A make believe world where if we could just get them to see or acknowledge us or our viewpoint they would behave normally, and report fairly.

They are deliberately doing this, they are not dumb. They have moved from the news business into the advocacy business which makes them propagandists. Hoping this isn't true, acting like they do not know exactly what they are doing is a waste of my fucking time and an insult to my intelligence.

Posted by: The Obsidian Owl at August 05, 2013 02:58 PM (tWmgi)

Ah, but there's the rub. They are thinking of their careers, too.

It's no secret the MFM is in the bag for Obammy, almost exclusively across the board. That's not just the reporters and columnists either. It's the executives and the editors and the publishers and the management. One little journalist or columnist trying to say, "this is bullshit!" doesn't just get to do it on their own. They have to get past their administration, too, all of whom have deep pockets and close ties to Obammy and his cronies.

The left does not endorse individual thought. You follow the hive mind or you're shunned. So you do what you have to do to keep your byline on the front page or your face in the evening news broadcast, and you don't make waves. The Obammy admin can make sure you never have access to the White House again, but your boss can make sure you never WORK again, except in some two bit local Penny Saver.

So, basically, we can surmise that even Ed Henry is fearing being cut if he goes too far in asking the regime too much. Ari must be astounded as to how hard his job was, as was the late Tony Snow and Dana Perino. They had to come to the conferences loaded for bear. 82 Jihadists In Sinai Using U.S. Weapons Against New Egyptian Government, Fire U.S. Hellfire Missile At Government Office

Ah, the consequences of gun running from Mexico to Libya to Egypt.

Via Fox News:

Jihadists in Egypt’s lawless Sinai Peninsula are using U.S. weapons to carry out attacks against the temporary government in the wake of the military’s ouster of President Mohammed Morsi, according to the embattled nation’s Interior Ministry.

The government office posted an official statement on its Facebook page along with images of an exploded missile that hit the third floor of a building in the city of el-Arish last week. The post said terrorist forces targeted the North Sinai Security Directorate office with a ballistic missile that struck the third floor facade of the building, leaving three soldiers injured. While attacks in the Sinai, which borders Gaza and is a haven for terrorist activity, have become commonplace, the prospect that militants have U.S. weapons typically fired from helicopters at their disposal is especially alarming.

152 Ed, if you are reading here, and we know you are, I am very disappointed in you. I am used to the rest of the mewling press corpse going along with the dialogue and plan, but I thought more of you.

In the event you may have missed it, read Jake Tapper's story on CNN last Friday re: the survivors of Benghazi. No one really knows how many, but the British press, within 48 hours, reported the Marines arrived from Tripoli expecting to rescue ten people and instead had over 30 to cram into the rental plane/helicopter or some flying machine they had to rent as they did not have their own plane due to the Secretary of State saying "no."

Some people think you can add to the 30-something number with the number of civilian survivors, bringing the number to over 60. I am quite sure the two reporters actually doing their job in your network, Catherine Herridge and Jennifer Griffin, know about this story. Perhaps you should, too, and actually stick your neck out, on TV, and ask the questions. Or, do you fear your job? Like the CIA survivors of the Benghazi attack who are reported to have been subjected to monthly polygraph tests as well as some witness protection and movement around the country. Guess that is not important? We would not want to ruffle feathers, would we? My respect for you can be redeemed. If there are threats against the press, perhaps some of the American people might want to know why an additional liberty has been washed away in the tsunami of this administration's echo chamber.

Just as I predicted. The Right falls for these false flags by the MSM EVERY FUC*ING time. Here's the routine: the MSM, to keep up a tattered facade of objectivity and rigor, finally covers a story adverse to the Left and that the Right has been clamoring for them to cover (though not in a way which editorializes the adverse angle, just reports certain events the MSM typically has not reported). The Right then goes into tizzies of jubilation and vapors of expectation of "the lid blowing off" and the "sh*t finally hitting the fan" and "the end of Obama." The MSM then goes stone cold silent. No follow up, nothing.
I'm beinning to think it's a diabolical strategy to demoralize the Right.

It's a vicious cycle. You start off trying to get stronger to keep up with younger players taking HGH. Then your head gets bigger, and you have to get stronger to hold your big head up. Then your head gets bigger!
The nightmare!

The first tip-off should have come when the Yankees' equipment manager ordered up all those size 17-3/4 batting helmets.

201 Still don't think PEDs are that big a deal. Some people naturally have higher levels of HGH and testosterone.

Players should be able to supplement up to whatever the natural upper limit is.

202 Here's the deal, Ace: If you ask an embarrassing or challenging question, you have to bring your own KY jelly for the next month. But if you don't, and if you "play ball" with Jay, if you catch my meaning, he will supply all the KY needed.

It's kind of a big difference.

204 1) figure out that print, network and cable news outlets are lying
OR
2) ignoring important events

==>

3) refusal to provide these agencies with further revenue to continue their useless activities.

4) proceed to gather information from overseas outlets and from trusted internet sites. - I just wish they'd figure out that they can't price their news like they used to price print news. The per page view price must be low enough to be inconsequential to the viewer so as to cause them to pay. bulk payments of a day or week or month are too expensive (for me) to consider. charge per view in cents. This will require some way to cheaply process these payments as normal debit/charge/paypal processing costs wipe out any profit. perhaps an account setup that you pay into and then your view costs are deducted from that. I could afford that as I wouldn't be only pay for the page views I actually made and not for content that I may or may not wish to read or need.

5) result: NYT loses money on sale of Boston Globe; Newsweek sells for a $1 and the LA Times is on the block.

This is called Business Model Fail.

Has ANYONE he's "investigated" on his media show been charged? Arrested? Convicted? Punished?

For any of their unlawful acts.

Or has it been just one big stall and an effort to quell the rank and file by the "appearance" of investigatory pursuit of truth but which is really just stalling for time?

Not about the multiple lie detector testing but WHY of the multiple lie detector tests. If this speculation is true, it just wasn't that big a deal. So, I ask, what is it that this Administration really doesn't want us to know?

I wonder if there isn't some truth behind the speculation that Stevenson was supposed to be kidnapped and held, unharmed, so that Obama could look like a hero when he negotiated him free. The Blind Sheik is involved somewhere also, I'm sure. Yes, a tin-foil hat conspiracy theory but so what? The left does this kind of thing all the time and, do you know, it feels SOOOOOOO good!

249 Stephen Hayes on FOX tonight asked the billion dollar question: "Why is the GOP not raising hell?" Why, indeed? I did not finish his sentence as you can fill in the black with multiple choice questions.

The answer has to be because they are thick as thieves in all this CIA/Benghazi/NSA/scandal of the day stuff. The story I read today of Boehner himself blocking questions makes sense. You have Rep Issa and Rep Gowdy and their hearings, with the slow drip.drip.drip of information squeaking through the keyhole of truth. This tiny molecule of news starts to spread and even the reluctant MSM picks up the storyline, burying it deep in their papers or barely giving mention...or blaming the CIA for the CIA bidness of gunrunning. Wait! There is a terror alert! Wag the dog! Close the embassies to be safe! Embargo and blockade the story on CNN last Friday bringing up that pesky Benghazi thing again!!!11!! Pave some new peace cheesewhiz between Egypt so they can keep getting their billions of dollars in aid, even though they hate us. Something is cooking to make Baroque look good (so he and Val think).

Problem is this story of their incompetence and lies in Benghazi is not going away...in spite of him promoting Susan Rice after her weekend of lying about a video. She knows all, and this promotion was to keep her at bay.

Someday maybe other reporters will view their jobs as important, to tell the truth and not spread propaganda. There may be a few who are unafraid and realize their job to tell the truth is important. The rest? Maybe their families are threatened. Maybe their lives or reputation are threatened from NSA and the spying on journalists----which blows my mind that they would still be loyal to this administration after that nugget of spying on the AP. Maybe a reporter is faced with his history of playing swords at camp while skinny-dipping in the lake and he fears being homoprobed. Heaven knows what is in the water up there in DC, where fear and flop-sweat are pungent in the atmosphere as soon as you enter the airspace and fly along the Potomac. God knows our forefathers are spinning so much in their graves that Al Gore should harness them for an energy source.

None of us have seen this in our lifetimes. I think Europeans who lived through Hitler's campaign did see this. Others who lived in dictatorships have seen the beginnings of the loss of freedom here, and some voiced this prior to the election.

Indeed, where are our elected representatives? I say call their sorry asses after Labor Day, have your list ready of complaints, from Benghazi, IRS, NSA, Fast and Furious, etc, etc, etc. Call them. Complain. Write letters. Then do it again the next day and the next. Make them work for a change. Let the GOP know you are over their complicit behavior as they apparently share the guilt. Hell hath no fury as a ChristyBlinky lied to. Marco, can you hear me now?
