Omar Hammami Death Watch Update

Imagine my surprise and heartbreak when I returned from vacation to find that Omar Hammami had been shot in the neck and was probably buzzard bait somewhere in the Somali desert. I and I'd missed the whole sheebang!

Then imagine the sigh of relief when Stable Hand emailed with a He's not dead Jim!

Hiding in a hole? Damn that's a letdown. I thought the brave Muj would stand to the death while facing impossible odds. Silly me.

Anyway, I'm back now so you may proceed with the operation. Fire when ready.

Update: It looks like Shabaab is creating a Kangaroo Sharia case against Omar.

It appears his group is holding out in the forest against those seeking him. It appears he's not very optimistic about the eventual outcome.

He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which, eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself."

1 Maybe the reason why we haven't heard from him lately is because they buried him in the hole.

2 Nope that's a fresh tweet, I wouldn't have posted it otherwise.

3 How do I know this isn't Zionist propaganda and that Omar is living happily with his harem of sheep?

4 You'd think by this point in his little excursion to Dirkaville - that Islam isn't all it was cracked up to be.

5 May I recommend tossing a grenade into the hole? Or the 80mm rifle shot from a hundred feet out?
He is likely to be holding an AK contrary to Saddam afraid of US troops.

6 I get the seriousness of this, but all I'm thinking is that I kind of want a hole in my backyard now. Is this something everybody has? Our back yard is completely hole-less.
