Alec Baldwin, Like His Hero Barack Obama, Does Not Care if that Woman Has Cancer

MSNBC has apparently fired Alec Baldwin over his gay-baiting insults of a papparazzi.

Still on the payroll, as @benshapiro and others point out: Martin Bashir, who recently suggested truly vile things be done to Sarah Palin.

But Sarah Palin isn't a core demographic for MSNBC, so Game On.

Alec Baldwin is a horrible, horrible person. You knew that, I'm sure. But you probably wouldn't have guessed it would come to this:

“The decision has been made. He’s gone,” an insider at the cable channel told me. “The [parent company] Comcast guys have decided. Word is spreading through the building.”

Baldwin’s dismissal was decided on partly because of his diva-like behavior toward co-workers, a source said.

Besides demanding a humidifier because he claimed the air at 30 Rock was too dry, Baldwin alienated staffers when he demanded a separate makeup room being used by a woman with cancer who is sensitive to hairspray.

When Baldwin was told he couldn’t have his way, he allegedly bellowed at the top of his lungs, “I don’t give a f - - k if she has cancer or not, I want that f - - king makeup room.”

Baldwin's career has been over for a while -- yes, he was okay on 30 Rock, but few watched that -- but this should be the final nail in the coffin.

I imagine Sylvester Stallone will try to get him for The Expendables 4 (if the third one makes money).

But Alec Baldwin was never really an action movie star. And it's going to be kind of hard to play a Tough Guy Action Hero when your two most famous quotes involve, first, calling your young daughter a "thoughtless little pig" because she didn't call you when you were expecting, and two, screaming things like this:

“I don’t give a f - - k if she has cancer or not, I want that f - - king makeup room.”

Yeah, it's hard to really project the Action Hero persona when you're screaming about a make-up room and not caring about whether the woman using it has cancer or not.

You can't even credibly play a Tough Guy Action Villain, either. The guy who played Hans Gruber was never widely quoted as saying, "Get me some f---ing mascara STAT because I want my g--damn eyes to f---ing POP!!!"

Meanwhile, Obama also doesn't care if that woman has cancer or not.

[Debra] Fishericks is (a) fighting kidney cancer, (b) loves her soon-to-be-canceled employer-based coverage, (c) can't find an affordable policy on Obamacare's exchange that allows her to keep her doctors, and (d) tearfully frets that the new regime will be so punitive and expensive that she won't have enough money to visit her beloved grandchild. A genuine parade of horribles. Fishericks' experience shreds four core promises of Obamacare: She can't keep her plan, she can't keep her doctor, she can't afford the new options, and she falls beyond the administration's "five percent" deception. She's one of the millions who will lose their group coverage status over the next few years.

61 I don't know if this is O/T or not:

My sister died an hour and a half ago.
I talked to her a week ago, and she neglected to tell me she was in hospice.
Her husband told me she then went downhill quickly after that, and got to the point where she could no longer speak or respond to people.
When you get to that point, "endeavoring to persevere" is more unpleasant than the alternative, so it's with mixed emotions that I post this.

We were "estranged" -- I hadn't talked to her in 10 years for multiple personal reasons.

This would have been a classic "death panel" case, though, because it appears everything went back to intravenous drug use from 40 years ago, which nobody but me knew about (everyone else involved is already dead).

She'd been married 21 years to a guy who straightened her out.

At least, that's what North Carolina Democrat Senator Kay Hagan
is doing. She, like most of her colleagues, promised time and again
that you'd be able to keep your plan if you liked it. A reporter from
ABC 11 in Raleigh asked her about this, and her answer is pretty
amazing.

"You know," Hagan said" You look back at the insurance
companies. For three years [they] sold these policies without telling
the consumer that they would have to be cancelled."

Basically, what Hagan is saying is "Don't blame me. Insurance
companies never told you I was lying, so my lies were allowed to be
presented as fact. Therefore, all of this is the insurers fault. They deceived people by letting them believe Democrat lies."

Her husband told me she then went downhill quickly after that, and
got to the point where she could no longer speak or respond to people.

When you get to that point, "endeavoring to persevere" is more
unpleasant than the alternative, so it's with mixed emotions that I post
this.

We were "estranged" -- I hadn't talked to her in 10 years for multiple personal reasons.

This would have been a classic "death panel" case, though, because
it appears everything went back to intravenous drug use from 40 years
ago, which nobody but me knew about (everyone else involved is already
dead).

She'd been married 21 years to a guy who straightened her out.

88 Then all the other cops hire a guy to frame them for a crime so they'll get fired, but they accidentally hire a hit man. The cops realize their mistake, but don't really care about it too much since the price is the same either way. The hit man also offers to punch Janeane Garofalo in the head for an extra $5 (but the cops turn him down). Gerard Depardieu plays the part of Olbermann's stepdad.

93 I think people underestimate how much we can pressure Comcast.

Comcast is vulnerable.

Comcast is no longer just the owner of the "dumb pipes" carrying stuff over their cables.

Comcast is a content producer. They own NBC. They own NBC Sports.

But their content is not where they make their big $$. Their big money is from their cable monopolies.

Comcast is vulnerable to a long pressure campaign. To give up producing anti-American, anti-Christian bigoted, leftist programming so as not to threaten their cash cows.

MSNBC then added a *cough* and made a jerkin' off motion.

123 Before Film and Television, Actors were the lowest of the low, fit only to consort with thieves, gamblers, prostitutes and bums.

Not entirely correct. It was women who were thought of as basically prostitutes but by the Victorian time that stigma has lessened and women like Ellen Terry and Maud Adams were lionized and were men like Edwin Booth (brother of John Wilkes). If you were the upper class you wouldn't want your daughter to become an actress but all classes eagerly went to the theatre if you could afford to.

130 BlueStateRebel's Wingnut Fairy Tales, Chapter One:

Once upon a time there were three thoughtless little pigs, and the time came for them to leave home and seek their fortunes.

The first thoughtless little pig built his house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do. The second thoughtless little pig built his house out of sticks. The third thoughtless little pig built his house out of bricks

One night, Alec Baldwin, who loved to eat little piggies, came and knocked on the first door. "Let me in you thoughtless little pig, let me in!"

"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin" said the first piggy.

"Then I'll HuffPo and I'll HuffPo and I'll blow your house in" And then Alec Baldwin blew the house in and ate the piggy.

Alec Baldwin came to the second door and said "I don't give a fuck if you want to live or not, I want that fucking delicious pork!" And he blew down the house and ate the thoughtless little pig.

Then Alec Baldwin came to the door of the third pig, named "Phil Griffin".

"Let me in, little pig Phil Griffin, let me in or I'll blow down your door! And I want a better fucking makeup room too!"

And the pig named Phil Griffin fired Alec Baldwin.

The End

173 It's astonishing how quick Comcast caved to leftist pressure about Baldwin. For something he said off aid, compared to what their hosts say on air that's 10x worse. But it does show they are vulnerable to pressure.

I think his vile screed was just a bit of cover they could use to boot his ass out the door. It's not like he's never had a very public, very vulgar, racist/misogynistic/homophobic rant before. They knew they were getting that when they hired him.

I'm fairly certain the REAL reasons he got fired were shitty ratings (because there is not a show on MSNBC that doesn't have shitty ratings) and diva behavior. When the best you can say about your lineup is, "Rachel Maddow only gets curbstomped by Megyn Kelly! She doesn't get curbstomped AND bitchslapped!" then there's no reason to hang on to an expensive blowhard who's going to cost you advertisers and get you lots of angry phone calls from militant gays.

Note, when individuals do a Ponzi scheme, they go to jail...

When the Government does a Ponzi Scheme, and call it Social Security, its not only legal, but gets people elected.

Its like in Vegas, any Gambling that paid out as low as the Lottery, would be illegal...

Its like... its illegal to lie to Police, but not illegal for them to lie to you.

And if any Corporation said the things Obama said about Obamacare, they would already be indicted for Fraud.

====They have no reason to even care how much they lose on their political programing. In the U.S. you only need to swing an election by getting your pol 1 more vote than the other pol -- and every politician knows it.

These divisions are about owning the politicians by at least creating the belief that they can sway elections. Once you own the politicians, you own the taxpayers and that where the real money is.

NBC San Diego: http://tinyurl.com/olbsunb

A crowd of more than 100 people pelted Border Patrol agents with rocks and bottles as they tried to cross into the U.S. illegally, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The incident happened Sunday in the Tijuana River channel, near the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

According to CBP, a Border Patrol agent ordered the Mexican nationals to stop, but they continued walking into the U.S.

Officials said the agent fired a PepperBall Launcher, but it did not deter the crowd.

“They had their phones out so this group was out to spark an incident. That's what they wanted to do, “ Border Patrol Union representative Gabriel Pacheco said...

297 My idea for the Baldwin cop law. They catch a case involving murder. They spy a Tea Party member in the area and begin investigating him immediately. Dodging all three casts of the CSI shows, they ignore obvious clues to the real perpetrator until half way through the movie when they stumble over evidence that the Tea Party member could not possibly have committed the murder.

They pause a moment, look at each other then destroy the evidence and continue along. Happy ending, they are caught fabricating evidence againt the Tea Party member and sent to jail. Riding on the prison bus they express their astonishment that it is against the law to fabricate evidence against the Tea Party.
