he poet Yahya Hassan was assaulted with punches to his head and body while waiting on a platform at Copenhagen Central Station yesterday, according to media reports.

According to Jyllands-Posten newspaper, DSB staff quickly apprehended a 24-year-old man who was subsequently arrested by police and will be charged today with politically-motivated assault.

“The assailant hit him in the head from behind with a closed fist several times and shouted that he was a infidel and should die,” Kenneth Jensen, the investigation leader for the Copenhagen Police, told Jyllands-Posten.

Yahya Hassan told a the Politiken newspaper,
"As soon as our parents landed in the airport, it was as if they gave up their role as parents," he told Politiken. "Then we could watch our fathers passively rot on the couch with the remote in their hands, living off state benefits, accompanied by a disillusioned mother who never put her foot down. Those of us who dropped out of school, who became criminals and bums, we weren't let down by the system, but by our parents. We are the orphaned generation."
He later defended his statement blaming Muslim parents for their children's criminality on a Danish television show, scoring records death threats from the followers of the Religion of Peas.
After his appearance in the DR2 news programme Deadline this week in which he criticised Muslim parents, Yahya Hassan, an 18-year old poet of Palestinian descent, has received more death threats than any other guest in the show's history.

"He is going to fucking die! That's all there's to it," one commenter immediately wrote on Deadline's Facebook page, while another wants Hassan to "shoot himself before someone else does it". A third wrote: "I wish I had a bazooka, then he would have been gone a long time ago."

His attacker is identified as 24-year-old Isaac Meyer aka Abdul Basit Abu Lifa.

basitabulifa.jpgMeyer was convicted on charges of terrorism in 2006.

Denmark tried to deport him to his parents native Jordan after he was released after serving a seven year sentence.

But the district court emphasized that the Jordanian citizenship was not something he himself had chosen, but something he automatically had been awarded.

The 19-year-old Abu-Lifa serving a sentence of seven years in prison for being in league with the Danish Turk Abdulkadir Cesur and Swedish Bosnians failed Mirsad Bektasevich which in 2005 was taken in Sarajevo, including 20 kg explosives and are now serving long sentences in Bosnian prison.

1 More reason for terrorists to be just shot immediately.
If money is a problem, rope is cheap and you can get water or rocks for free.

2 Politically motivated assault should carry a mandatory death sentence to be carried out within 6 months of conviction. The entire western world should adopt this law.
Not just for Muslim fanatics but it's suitable for Obama thugs are well.
A civilized world must maintain order. You aren't free if speaking your beliefs results in fear of violence.

3 That's a little much.

Why don't we just go ahead and do 100 lashes for a beer then?

Simple battery with no serious injury, with record he can get cornholed for another 7 to 10 after his 6 months out. Then I reckon, given his record, he ill pull something else to get sent back.

Now if they next guy who he hits pushes him in front of the train, all the better.

4 Short stints in prison don't eliminate the problem when it comes to politically motivated violence. A guy named Hitler should prove my point.
