The Morning Report 7/28/17

McC.jpg

Good morning kids. I thought that my reservoir of bile and hatred for John McCain was completely drained after he and the other six crooked pieces of excrement spat in our faces. But then, even when given the opportunity to at least temporarily fool the American people with the sham of a mockery of two shams of a fig leaf of a joke of the "skinny repeal," the detestable, wicked bastard voted NO. All I can say with regards to him is to semi-quote Shakespeare, "oh Death, where is thy sting.... already?"

In other news, we have the continued dust-up over Anthony Scaramucci within the administration as well as the party, the FDIC being called to account for Obama's attempt to blackmail lending institutions (I'm sure they'll be complying straight away), Max-Scene Waters behaving like a rabid baboon sitting on an electric cattle prod and several other interesting and/or depressing essays to end a bloody awful week.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

An Obama official made hundreds of unmasking requests during the final year of the previous administration, according to a letter from a top Republican who raised new concerns that officials sought the identities of Trump associates in intelligence reports for improper purposes.

McCain took the responsibility to vote no to protect his friends in the moderate wing like Lindsey (who would have voted to kill the bill if they didn't have the option of letting a dying man take the vote for them).

McCain is to blame, surely, but alot of others are as well.

No, seriously, while it's startling that the 1940's are 70 years ago, it's not like there have been any massive new discoveries about female plumbing during that time. It says far more about the people startled that their grandmothers knew how the body worked than it does Disney.

101 Obamacare's "Independent Payments Advisory Board" isn't in effect yet. That's a 2018 thing. It's the Death Panel that we've all been told about, dressed in sheep's clothing.

And, initially, it really is a sheep. For now. It will take awhile before it has the same power as the National Health did to not only deny Charlie Gard further treatment, but to even deny him the right to die at home.

This is what John McCain is forcing down our throat, after lying and saying he opposed it.

Why doesn't the Senator take a dose of his own medicine and have Britain's National Health tell him the care he, as an octogenarian, would get for his brain cancer - and then follow their "prescription?"

C'mon, "Maverick." C'mon "Hero." Let's see you follow the path that you are shoving the rest of us down.

Or, instead, are you going to use every drop of the health care that Senator's get?

Actions speak louder than words, "Hero."

133 I'm sure someone will be along straight-away to tell us how this all shows the Republican Party is more super-duper conservative than ever and that for us to turn our backs on them now would be counter productive. Aaaaany second now, no doubt.

The befuddled, over-regulated, over-bureaucratized mess that is the US healthcare "system" is on death's door and a couple of useless scrunts and an old fart, long past his sell-by date and looking for an opportunity to shiv the President, just finished it off. Well, them and every single CONgressional democrat, too.

Every. Single. Fvcking. One.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Evidently these pols feel they have nothing to lose by keeping the putrid stench that is Obamacare around until it collapses under its own weight (as designed) and ushers in our glorious era of having the same people who run the VA and Medicare running the healthcare "system" for the rest of us (again, as designed). Because anyone thinking that the collapse of FredoCare is going to usher in a new appreciation for market-based heath delivery systems is Democrat-level delusional.

There will be absolutely no retribution visited upon Suzie Q (D-ME) and MurCokeBear (D-AK) and certainly not McVain and that, defenders of the party, is why I'm done - D. O. N. E. - with the GOPe. I'm with Trump, at least for now. http://tinyurl.com/y9a2ovjx

A taste --
"Instead of dutifully pretending to enjoy the hot dog that is the
unavoidable price of campaigning at state fairs, while actually longing
for arugula, endives and quinoa salads, candidate Trump positively
relished his frequent stops at Domino's, KFC and McDonald's, where he
went for Big Macs with a large order of french fries. That was an
offence almost up there with crotch-grabbing for foodie Republicans such
as the widely cited David Frum, who persistently argued that it was
better to have a very imperfect Clinton in the White House than an
impossibly vulgar Trump."

As others have said, "Donald Trump was our way of asking nicely."

The middle class has been being destroyed for 20+ years--and all the Democrats and the Republicans care about is the very rich and the very poor.

So I was thinking, couldn't the GOP purge these democrat senators? And then I realized doing that, the majority in the senate would then revert to the Democrats again.

The democrats have the best of both worlds. They have infiltrators in the GOP that throw crucial votes, and the GOP gets the blame for it. Drive the impostors out of the GOP and the democrats have the majority again.

Another hot dog incident the plane survived but came back dragging power lines.

He allegedly stayed behind in Vietnam when they offered a chance to leave ... (others question that as well) At least he served I guess, but somehow it seems likely without the admiral dad he would have lost his wings after the two incidents.
So I guess now they will fine me for not buying insurance. Insurance for me and the two illegals that get funded by skyrocketing my rates to over $10K per year, plus the $6500 deductible (zero deductible for the illegals I'm forced to cover). About 20 years ago or so, I listened to John McCain several times and largely thought he was a good and thoughtful man. He was slid down that slope rapidly since then, but now I see him as completely irrational and spiteful. My step-dad was like that as he slid into dementia. I know that's purely anecdotal, but when things are literally going haywire in your brainl, you are in no condition to be making decisions that affect 300 million people. Heck - my step-dad can barely find his shoes. And he used to run a large corporation. Time for him to go to the home.

336 Not interested in games, but the biggest achievement is that Hillary is out. If that doesn't count, well, we're speaking different languages.
I also note thousands of FedRegs dumped on the nation during Obama's reighn of terror being stricken on a near daily basis, illegal immigration taking an incredible nosedive, real economic change coming to many areas, and more.
And that's not even counting change on the international level...
Posted by: Anon a mouse... at July 28, 2017 08:26 AM (MINbv)

That is you literally not answering my question at all. Also I am not playing a game, I am trying to get you to support your position with something other than numbers.

Speaking only for myself, I do not find Hillary being out as being due to a single thing that the GOP did. From what I can tell, most of the GOP actively worked against Trump getting the nomination and then winning the election. I will say this, however, it does appear that Preibus, for all we slam on him, did provide excellent voter information to Trump. Good on him. But apart from that, the GOP was not a factor in Trump's election.

Hillary being out has nothing to do with GOP control of the House and Senate. As in literally nothing. That was the doing of the voters.

The regulations have only been overturned since January 20, 2017 and the overwhelming majority of those were done by executive order which, once again, has nothing to do with the GOP exercising its powers under the CRA. Yes, yes, I, of all people, am aware that Congress has remembered in 2017 that the CRA is a thing. But most of it has come from Trump.

Illegal immigration taking a nose dive, is, again something that has happened only post Trump and has nothing to do with Congressional action.

Please set out for me in detail what steps Congress has taken to advance economic change. That right there is absolutely not a trick question.

Change on international level again is Trump.

You are the proponent of the numbers game defense. It is up to you to provide support for your position. Also, I note that you are focusing only on post-Trump. The numbers upon which you rely go back to 2010. Set out what happened from 2010-2016 legislatively on the Federal level due to Republicans gaining control of the House and Senate.

"Even a developer very fond of fast food at its worst, and who enjoys
boasting about his crotch-grabbing, is still a developer, who very
naturally thinks in six-year blocks from site scoping to finance to
design to construction and disposal, as opposed to the two-year horizon
of American politics. That is why Trump registered his "Make America
Great Again" slogan in 2010, six years in advance of his planned
campaign, and why he is now focused not on the next mid-terms, but on
the 2022 mid-terms, after his 2020 re-election, because it is only then
that he can launch his daughter's candidacy, while serving his own last
two years in office.

No
wonder that leading Democrats and non-Trumpers continue to act
hysterically even eight months after the election. President Trump's
plan threatens to exclude them all from office until long past their
retirement age."

I guess they're going to be like the illegals and eventually everyone will start saying their towns and cities are crawling with them.
=======

Oh, darling. Come to Cleveland. The house across the street from me is for rent, again. The other day, I see a black Muslim woman in full garbage bag, sitting in a car furiously scribbling down what I assume was info about the house.

Half of everything on the main drag from which my street comes off is all in Arabic, the other half in Spanish. The house I live in belongs to my roommate and I keep dropping subtle hints that the neighborhood will be unrecognizable in under five years.

But never fear, I have 73 secluded acres awaiting me in the future. Those, in my mind, are the days worth living for.

He has been a disloyal, backstabbing prick for years. Add his thievery and corruption (Keating 5), and we are left with the unavoidable conclusion that John McCain is exactly who he seems.

Yes, it is heresy to question a man's military service. But a leopard can't change his spots. I would not be surprised at all, if in 20 years we discover that his time as a POW was not quite what the Navy has claimed. Remember, his father was an admiral. It would have been catastrophic had anyone less than a hero emerged from the Hanoi Hilton.

Did he back-stab any of the other POWs? Hopefully we will find out one day.

We all have been lied to. Their "repeal Obamacare" votes during Obama's term was all bullshit. Their statements that they had a better plan and they just needed to be given the WH to pass it was bullshit.

At the point where if we just let a Dem win their seat just to get them out of office -would we be any better/worse off? They behave just like Dems. Spend just like them. So what's the harm?

The downside? Getting a Supreme Court Justice through. But I am at the point that if that is the only reason to put/keep Rethugicans in control of the Senate, this country is lost already.

454 I know I'm supposed to be mad at 3 senators by name, thus letting the others off the hook.

Sorry, I can't do that. I wouldn't doubt that the GOP caucus decided in private which Senators would be allowed to scuttle it, no matter what "it" was.

Let's see. A dying man who'll pay no price politically. A woman who can win in her state as an independent funded solely by outside sources, and an old lady who's so entrenched they'll need to saw her out of her spot.

That gives cover to the rest? Maybe in the old days, but I see them for what they are; The slow train to socialism, not the high speed rail of the Dems. They'll happily pull into the same station, just a little later in the day.

No, that was not Jose Padilla, Jose went to an al Qaeda camp and came back to conduct a potential dirty bomb campaign in Chicago. It is Hussein Hashem al Husseini, Iraqi Republican Guard veteran who was "cleared" of his involvement in the Murrah bombing, because he was supposedly 13 miles away making a rental house ready. If he was that far away from the bombing, why did the FBI interview him?

Posted by: The Mouse that Roared, Americans don't Serf at July 28, 2017 09:31 AM (DxWUs)

486 133 I'm sure someone will be along straight-away to tell us how this all shows the Republican Party is more super-duper conservative than ever and that for us to turn our backs on them now would be counter productive.

I fully expect Trump to continue to be a mixed bag but I know what I'm getting with him and at least he's attempting to get our front and lead while the CONgressional "leadership" demonstrates they are utterly incapable of doing their jobs - again, with precisely zero price paid.

505 The thing is that a Post-Christian America appears to be a post-conscience America.

After centuries of torturing on another for the way that we witness our faith in God, Christians learned that honest witness of God cannot be compulsory, and so you must let the man speak, to his condemnation or to his testimony.

But in the annals of human herding history, the authority does not need your opinion. It does not need your witness. And there is nothing you can say to an expert that they can't hear from another expert. You gotta' stop believing in fairy tales like the provision of God to make everybody (who can be used) a distributed vessel of God's wisdom. The probability that Joe Dumbass is going to say something instrumental to the experts is approaches zero--especially the more Joe Dumbass shows that he resists the council of experts!!!

Tell me this is not the trend. It's becoming that the same "wall of separation" that Jefferson cited as "this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience" is now a general empowerment of government to neglect that same conscience as "ungovernable" and "chaotic" (i.e. not orderly, not regular). As when the government plans to distribute abortifacients by the ordering employers to distribute these things to their employees, and the levied agent of government distribution balks.

The secular governments have shown over and over in the modern age: they don't need your input. They don't need your opinion. They need you to be units of comfort to transsexuals and distribution agents of trans justice. Yes, you will learn to use the words "a woman's dick" if we tell you that such is the only way to avoid "discrimination" of our precious Ts. And you will date them if we shame you and find a way to make it a hate crime if you don't.
