#GunControl: As State Senator Obama Opposed Gun Ban Exception to Defend One’s Home
Why am I not surprised
[ZIP]As a state senator in Illinois, President Obama opposed legislation providing an exception to handgun restrictions if the weapon was used in the defense of one’s home. The bill passed anyway much to bronco bamas dismay, I suppose. FORWARD!:
Just eight years earlier, in 1996, Obama answered “Yes” to a survey question asking whether he would support state legislation to “ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.” The Obama 2008 presidential campaign claimed the form had been filled out by an aide who mischaracterized Obama’s position, even though Obama’s handwriting was found on survey.

Ero: I still have a lot of friends connected with the Military as well as Law Enforcement. They have told me in no uncertain terms will they either go door to door to collect guns, nor will they fire on American citizens defending their rights. That doesn't mean there wouldn't be some asshole that would. You and I know there's always a rotten apple in the barrel. I don't know who Obama is going to get to collect the guns, but if he thinks we are turning them in, he's going to be sadly mistaken. If he gets the UN to do his dirty work, well the fights on at that point and welcome to the new American Civil War.
