Two Top Chechen Jihadis Killed
You gotta love the Russians. Sure, their foreign policy sucks and their electoral system is almost, but not quite, as corrupt as Chicago's -- but they do produce smokin' hot women and know how to deal with jihadis: by killing them:
Two of the most wanted Islamist rebels in Chechnya were among 14 people killed in a shootout between Russian forces and militants, Interfax news agency said on Thursday. Brothers Khuseyn and Muslim Gakayev have been accused of organising several high-profile attacks, most recently a suicide bomb attack on an interior ministry vehicle that killed four people last August. They were also blamed for an attack on the Chechen parliament in 2010 when at least six people died, and an assassination attempt at the residence of Moscow-backed Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. For their part, the Kavkaz Center is neither confirming nor denying the death of the brothers. In fact, if you read their statement carefully you learn that the last communication from the jihadi cell was that they were surrounded and under attack. Then, nothing more
On the night of Thursday Kavkaz Center received a message about the encirclement of the Mujahideen in the Vedeno district. It said that large forces of puppets, supported by invaders, including by aircraft and artillery, have surrounded a group of Mujahideen by the will of Allah.Yes, I'm quite sure it was Allah's will that the al Qaeda types were surrounded and killed. Sounds kind of like a confirmation to me. Hat tip: Rantburg

you know that olla does not cry.
When a jihadi turns up his toes,
we all know just where he goes.
He goes to hell and that is sweet,
olla smiles and beats his meat.
and I wrote that after only one bourbon.
