Sarah Palin Threatens Murkowski With Primary

Abortion extremist and 2nd-most-liberal Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski will vote against Kavanaugh on social (group) justice grounds -- other women were assaulted and not believed in the past, so she will scape-goat an innocent man to balance the Social Justice Warrior karmic scales.

Murkowski voted against moving Kavanaugh's nomination forward and claimed afterward that Kavanaugh's "not the right man for the court at this time."

She admits that he's a "good man," but the Social Justice of this #MeToo moment demands he be branded a rapist:

"I believe that Brett Kavanaugh is a good man. I believe he is a good man. It just may be that in my view he's not the right man for the court at this time."

The strange demonic gods of Social Justice demand a ritual sacrifice, and Abortion Priestess Lisa Murkowski is willing to wield the dagger.

Well, Sarah Palin is now threatening a primary.

I don't think Palin's that popular in Alaska any more but she's still got some juice.

Palin's longtime aide Rebecca Mansour had suggested this primary threat hours before:

Run, Sarah, Run!

Bonus: How #Based is Lindsay Graham now?

This #Based. Look at the screaming maenad in the background, and Linsay Graham's jaunty adjustment to his tie's classic Double-Bofa knot.

Video of the encounter here.

Update: Joe Manchin is really obvious in his pretending.

Only now that Kavanaugh doesn't need him does he announce to his conservative voters, "Oh, I'm a Yes too."

How long is West Virginia going to fall for this?

187 Palin is no savior here. Too much baggage including her screwy kids.

Palin was doing the heavy lifting for conservatives in the public forum for years - even as she and her family were being savaged by the lefty savages and the Vichy Right. She never backed down and usually brought the conservative point across loud and clear. And even then she generally didn't get the credit she deserved, but she fought on, anyway.

Palin would be fantastic in the Senate and the country would benefit immensely from it.

Now ... if Michelle Bachman could be convinced to run for a Senate seat, too ...

She's saying that Kavanaugh should not be confirmed because there is the perception that the judiciary is corrupt, and that to confirm him would merely strengthen that perception.

But the majority of people who consider it corrupt are surely conservatives. So if perception of corruption is the primary concern, he should be confirmed.

Liberals merely do not wish to lose their SC majority. They are merely worried about power. To paraphrase Barack, they've got a good deal in the past and they need to accept the fact that times have changed. Liberals can absorb the pain that comes with a Kavanaugh confirmation. 282 265 Murkowski's statement makes no sense.

Remember the Crusades!

Just think, it'll mean 6 solid years of Cocaine Mitch filling the judiciary with conservatives, including, perhaps, seats that give us 6-3 (or even, please Dear Jesus 7-2) on SCOTUS.

That said, Murky is absolutely gone for good next time around. The GOP won't be funding another write-in campaign after this, you can bet.

When reached for comment on the Collins speech, Kavanaugh said "Sens. Graham, Hatch, and McConnell are coming to a party tonight along with some of my prep school buddies, where we'll be doing shots of tequila and lines of coke off Sen. Collins's ass. Sen. Murkowski: still time to get in on this, babe, but the train is leaving the station soon." He then made a train whistle sound and walked off the platform saying "Choo-choo! Chug-chug!"

360 I will bring up again my idea for a new senate committee (with some help from other morons who improved it):
The Senate Select Subcommittee on Self-Recriminations.

Committee members (Murkowski is on the list. She can chair it.) must issue weekly motions containing pronouncements disparaging themselves individually for their bad behavior. Those motions then go to the floor for a vote.

Senators are allowed to leave the committee only when two of their weekly motions consecutively *fail* to pass in the full chamber.

They're already defending in cases from employees demanded past dues.

Some are definitely tied up in court around cases they have to know they are going to lose.

I think part of the Democrats' "strategy" here is that the money isn't where it should be. They used to be able to rely on the organizational skills and money of unions to help, but it's been hit, so they've gone overboard trying to create something grassroots. They want every little thing to create their own Tea Party since their original organizational muscle is weakening.

Pure guesswork on my part, though.

Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at October 05, 2018 04:43 PM (AzW6q)

415 I never cared that Lindsey Graham may be a homosexual, it was his quisling on basic conservative issues with that asshole McCain right next to him.

If Graham "came out" and was still kicking lefty ass like he has the last month, I'd be happy for him and would say, "GOP the big tent party!"

I'm far more concerned about how my senators vote than who they sleep with unless they are underage.
Posted by: Seems Legit at October 05, 2018 04:35 PM (jUVms)

========

One good result that may come out of this. A gay person who may have knowledge of Graham's habits might be annoyed at how forcefully he's supporting Kavanaugh, and so might out him, and then hopefully SC would primary him and elect a more conservative R.

And if he's not outed (ie. not gay), maybe he's on the path to learning to be more conservative because of how vile the Democrats behaved.

In any case, win/win.

416 327 293 287 This is awesome. Then I remembered how frail Ginsburg is and who is in the on-deck circle for SCOTUS...

She may not go the distance after this, I hope. Imagine Trump picking another one, lol.
+++++++++++
The Obamanites BEGGED Ginsburg to retire during his final term. She declined, instead rolling the dice on the 2016 election of Hillary Clinton, which she thought was a bet on 7. Trump snake-eyed her, and now she's rolling the 2-year dice on the grim reaper, perhaps 6-years if the Dems maintain their losing streak in elections.

She's seriously frail. Hell, the Kavanaugh confirmation alone could trigger her ailing health. With the Progressive effort on Kavanaugh, mortal assassination is the only available option on the volume knob, and if the GOP holds the Senate, not even that is going to stop a Trump nominee in the next two years.

It would require an act of Congress (both House+Senate) that is then signed by the President to increase the size of the court. The President would then get to nominate justices to fill those spots, which would go through the regular Senate confirmation process.

477 I think part of the Democrats' "strategy" here is that the money isn't where it should be. They used to be able to rely on the organizational skills and money of unions to help, but it's been hit, so they've gone overboard trying to create something grassroots. They want every little thing to create their own Tea Party since their original organizational muscle is weakening.

Pure guesswork on my part, though.

I think this is also a big part of the Planned Parenthood angle. Their PAC is a major Dem donor and because money is fungible, it is enabled by the government. Manchin gets this and rides the rail. He took KKK Byrd's seat so there are some, shall we say, expectations from the Mountaineers about him.

For all the sins of the people, and the grievances that came before this candidate that weren't believed, something pure and blameless -- unblemished -- has to be sacrificed, to balance the karmic scales of social justice I MEAN absolve the sins of everyone who came before.

So Kavanaugh, to Merkowski, a spotless sheep or dove, and she is willing to use the dagger for the sake of a religious sacrifice? What a twisting of Mosaic law. Isn't that what Satanism does?

I wonder where she stands in the org chart that has Bill, Hillary, the Podesta brothers, James Alefantis, Weinstein, Jeff Epstein, and many more of the hellbound on it. Is she the high priestess or something?

Like everyone else? OK, sure. You go first.

And Manchin wasn't the ONLY person who "took the country through theatrics." Relax. I'm not a fan per say, just pointing out a reality that many don't seem to get.

General Public second look at Palin? I mean, what the left did to Kavanaugh isn't that much different from what the left did to Palin in the 2008 News Cycle. Perhaps there are enough people that now understand how the Left operates to understand that Palin was Alininsky'd also?

676 478 If I were McConnell, I would do nothing about Murkowski until Election Night rolled around and it became clear whether or not the GOP adds to its majority. The second he knows he doesn't need her 51st vote anymore, pull her from every committee he can, starting with Appropriations. Do it that very night while the networks are still doing their election coverage, and immediately leak it to the press so that it gets attention on every channel. I want her punishment to be public and glaringly obvious.

T, oh this! I was thinking along the same lines, but you said it so much better than I ever could. A dish served cold. And I'll bet that McConnell has given her plenty of warnings that she refused to heed.

As my dad's mom said, "Those who won't listen must feel."

684 Wagon Wheels, we could get a really solid senator out of Alaska, one that will eat his pork and mind his business. But imagining the state is more right wing than it is is hiw we got Murkowski.

I say this as someone who has regularly been represented by congressmen who are the right extreme of their districts soI know you can push it a lot, but not too far. This is why Montana still elects Democrats. Alaska is a weird place and most people substitute myth for research.

Maybe but Murkowski lost the Republican primary to Miller. Murkowski, against all laws - because laws don't apply to dems and cronies, ran as a write-in candidate. She courted Dems and won.

It was all a farce.
