Lest We Forget

Which we, here at the Jawa Report, nearly did.

Today was the 23rd anniversary of the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut.

Sondra has a list of the fallen.

God bless them all, and their families.

3 RIP to all those who died. Gone but not forgotten. Have they been properly avenged? Probably not...

4 God bless and keep you.

Interesting side-note from wikipedia:

The words "Semper fidelis" were applied to the Polish city of Lwów (in Latin, "Leopolis"; now L'viv, in western Ukraine) in 1658 by Pope Alexander VII in recognition of the city's key role in defending Europe from Muslim invasion.

6 More or less not much going on worth mentioning. Pretty much nothing seems worth doing. I've just been staying at home not getting anything done. So it goes. I've just been letting everything wash over me lately, but I guess it doesn't bother me. My mind is like a complete blank.
