2 I have a really bad feeling about this. I would not be surprised if a video appears some time near the end of next week.

3 Didn't the Iraqi this happened to just go home to visit relatives and say he was kidnapped? You guys think what you want. But a muslim is a muslim and I don't care who he works for.

4 He's an Iraqi. His wife is an Iraqi. His wife was in Iraq visiting family at the time of his disappearance. Has anyone seen her since he disappeared? I think the guy's AWOL.

5 Clearly his identity as a muslim whose wife is in Iraq makes one suspicious about the disappearance... Working as a translator and supposedly his wife just
happened to be in town. Seems they can't be trusted, even when part of our

6 clearly that makes sense. I used the word clearly, so it has to make sense. clearly

7 Think back. This is the second time. The first IRAQI American said he was kidnapped but in reality was AWOL.

8 I'll not impeach the character of someone serving in our armed forces based on the fact that he a foreign national or a Muslim, I just hope he is found alive and well.

Posted by: davec at October 25, 2006 12:56 AM

9 CNN is upset they don't have the video of the kidnapping, yet.

Posted by: hadsil at October 25, 2006 01:05 AM

10 Yeah, the guy is serving his country. Just because he's a muslim doesn't mean he's faking his kidnapping. God bless you Davec.

11 In response to a timetable recently set for Iraq to take control of it's country, Chief Maliki sez he is not concerned. That no one has the right to impose a timetable. Therein lies the problem. Like training a monkey to use a typewriter. That's why things were just hunky dory with Saddam Hussein in charge, keeping the animals in check. That's why we should just get the hell out, give the terrorists time to set up camp, and then nuke the hell out of them! Everytime the Iraq forces enter a squabble with the militias they cry out for U.S. backup. I thought that was bad policy from the get-go, to have our future dependent on how quickly Iraq can step up so that we can step down.

12 Reports indicate that this a-hole left his secure zone without permission. He left alone -without protection. Now because of his dumb ass decision making, a whole lot ofU.S.GI's have to expose themseleves to undue danger to find him.

It is pathetic. He compromised the lives of his fellow servicemen when he went AWOL.

He deserves no quarter, no respect whatsoever. I hope they find him and hang him before the Mullahs can...

13 Another example of these filthy subhuman arabs. You want to put these arabs in the same military with our God fearing Christian Americans?! SHAME ON YOU!

Just like all arabs and iraqis this man deserves a tortured and painful death.

Making our precious real American GI's look for such a worthless subhuman creature and exposing themselves to harm should be treason.

14 Can't believe some previous commenters still don't get it. Muslims shouldn't be in America period. Who the hell wants a muslim in our armed forces? Sooner or later he will turn and is probably for that reason. Muslims in our armed forces? Think of the pressure it puts on the other members of his unit not knowing what this muslim is going to do next. Those who trust muslim are simply stupid. OUTLAW ISLAM
