Good News: Jihadis Going to Burma

Or is that Myanmar? I never can remember what we're calling the place these days.

In any event, I've known this was coming for about six months now as jihadi propaganda has become less and less filled with diatribes against Israel and more and more with discussions of "genocide" being committed by "infidels" against Muslims in Burma. And now it looks like it's finally on:

A group of jihadists from Burma, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Pakistan are reported to have formed a "brigade" to fight the Burmese government. A Burmese branch of the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami that is based in Karachi, Pakistan and has been in operation since the late 1980s is likely involved in recruiting Pakistanis to fight in Burma....

The group claims it killed 17 Burmese soldiers in its first ambush of a military convoy, and "a few days ago they slaughtered three men including a Buddhist monk." The claims could not be confirmed.

Not that there's any loved loss for the Burmese military, but the last thing that country needs right now is a hot war against Islamist extremists just as it begins to emerge from decades of fascism.

1 Burma may not need a "hot" war right now, but mayhaps in attacking the Burmese military, the jihadists have bitten off more then they can chew.

2 So if they are steeped in fascism, they are probably not going to roll over and submit to islamism.

3 They don't count women and children? Normally killing those who run Burma is a good thing. This throws a monkey wrench into the game. Not we must think about who is the worse.

4 I seriously doubt that an islamic terrorist group is present in Burma, when Muslims don't even form any majority in any state in Burma, let alone even in Rakhine state, where the Rohingya people live. I suspect the pictures are probably taken in bordering Bangladesh, where there are weapons such as AK47's and others that can easily be obtained, especially in a region where there are insurgent groups operating in north-east India and also in Bangladesh. You have to understand, if an islamic terrorist group wants to make a statement, they would normally make a video to prove things, instead they've just produced pictures that could be anywhere in sub-tropical Asia !! Also there have been no evidence from independent journalists or even the Burmese government confirming clashes with islamic terrorist groups.

5 Greetings:

Hopefully, the Burmese Buddhies will get in touch with their Khmer Rouge buddies...I mean for rehabilitation purposes...of their interpersonal communication skills.

6 Well, i can believe they killed the monk.

Lessee: 60 million people, 04% muzzlum, that's 2.4 million potential troublemakers to shoot dead. Throw out the foreign journalist and double the rum ration, President Sein could have this wrapped up in six months and still have bullets left over to send to Assad. And who am i to judge their culture?
