UN Hosts Art Depicting Palestine as All of Israel

Of course, this IS the UN

The UN is now hosting in the public entrance hall of its New York headquarters a Palestinian exhibit which includes pieces that artfully depict all of Israel as Palestine. The display goes hand-in-hand with the logo featured at the top of the cover page of the speech that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ delivered to the General Assembly on November 29, 2012. That emblem continues to promote a one state solution, Palestine without Israel.

On November 29th the General Assembly granted “Palestine” the status of “non-member observer state” under the pretense that the move brought the world closer to a two-state solution. But that same evening Palestinian UN representative Riyadh Mansour opened an exhibit entitled Palestine – Memories Dreams Perseverance.” The political message is not subtle, with the works bearing titles such as “homeless,” “delirious in exile,” and “to Jerusalem we travel.”[ More...]

The exhibit should be called from the river to the sea....

Meanwhile, a UN official was arrested for collaborating with al-Shabaab.

Yup, like I said - this IS the UN.

Comments

1 Someone should host an exhibit of artworks depicting NYC without the UN.

2 These evil bastards should be kicked out now. We should dig up Woodrow Wilson and kick his ass out too.

3 I should advise everyone involved that i hold a royal land grand from the King of Moab that bestows upon me full rights to the entirety of Transjordania and the waters nearby. I still have my chariot: don't make me come over there.

4 Using the UN to get what they want is about the only way they will get it. They damn sure won't fight for it, and even if the UN gives it to them, they had better well be willing to die for it. The Jews are.

5 I seriously doubt that there is a connection between between Palestine being accepted as a non member observer and this (ART ?) display. The same evening after acceptance is simply far to close. The display had to be planned for months.

6 Will they take submission of 'art' -- I have a pound of campfire ashes I can glue to a plank leaving a small clean white spot in the middle -- It represents the future of the Arab (and persian) world (and Israel in the center) if the muslim barbarians keep going they way they are now.

Expect the first iranian nuke missile fired at Tel Aviv to mysteriously go off course and either land in Tehran or Gaza. Glassifying much of Iran will then follow.

9 #5 Rico: The self proclaimed palestinians have always shown maps and drawings(art)as being completely one country, theirs, with no Israel.

10 So? Are you saying they aren't there? If they don't live there then what is the problem?
They're there. Have been for centuries. They believe the land is theirs. They believe they are a people. They believe they are a nation and they believe in Mohamhead.
What others believe doesn't change what they believe. Never has. Never will. Their education starts the day they are born.
The question is how do you deal with it? I sure as hell don't know. Fact is, I'm not sure I give a shit. Most times people work shit out.

11 #10 Rico: If, you are referring to the Arab people, indistinguishable from any other Arab, that refer to themselves as "Palestinian". You need to study history and quit listing to the history revisionists. Yassar Arafat started pushing that name when he and his gang returned to Israel as a political ploy to convince the World they were always there. the Romans named the area Palestine to PO the Jews. Archaeology has proven over and over that the Jews have been there for thousands of years. Mohammed did not even start his Islam until approx. 640AD. Arabs moved to Israel in numbers in the 1890's-1900's to work for JEWS as they could get paid.
