U.S. Fails To Object; Iran Gets Seat On UN Women's Rights Commission

(Sure, let's give Iran a voice in the proper treatment of women!)

Another politically correct blow to human rights, with the current Administration culpable:

The Obama administration on Wednesday criticized Iran's election to the U.N.'s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) - but neither the U.S. nor any other delegation objected when given the opportunity to do so, thus allowing Iran to get the seat "by acclamation."

Iran will now serve on the CSW, a body dealing with gender equality and the advancement of women, for another four-year term, having already been a member since 2011.

1 This hanging never happened.
Just ask any womens: group, studies, conference, gathering at a university or community college, or feminazi.

2 Of course it wasn't a real hanging.

In a hanging, the victim is suddenly dropped from a short height, snapping the neck. If done correctly, hangings are relatively fast and painless.

Iran doesn't hang women. It strangles them. The noose is looped around the victims neck and then a crane lifts the victim by the rope. It takes several minutes of thrashing before the victim dies.

3 In 1998 Mike Huckabee joined other Christian religious leaders in signing a full page ad in USA Today proclaiming their belief women be subservient. It is their religious belief. We must respect beliefs.

4 #3 - but Mike Huckabee and "other Christian leaders" are not legislating inequality and justifying abuse against women based on their beliefs.

It's time to stop equating religions, especially between those that have certain beliefs and those violently acting on those beliefs.

5 I must've read it too quickly in 1998 'cause i missed the part in that full page ad where Huckabee said that women who don't submit should be strangled.

(Damn thee, bob, you have me defending that smarmy, progressive Huckabee twit..)
