A Weapons Safety Lesson For Joe Morrissey (D-Highland Springs) Of Virginia

Virginia lawmaker's AK-47 sparks gun debate on House floor:

A Richmond-area lawmaker brandished an AK-47 on the floor of the Virginia House of Delegates on Thursday in a wild stunt aimed at rallying support for tougher gun law[....]

Republicans in the chamber were not amused by Morrissey's stunt.

Del. Todd Gilbert, R-Woodstock, interrupted Morrissey's speech to ask him to take his finger out of the trigger guard[More...]

Take your f'n thumb out of that trigger guard, dude (thanks to DMartyr)

I had visions of Morrissey thinking the bad bad weapon wasn't loaded only to find out it was. It certainly would have wiped the smile off of some of the faces in the above picture. Hit the deck, hit the deck...Oh my God, it's loaded!!...Stop, please stop!! Good times, good times, in my visions - naturally.

Now for the weapons lesson for gun grabbing liberals like the above. I normally don't watch Hannity except for when he has a audience he interacts with on a subject I am most interested in. I think most would agree, this was the highlight of the evening (sans Hannity's interruptions)

h/t The Blaze for link to the video.

To close, I would also like to add this:

1 These gun-control nuts like to claim gun owners are too irresponsible to own a weapon, but they can't even hold one safely.

2 Not only are libs stupid, but they're dangerous as well.

3 Ignorance leads to fear, fear leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. Or something like that.

4 My Grandson is only eleven years old and he knows better than this ass even with his BB gun.
My DI would have inserted his boot so far up this idiots anus he would be flashing KIWI from his eyes for a week.
My PMI would have just shot him.
I would have instructed him on the techniques to prevent fratricide by accident by taking the magazine out of the rifle, locking the bolt to the rear and having a safety lock on his weapon.
Fer Crixus sakes I learned this at 8 years old while squirrel hunting with my Dad and my own l'il .22 rifle.
Nothing says MORON quite as much as borrowing a weapon from a friend and walking around without making a safety check declaring "It's OK it's empty" disregarding the oldest rule in the book.
The empty gun shoots the loudest.

The NRA rules of firearm safety:
ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in
a safe direction.
ALWAYS keep your finger off
the trigger until ready to shoot.
ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Obviously this moron never heard of them or at least #2 from the picture.

6 We can hope that Democrats learn to check if the chamber is clear by peering down the barrel and that the weapon is uncocked by simultaneously releasing the trigger.
I suppose I am one of the last Englishmen to have been taught firearms use in school.
When it was a regular part of a full curriculum and weapons were totally un-regulated there wasn't all this gun crime and street shoot-outs we now have in the UK.

7 At the gun show today, lots of people were walking around with guns. None of those guns killed anyone. Of course, most of us were smarter than a legislator. And none of us were wearing suits. Except our Sheriff, who was wearing a suit cause he just left the Second Amendment Appreciation Rally.

8 Forget the rest of the crap, I just fell madly in love with Jessie Duff. Wow, what a woman.

9 There is a reason a firearm's stock and most bolt on accessories are called furniture; they are about as "dangerous", except in the fevered minds of libtards.

10 He most likely could not figure out how to hold a rifle with a thumb hole stock.

11 Obsidian, he would have to pull hi thumb out of his ass first.
