Commercial Deemed Too Political To Air

From The Blaze via I Hate The Media:

The simple, 30-second commercial was all set to run during CBS Sports' broadcast of the Wrangler Champions Challenge rodeo.

"We just thought it's around Sept. 11, Patriot Day, and rodeo is as patriotic a sport as it comes," Dave Retter told the Tri-City Herald. "We've had so many positive responses, we felt it would be fun to run something positive."

Retter, the owner of a real estate company in eastern Washington, also wanted to add a little local flavor as part of CBS Sports' rodeo broadcast, which was going to air all the action from the Horse Heaven Round-Up at a fair in nearby Kennewick.

Then the fair director got an email from CBS Sports rejecting the commercial because of its "political nature," the Herald reported.

Here's the commercial CBS thought was too political:

1 I wonder if it would be too political for cBS if a commercial called conservatives "teabaggers" or showing grandma being pushed off a cliff by conservative lawmakers. Just a rhetorical question...

4 That little girl is a subversive. She needs to be taken to a reeducation camp pronto!
If she cannot be cleansed of her thought crimes, it is off to the killing fields.

6 The whole media establishment is going to get a complete housecleaning of these anti-american leftists (along with academia). There comes a point when the populace figures out who has sold them out and there wont be anyone stopping them. If these leftists and their apologists are lucky they will simply wind up in the gutter with all their worldly wealth confiscated as "ill gotten gains". The ring leaders and co-conspirators in their fraud and treasons will go to prison. That will be only IF the mobs dont get to them first.

7 The little girl is marvelous. I hope she retains good memories and is not tainted by the radically pc shit that surrounds this.
