syria.

Several thousand Syrian Kurds began crossing into Turkey on Friday fleeing Islamic State fighters who advanced into their villages, prompting warnings of massacres from Kurdish leaders.

Islamic State (IS) fighters have seized villages in northern Syria over the past two days and are besieging the mainly Kurdish town of Ayn al-Arab, known as Kobani in Kurdish, on the Turkish border.

Their advance comes as the United States draws up plans for military action in Syria against the Sunni Muslim extremist group which has seized swathes of territory in Syria and Iraq and seeks to set up an Islamic caliphate in the heart of the Middle East.

Turkey is already sheltering more than 1.3 million Syrian refugees and fears hundreds of thousands more, waiting in the mountains on the Syrian side of the 900-km (560-mile) border, could seek to cross as fighting escalates.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks developments in the civil war, said on Friday IS had seized three more villages near Kobani, bringing to 24 the number it had taken.

The Kurds are good fighters, but if they were that good, then they wouldn't have been oppressed and screwed over by every single one of their neighbors, Arabs, Turks Iran.

Helping the Kurds is good. They deserve it and are very brave. But I fear depending on the Kurds alone to face ISIS on the ground is an expectation they cannot bear.

Fuahhh...

Turkey should be booted from NATO.

Update as ISIS massacres the Kurds, its Turkey that provides safe haven and medical treatment to ISIS' wounded.

A nurse in Turkey told authorities she is tired of treating members from the Islamic State. The nurse, only known as E.G., works in a hospital in Mersin, which is on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and across the ocean from Syria.

“We treat them, and they go on to decapitate people,” she said. “I am sick of treating wounded ISIL militants.”

4 whatever happens from here on out its our responsibility and duty to make sure that THIS becomes obamas legacy- not obamacare, not the irs scandal, not the border, or anything else-these all fail in comparison...no, his legacy is thousands and thousands were brutally slaughtered by some of the most evil people to ever walk the earth-people that he was warned about continuously for months and months-all because obama wanted to keep a campaign promise before the midterm elections in his second term-this is way worse than what clinton allowed to happen in africa-we never had any troops in africa to pull out to jumpstart a genocide-but obama did...all he had to do is leave our troops in iraq and most if not all this never, ever would have happened

5 I wish the international community stop treating Iraq and Syria as different entities when challenging ISIS. For God's sake, stop ISIS whatever territory they are taking over in Iraq or Syria. Blow these islamic terrorist in pieces with cruise missiles not only in Iraq but in Syria.
