"Innocent" Gitmo Prisoner Calls on Taliban to Storm Gitmo

Moazzam Begg is held up by both the Left and Islamists as evidence that most Gitmo prisoners were just innocent guys wandering around Afghanistan herding goats when the meany-Americans profiled them and just started putting every Mo, Azziz, and Machmood in prison.

If this guy wasn't al Qaeda, how come he's so keen on al Qaeda breaking prisoners out of Iraqi jails? And why does he want the Taliban to do the same in Gitmo?

Begg is one of the jihad supporting assmaggots behind the group masquerading as a "human rights" organization called Cage Prisoners. This is a group that had Anwar al-Awlaki as their keynote speaker at a "human rights fundraiser". You know, the former external operations chief for al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

1 Storm Gitmo. You reckon the Cubans would allow enough Muslims in Cuba to "storm Gitmo". Who knows but I suggest they wait until we close it.

2 The best evidence that most of the Gitmo detainees were innocent is that the US military released about 700 of the 850 that were sent there. That happened under Bush/Cheney.

3 Occam: The state of California releases thousands every year that plead quilty. There's no relationship between guilt and innocence when politics are involved.
I presume some picked up by our allies may be innocent so they were turned loose. But the number would be small. Very small.

4 Today they are closing 16 embassies because as Obama says Al Qaeda is on the run.
Somehow, it doesn't look like they're the ones running. We should have flown in a company of Marines at every embassy and told them to come and get it.
But Obama, always, always makes the wrong decision. That's what you get when you elect a racist community activist president.

5 Rooster, ubama's decisions are not wrong. Especially as his worldview is that of a islamo/communist who hates America, they make perfect sense. His owners are very pleased with his performance, destroying America. And he has till January 2017 to complete the job.

7 @ 1. Gray, Ever been to GITMO? the mountains, old Cuban mine fields and 17 miles of fence with 8 miles of cactus would slow down any invasion from the Cuban side as would the CARG that loiters nearby. GITMO has had plans for repelling such that go back almost one hundred years.
The area is strewn with sensors and detection devices, pre-registered for arty and channelized areas leading into weapons free zones of plunging and direct fire.
A hike to John Paul Jones point will drain the floggin' life out of a man or woman carrying gear.

8 I doubt the plan is to attack GITMO per se.

Knowing al-Qaeda the plan would be to kidnap a bunch of people, hold them hostage, demand the release and then start sawing off heads as their demands are not met.

More their style.

I don't look for homeland attacks, as why do that and upset the US who is letting you get away with pretty much everything.

They will look to attack in areas where they are working now. As part maximizing of their prison break campaign they will take American hostages. They'll also probably attempt an attack in revenge for the removal of Morsi.
