2 Wonder who is going to replace him? Have we learned anything from Arab Spring? At one time everyone wished the worse for strongmen and dictators in North Africa and the middle east. How'd that work out?
Vacuums are always filled by something. A younger, more vibrant, healthier Hugo Chavez think alike would be far worse than a sick, America hater ever was. Or the world could get lucky and get someone worth a shit. Who knows? Venezuela may go even more socialist. Or?.

3 Hugo Chavez has cancer.
Gov Jerry Brown of Calif has cancer.

Since they both share the same ideals perhaps they should share the same hospital bed and comfort each other.

Maybe there is a God.

4 Chavez is heading off to Cuba for a terminal vacation and has appointed a successor. So i hear. I'm lazy this morning so i am not digging up a source. Expect a smooth transition of management and the revolution to remain intact. (That means no more than a thousand people killed in the riots and another thousand in the purge. Communists have a different definition of 'smooth' than do us civilized folks.)

Speaking of dictators on their way out, news sources reported Syrian government forces fired six SCUD ballistic missiles at rebel targets on 12 December. Ouch!

11 Maybe they will bury Chavez with his ass in the air so American leftists like Obama can grab a cold one.

12 Chavez successor resembles Saddam Hussein.
I guess that sulfur he kept smelling was the devil, stoking up the fire in anticipation of deep frying some fat Venezuelan ass.
