Poll: 92% Of Saudis Believe The Islamic State 'Conforms To Values Of Islam And Islamic Law'

"Conforms To Values Of Islam"

From Muslim Statistics via Gateway Pundit:

The Sakina Campaign plans to carry out a scientific survey to determine the position of the Saudi public on the "caliphate" announced by the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria. This comes after the results of an opinion poll of Saudis were released on social networking sites, claiming that 92% of the target group believes that "IS conforms to the values of Islam and Islamic law." Observers believe that in the current period, it is most important to "focus on the roots of extremism and to address and fight it."

The Saudi Sakina campaign plans to conduct a survey to determine the extent to which the Saudi public sympathizes with the Islamic State and its recent declaration of a caliphate.

1 I'm not surprised by this. I've seen Muslim groups and governments denounce the _tactics_ used by ISIS, but I haven't seen any of them denounce the _theology_.

2 I'm pretty sure they just ran this poll amongst the "Sunni" in Saudi. The Shia would hardly vote for their own genocide. So, there's good news: the Gulf Coast won't fall in line.

And there's bad news: the rest of Arabia *will* fall in line, including the bit with the two shrines. And they're the part with the weapons and administration.

3 Not surprised seeing as the Kingdom pays these radical people to go away so they don't overthrow the King but their families are still in S.A.

The problem is Sunni vs. Shia and there are not a lot of Shia versus Sunni which is why Shia Iran's Khomeni just got rid of the free contraceptives in Iran now its every Iranian's duty to procreate..........quickly.

btw - as an aside, if i were one of those 'thinking' about going to work in S.A. for whatever reason, and there are those in India, Phillipines, African countries, and other 'desert' states, I'd radically rethink this and stay home. Once you get to S.A. it seems to me by reading the news, its hard to get out.
