'Global Warming' Update - Yet Another Ice Storm

It is with heavy heart and sad disposition that I write this post.

I was not able to attend the much-anticipated Gathering of Eagles today because of a freak occurrence of global warming that paralyzed much of this metropolitan area overnight.

And by global warming, I mean a fierce ice/sleet storm that covered every location from Delaware to Boston in nearly a foot of slush, ice and/or snow. When I awoke this morning, the global warming had frozen the slush that had been collecting all afternoon and evening on the roadways to a solid sheet of ice. Navigating the unplowed and untreated roads would have been very dangerous in my front-wheel drive Honda (problems in the past have taught me this), and I felt that the risks of trying to push through the quagmire of man-made sleet/ice/snow/warming was enough to turn me away from the long trip.

This has been frustrating, and I apologize to the readers for not being able to cover the event. Ragnar hopefully made it down there, although many international airports were closed and/or in flux last night due to the global warming.

G-d Bless the Veterans. I wish with every fiber of my being that I could have been there. I wonder if Algore's conspicuous consumption of 25X my energy usage could have had anything to do with this.

1 Warmest winter on record retard. It's all over the news, but I wouldn't expect you to know that. You probably don't believe them scienticians unless they're doin' stuff like making all thems boner pills you take.

3 Yea, well, this doesn't mean it isn't global warming you know. It could be that all the warming has caused excessive "turbulence" in the atmosphere leading to ah, um, overly excessive cooling and abnormal , like, winter weather , you know. Just ask "Gore-doh", he's an assxpert. Next we'll be hearing, again, about the plight of the polar bears.

1 Warmest winter on record retard".....what record would that be ? The weather records in the US ? They go back ,ohhhhh, about 120 years, what was the winter of 1657 like on the east coast, how about 1588, or 1322, or 250,000 years ago ? Can you tell me that, or can't you regurgitate somethingelse you know nothing about ? Jackass. Just for the record, asswipe, in the past there have been vineyards in England and Greenland was green an yadayadayada. Fact check, shithead, before you critique. NEXT !!

4 Yes, this is the warmest winter on record, that is, if you count December through January as Winter. The NOAA data that gets to the point shows 0.72C above the mean for that period (it's not really clear if they are refering to Dec 1-Jan 31, but I assume they meant that). Why the announcement now? February was the third COLDEST month on record, 0.9C below the mean. If they waited a month or so to include all the records for the winter, then it is ikely that this winter will go down in history as slightly warmer than average.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Mr. Twain we miss you.

5 I love Twain :

"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you're misinformed."

A Prophet among men.

6 "5 I love Twain :"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you're misinformed.""......and if you write for a newspaper you are what can be called "mentally challenged". If you publish a newspaper you're just another America hating libtard, for the most part.

7 Don't quote Twain. He would have kicked you in the nuts if he were alive today.

Ah well.... doesn't matter. You guys are on your way down the shitter anyway. Comes from drinking the koolaid Bush Co has been feeding you for the past few years.

Fuck yer dumb.

8 We certainly could use another Twain.

9 Fuck yer dumb.
