Is A Criminal Still A Criminal If The Law He Broke Is Waived?

The Gang of 8 promised rigorous background checks for all illegal immigrants seeking amnesty. They claim those with criminal backgrounds will not qualify.

But what good is that if the Amnesty bill waive crimes - some felonies - for illegals that would punish U.S. citizens and legal immigrants up to 15 years in prison?

I guess it's easy to pass a background check if any laws you broke are ignored...

1 Every politician who signed for this is a criminal and will be held to account in the future.

This kind of thing is one of the trigger wires that could start the Revolution (Ive always asked what it will be).

2 I will never vote for any maggot who votes for this. It is unAmerican, and treasonous to give illegals MORE rights than we have as citizens. The only winners in this will be the Dumocrats who will sign up new least until they become successful and educated...then they switch to become Republicans.

3 Thirty million and they vote mostly the Democratic giveaway ticket. This means the dems will protect them to keep their vote. Too bad, so sad. After all wasn't it the wealthy Republican controlled corporations that wanted the cheap labor to begin with? Tyson Foods, Cargill, etc: Go visit Berryville, Ark, Dodge City or Garden City, Kansas and see who is doing the dirty work. Who picked the veggies you enjoy tonight? Whites? Blacks? Who plucked that chicken? Who gutted that steer and who is going to do it if all south of the border types go "home" tomorrow? I'm not.
Face it. America's poor, uneducated and traditional minorities aren't going to lift a finger to feed themselves. Much less you.
If you need Manuel labor you must go to Manuel. The problem is that Manuel is tired of using a mop and bucket and wants your job in that air conditioned office. What's more is that he believes he worked harder than you for it.
Manuel ain't going nowhere and if he did America would kiss his ass to get him to come back.

4 Even if every south of the border type came here legally. Was vetted and checked out who says their kids are going to be great citizens? Anyone been to Los Angeles lately? Looked at who is running the prisons in California, Texas, New Mexico? Most of their parents came here legally and worked hard in the fields and cleaning motel rooms.
Now if we kept the good manufacturing jobs at home instead of sending them to Asia perhaps we could offer this 2nd generation, mostly poorly educated, culturally segregated group jobs that would make them feel like more than peons. They don't need education. They need something more than stoop labor. But Wal-Mart doesn't agree and Wal-Mart gets what they want because they're a nickel cheaper. As Donald Trump says: America wants a $1.00 hamburger.

5 Just e-mailed all of my senators and congress members to vote this crap DOWN! I KNOW one of them won't listen as he is an idiot flaming liberal. The other Senator is none other than Mr Rubio who will NEVER get my vote again even if it is against the devil himself. The other is a new rep who I didn't even get a chance to vote for as my district was rejiggered and the one I voted for is now representing an entirely different area. There ought to be laws against that, but what do I know....

6 Rubio is the son of immigrants and you expect him to do what? He falls into my. You are one, You are related to one or you are being screwed by one category. It's amazing how many do.
Having lived in Miami for many years I quickly learned that Cubans may call themselves Republicans, and are loyal. At the same time they are very, very pro immigration. Many still have relatives coming here everyday. One way or another. Many via other Spanish speaking South and Central American countries.
Miami is a good example of just how quickly another culture can take over a large American city. Miami is a Cuban city.

7 $20 says this will pass.
Everything passes in the US these days because you will put up with everything.
You have this misguided belief in the 'rule of law' which means as long as it is a law, you will put up with anything. This is how the scumbags take advantage of you.

10 Mexican citizens are not subject to our laws, it would be against their culture of lawlessness, and that would be bad. As you know, American culture is always subservient to any other culture.

11 HerWrath has her shit together. We've already been though this same crap over an over for years. They'll come up some "we'll forgive this few million and close the door". Then in ten years it will be the same old story.
