Vietnamese Immigrant Charged With Aiding AQAP
Met With Awlaki & Samir Khan

Minh Quang Pham allegedly helped design and distribute AQAP "propaganda"

A Vietnamese immigrant has been charged in New York over an alleged role in helping al-Qaida in Yemen.

Minh Quang Pham was arrested in Britain. He is accused of traveling to Yemen to train with members of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP.

Pham is also accused of helping the group with its online propaganda efforts. Investigators said he was in Yemen from December 2010 through July 2011.

The article further states he met with Anwar al Awlaki and Samir Khan. As regular readers know, both were droned. Too bad this assmaggot wasn't with them at the time.

Update: Alternative title: Samir Khan's assistant arrested in Britain, soon to be shipped to USA

Update II: The IPT has a PDF link to Pham's (aka "Amin") indictment

From the indictment, Pham appears to have been actively participating with AQAP just months before the United States killed senior American al-Qaida propagandists Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan. The drone strike effectively halted AQAP's reach in the English-speaking world, although the group released two additional issues of the Inspire magazine produced by al-Awlaki and Khan.
