1 Can't stop laughing. You know Israel uses skunk juice or "water" to spray rioters ...

2 I wonder who has balls enough to get close enough to rescue it.

3 I was out fishing for pan fish and caught an adolescent skunk trying to steal some of my fish. I picked him up by the scruff of the neck and put him in a bait box. Took him home. Put him on the kitchen table and started feeding him greens and even some shrimp which he liked. I was in the back of the house when the wife came home through the kitchen. She screamed and the poor guy backed off the table, hit the floor and sprayed the kitchen. Obviously, there were words, but I kept him for a couple of more weeks. The problem with them is that independent of the spray defense, the skunk smells terrible. When I tried to bathe him, he would raise his tail and threaten to spray me. So I took him back to the woods and released him. The 15 lb alligator snapping turtle, also caught trying to steal my fish, was a whole lot easier to deal with. It was cool to watch her snap pencils into pieces. Had her for a couple of years. The octopus trying to steal my fish down in Florida got eaten for his efforts. My dad said to me on a few occasions:" Mike. If you can eat pussy, you can eat anything," A generation thing I guess.

4 My aunt had a skunk, OH, what was its name? Sadie I think. Or was that the racoon.

I forget, it was a girl. Anyway it was taken from a nest young enough, the vet removed the glands while it was still little. so it was not stinky, they have really awesome soft fur.

We always had some kind of odd critter. I had a groundhog for a while. Pretty cool.

5 A wildlife officer saved the skunk and didn't get sprayed, surprisingly.

Back in the 70s or early 80s a private pet shop sold them, already desented.
