Muslima Sentenced to Life in Death of Son

She killed him because he wasn't memorizing the Koran fast enough.

Mr Justice Wyn Williams said: "I am satisfied that it was his failure to learn the Koran that day that resulted in the beating that caused his death."

"The violence Yaseen suffered was not confined to the day of his death.

"For three months you beat him often with a wooden pestle and I'm confident these beatings left him in a significant amount of pain.

"This prolonged cruelty culminated on the day of his death in what was a savage attack. You then set fire to his body in an attempt to evade responsibility for what you had done.

But Sara Ege's husband Yousuf Ege was not held responsible in his death, even though I find it hard not to imagine that at least part of Sara's motivation was please her husband a to raise Yaseen in a manner she thought would meet Yousuf's approval.

But don't worry, Allah will catch up with Yousuf soon enough.

1 There are monsters walking amongst us - MONSTERS! I wonder how the United Kingdom likes bathing in the stew of multiculturalism they've imported?

4 I was a knucklehead during piano lessons (age 8). My music teacher was one of my Mama's friends and she could gather up that skin on your shoulder like a cat's hide and twist the bejabbers out of it. If I didn't learn that upper 'c' or high 'w' or whatever, she'd have me crying and slinging snot pretty damn quick. But she never beat me with a pestle (wasn't an apothecary). I think she was a Methodist.
