By All Means, Keep Emailing Known al Qaeda Sympathizers

How did the FBI first learn of Mohamed Mohamud's interest in blowing people in Portland up? He emailed Samir Khan:

The FBI came across him in 2009 while investigating Samir Khan. Khan was the man from Charlotte who edited an online magazine for al-Qaeda.

The FBI was tracking Khan -- who was killed in a drone strike with then-al-Qaida leader Anwar al-Awlaki -- when they came across Mohamud's emails to him in early 2009.

Thank Allah that most of Samir's online friends were morons.
