Angelic Michael Brown Not So Angelic After All (Updated & Bumped)

So, it seems the witness, who claimed Brown had his hands in the air and was running away from the police officer, helped Brown rob a store moments before. Yeah, no motive to lie there...

From The Daily Mail:

According to the police report, video shows Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson having an altercation with store staff and allegedly stealing a box of Swisher Sweets cigars on Saturday, shortly before midday.

In the grainy images, a large black man wearing a light-colored shirt, distinctive shoes, a red baseball hat and khaki shorts is seen assaulting a clerk and then stealing cigars.

A photograph of Michael Brown's body, taken minutes later in the street after he was shot dead, shows that he was wearing a light grey shirt, the same shoes and khaki cargo shorts. There was also a red baseball cap by the body.

This new development might also explain why rioters focused their rage on the QuikTrip convenience store. Although the store isn't where the robbery took place, it was mentioned by the robbery victim as a possible destination of the two criminals. The angry mobs must have heard about the robbery some time before it was made public, yet they still pursued the "cop executed innocent boy" narrative as an excuse to riot.

UPDATE: A vetted caller to the Dana Loesch Show gives Officer Darren Wilson's account of what happened:

Transcript below the fold.

A partial transcript, from Gateway Pundit:

"He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, he's looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And, then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.

And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and them Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren's first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, "Freeze!" Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him... And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something."

1 The cop that shot him was black. All dumb ass rioters can go home now!

[Edit by DMartyr: link removed because that is not the same officer involved in shooting.]

3 I am shocked -shocked - that Brown was a perpetrator in a robbery --

4 The camera gives, the camera takes away.

Without the cameras i think there would have been deaths at the riots, but the video biography of his last hour on earth has him looking more'n more like Travon Brown. As usual, almost everything we hear in the first two days is a lie outright or a lie of omission.

5 Oh yeah, that brute is 18? Definitely most of a clip.

6 #4 Storm - the left only needed two days to establish their narrative. No matter what evidence or facts come out now to exonerate the officer, those of low intelligence will only know the falsehoods.

7 No the local say he was on his knees, hands in the air when shot.
These dummies can't even get their own story straight.
The truth will come put evrn more with the angle at which he was shot.

This is just an excuse to riot, loots, and a hope of being ruffed up by the cops so theh can sue.

8 #7 Phil - I read that one too. Brown was on his knees surrendering when the cop just shot him in the head for no reason at all. Then, as brown fell forward, the cop shot him four times in the back, reloaded, and shot him another four times.

So, this case should be very simple. If Brown has bullet wounds to the back, witnesses are accurate and cop should be charged with excessive force & murder. If Brown only has bullet wounds to his front, the cop's version (see update) is accurate and witnesses should be charged with hindering an investigation.

9 the kid in this video is an uncivilized bully. he is big, and he uses his size to intimidate and threaten this store employee. if this kid is the same one that was shot by police, is certainly adds some doubt about his character. the guy in this video was a criminal, and it's one thing to try to pocket something, but this guy had no shame - at all! he thought the rules didn't apply to him, and it's sad to say, but perhaps he did start fighting with the cop. this guy was nothing but a two-bit criminal and a bully, and if he had cooperated with the police he probably would still be here shoving store clerks and waltzing around like he could do whatever he wants in the world. what a jerk.

10 Quit confusing people with facts.
They'll watch the video and say 'that's not him' because he was angelic and no evidence will change that. They have an idea that the cops are guilty and IDEAS ARE BULLETPROOF.

some twitter stuff:

"There is a longstanding tradition of demonizing victims in this country.
This unarmed teenager was killed by police. That's what matters."

"Mike brown stole bullets then fell on them" - early draft of the Ferguson PD incident report

"releasing video of an unrelated robbery the same time as the killer
cop's name is some of the boldest (and weakest) bullshit I've seen."

Bulletproof minds. Unchangeable.

11 #10 - I don't know if they are bulletproof, but they don't want to hear or believe ANYTHING that is contrary to what will benefit them the most.

12 "Swisher Sweets?????????????"
Being dumb enough to want to steal Swisher Sweets should be reason enough to be removed from the gene pool.

13 On a happier note, due to Mr. Brown not being able to attend the first day of college, someone else on the 'wait list' will be given his slot in the incoming Freshmen class!
