1 Greetings:

For some reason or other, Bruce Springsteen doesn't seem to be singing that line from "Born in the USA" that goes "Went down to see my VA man; he said son you don't understand." very much these days,

6 I knew a girl who thought WWII was in the 1600's. The American Revolution was about the 14th century. She was a college grad and didn't know anything about history. While she was a psych major, I knew the approximate dating on the important US and World wars in elementary school and I'm not even 30 yet. The nation is turning into morons with the attention span of a nat and the intellegence of a particulary slow-witted chipmunk with jello for brains. Hopefully the idiots who think this is the country's 2014th birthday do everyone a favor and not breed so as to remove the super idiot gene (or their contribution of the gene) from the gene pool.

7 True. I had a co-worker who didn't know what Pearl Harbor day was about.
