Moron Science

A peer-reviewed study comparing/contrasting the effectiveness of various lubricants in easing the pain of having Comprehensive Immigration Reform jammed up America's collective squeakhole. In descending order of effectiveness:

1. Astroglide

2. Vaseline

3. Spit

4. Nothing (control group)

5. Assurances that "Hispanics are a natural GOP constituency, and will rocket conservatism back into the White House for the next 50 years"

6. Sand

A bipartisan group in the House of Representatives has been working on its own version of legislation to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws...

The current agreement includes W-Visas, a program for low-skilled year-round temporary workers, capping it at 200,000 visas annually and limits the number of visas available to construction occupations at 15,000 annually.

Republicans are pushing several options to increase the number of construction visas available: making those visas a percentage of the overall W-Visas, rather than imposing a hard cap; making it easier for employers who still face labor shortages after the quota is met to use a “safety valve” exemption to bring in more foreign workers; and creating a returning worker exemption, in which those workers are not counted under the cap.

http://tinyurl.com/cwtud65

And this is our side negotiating to "limit" immigration.

Doomed.

Where I work, there is a woman that is a contract cleaner. Comes in evenings, empties wastebaskets, vacuums, that sort of thing. She has been doing it for we'll over five years. Spends the whole time yapping away in Spanish (maybe Portugese) on her cell.

109 Thomas Sowell explains why focusing on illegals when doing immigration reform is so wrong:

"Most laws are meant to stop people from doing something, and to penalize
those who disregard those laws. More generally, laws are meant to
protect the society from the law breakers.
But our immigration
laws are different. Here the whole focus is on the "plight" of those who
have broken the laws, and on what can be done to lift the stigma and
ease the pressures they feel, so that they can "come out of the shadows"
and "normalize" their lives."
I'm sick of them demanding it is our responsibility to fix the self-inflicted pain felt by people who entered the country illegally.

116 79 It's hard to believe Rubio was so fucking stupid as to throw away his political career assuming Obama and Napalitano would work with him in good faith on immigration. What the fuck was he thinking?
-
1. Money. Politicians rake it in when they retire, if they have the right friends. Rubio just signed up with Mark (Weasel) Zuckerberg and friends. They're weasels, but extremely rich weasels.

2. Race. He identifies as Hispanic. He is favoring his (identified) race.

Part of the excitement over Rubio was that he was Hispanic. The assumption Ace and others made was that he would use his ascribed race for the benefit of conservatives. No, he used conservatives and is benefiting his ascribed race.

That is how it usually works out with the non-white identified messiahs. Some are great. (Justice Thomas.) Some are very good. (Any complaints on Alan West as a real conservative? Not from me either.) Most go with their own, and "their own" votes Democrat 4 times out of five. So the average result is bad.

if you strip away the text that is in parentheses, and just read the non-parenthesized text, it is all just parables and shit.

For example:

"Had we sent this Koran to a mountain, you would have seen the mountain prostrated in fear of Allah.
(Mocking the God of Moses)"

You have to interpret the "sending Koran to a mountain" phrase to think that it represents a mockery of the God of Moses, but at face value, it doesn't look like it is. It could be, but at face value, it isn't a direct insult.

That's all my point is.

I somewhat disagree with this. A law that is not enforced is hardly a law. This society has given them a wink and a nod for too long, that's the problem. There's two sides to the law-breaking coin, the employers who hire illegals have committed the more egregious crime IMO.

Here's my immigration plan: pick a date, say, 6 months from now. By this date, all employers must report illegals working for them. Those reported will receive work visas, but can NEVER attain citizenship. After this date, any company found hiring illegals loses their tax license.

I agree with you on this point, but islam is so pervasive in indoctrinating its adherents that it is very difficult to get to the essence of what was said. Words as interpreted by those raised in the remnants of a Western Judeo-Christian environment, may be interpreted quite differently by those raised in a different all encompassing philosophical system.

I know this is overly simplistic, but try several iterations of a really good machine translation program of a metaphorical concept, and you should get a glimpse of what I mean.

http://tinyurl.com/bpoa8a7

When people like Mark Zuckerberg and the Gang of Weasels put up big money to get their wan on issues like this, they think they can sway politicians who promised to their constituents they would never sell out.

The evidence suggests they are right.

Also, the mass media has been making working class white people - the great mass of "ordinary" whites - stink in the nostrils of society's elite for fifty years. And if any white wants to protect their own race from harsh political changes (like people of every other race look after their own), at best they're portrayed as Archie Bunker, but the default is: you're a Nazi who wants to kill six million Jews.

The result is no politician is socially embarrassed to sell out whites, the way they would be to harm the interests of blacks or any other race.

Whites are being sold out big time by mass immigration and forced assimilation.

And, I think some politicians, especially the ones that love the media like John McCain, take it further than that. They've absorbed the media message that if you take the side of non-whites against whites, you are a hero. The conservatives with that attitude don't respect their white conservative base. The would like a cool, socially acceptable non-white base like the Democrats have. And they are helping to import one.

153 @chemjeff: Part of the confusion may be that Islam is just so inimical to our values in so many ways, it seems inherently insulting, whatever the intentions.

"There is no God but (name)" doesn't matter, because a sincere truth-seeker can call Him Clyde and find Him, but the insistence on a particular name, like the insistence that there is one prophet, that's the first clue of exclusivity (definitely NOT "co-exist"!) and intolerance. It's downhill fast from there.

Apologies to every "moderate Muslim."

***UPDATED: Walid Shoebat emails to say this is not a song or a prayer, but a Koranic recitation:

This is terrible. In other words, this Imam was saying that these soldiers are “going to hell” and their dead are going to “heaven”. Thats what this looks like.

By the way, this was not a “song” or a “prayer”, it was recitation from the Quran.

The PRAYER was actually at THE END, after the recitation was completed in which the Imam stops the Tajweed (chanting) of the Quran. THEN he starts praying for ONLY ONE DEAD PERSON, the MUSLIM.

He says “Allah have mercy on HIS soul and HOUSE HIM (only him, the Muslim) in the beautiful heaven”.

In other words, the prayer was ONLY for the MUSLIM and NOT for the NON-MUSLIM.

177 I'd also point out Mark Steyn noting something that I did at the time too: When Bush had an imam speak at the 9/11 memorial service the imam said something about hoping God would destroy evil (or something like that) but he didn't say whether the "evil" was terrorism or the U.S./the West. Whatever he said or however it was phrased, it sounded to me at the time (and to Steyn) that he was being wishy-washy with his phrasing and that called his statement into question. I seem to recall the imam was later found to have made some other questionable statements or have questionable associations but I can't recall them now so many years later.

Just for fun, I ask the AGW faithful what proportion CO2 comprises of the atmosphere. Most common guess: 5%. Only off by two orders of magnitude. But they're the Sciencey ones.

Out of ten thousand panes of glass, four of them are CO2.

The imam recited these verses to remind his real audience of Q. 59:1-2. That is something like "praise God... it is He who expelled the infidels of the People of the Book from their homes during the first assembly".

Yeah, he was calling our troops "companions of the Fire" and owners of a Book wholly inferior to the reciting of suras.

That's it.

The Gang of Weasels are selling two assumptions, not one.

1. Hispanics are totally natural conservatives. Trust them.

2. It's totally OK for American whites to be crushed by mass immigration and forced integration, because it's worth it if the mass immigrants vote Republican.

Assumption 1 requires you to be an idiot. Hispanics are rock-solid Democrats. They vote Democrat as much as Asians do.

Assumption 2 requires you to believe that unlike every other people on the planet white people have no value and it's fine to impose policies that will guarantee that those people won't exist in future (technically that's known as "genocide") in return for more GOP votes. Assumption 2 requires you to have no heart.

216 The basic problem in America today is that those in power by and large are either Progressives, friendly to them, or more afraid of them than you.

It is the last you must work on, while keeping virtue intact. You must make them understand there is no longer a path of least resistance (except, I suppose for them to retire outright from the contest if they desire to).

Progressives do not yield. You must not either, and you must be willing to carry the conviction to its logical conclusion, so as to make the other side they will gain no cheap and easy victory solely by stamping their feet and pouting and making life miserable for all until they get their way. You must make it clear that instead of that occuring, the nation can break up instead.

226 BROTHER OF TOP OBAMA OFFICIAL ABOUT TO OUST BENGHAZI REPORTER SHARYL ATTKISSON?

by JOHN NOLTE 11 May 2013, 7:33 AM PDT 17 POST A COMMENT
Saturday morning Patrick Howley of The Daily Caller dropped another nuke on the fire that is Benghazi-Gate. Howley connects the dots surrounding a number of recent leaks coming of out CBS News about the fate of its award-winning investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson.
From the beginning, Attkisson has been one of the few mainstream journalists willing to dig into the September 11 terror attack in Libya, and the Administration's response to it. Fearing the story might lead exactly where it did yesterday with Jonathan Karl's bombshell report, the mainstream media has poured most if its energy into wishing the story away or playing Palace Guard for the White House.
Attkisson's dogged pursuit of the truth has not only pitted her against a media desperate to protect Obama, but also, apparently, against her bosses at CBS News, one of whom is the brother of a top Obama official.
Moreover, CBS News president David Rhoades is not only the brother of President Obama's national security advisor, Ben Rhoades, but ABC News reports that Ben Rhoades was very much involved in the editing of the now-infamous CIA talking points.
So…
1. According to ABC News, Obama's national security advisor Ben Rhoades was deeply involved in the editing of the CIA talking points.
2. These same CIA talking points are central to what many believe is a White House coverup.
3. Ben Rhoades is the brother of CBS News president David Rhoades.
4. At CBS News, Sharyl Attkisson is one of the only mainstream media journalists with the dogged determination and moral courage to demand the truth about the White House's involvement on the CIA talking points.
5. For months now reports have surfaced that Attkisson's bosses are unhappy with her, that she has trouble getting her Libya stories on the air, and that she's being accused of engaging in "advocacy."

230 I think the problem is the GOP has two options:
1. Deal with their current base of conservatives, there by running on and enacting conservative policies even though the party and it's elites have no interest in those policies. They actually run counter to what a political party would normally be inclined to do.
2. Import a vast new pool of potential voters and move the party left to attract them. They be a replacement pool of voters for the fleeing conservative.

Either way the elites are convinced that they are going to end up being a minority party. and i think that realization is key. Sticking with conservatives = minority party but having to put up with conservatives. Amnesty = minority party but new voters who can be bought by free shit. no fucking push back on pork and spending freeing them to behave like the party of government that the GOP was from Lincoln to FDR. The GOP isn't suddenly suicidal, they are convinced they terminally ill and just choosing how to check out.

They sure have come a long way from Gemini 9, haven't they? That was in 1966 and was the first planned long-duration spacewalk. Gene Cernan got fatigued and his faceplate fogged so that he was practically blind. The EVA had to be cut short without achieving its main objectives.

http://www.astronautix.com/flights/gemini9.htm

(Scroll about halfway down for the description.)

Michael Collins also had problems with EVA on Gemini 10, as did Dick Gordon on Gemini 11. With lessons learned, it was Buzz Aldrin who performed the first fully successful EVA on Gemini 12.

257 "Rubio just signed up with Mark (Weasel) Zuckerberg and friends. They're weasels, but extremely rich weasels."

Yep. Zuckerberg's new political action group set up to benefit Rubio is called "Americans for a Conservative Direction".

Pop quiz. To whose houses does Obama come on every Northern California visit to collect fat checks? Answer: Mark Zuckerberg's house and Sheryl Sandberg's house. Yeah, those Farcebook execs are highly conservative types right there. Bet the farm on it.

"Part of the excitement over Rubio was that he was Hispanic. The
assumption Ace and others made was that he would use his ascribed race
for the benefit of conservatives. No, he used conservatives and is
benefiting his ascribed race."

And what's even worse is that Rubio himself is too dumb to realize that in a post-amnesty world, he as a Cuban "Hispanic" won't be the ultimate beneficiary.

All of those newly legalized illegals? They are going to be predominantly Mexican. And Mexicans barely consider Cubans to be Hispanic. Hell, some Mexicans barely consider Cubans to be human.

Mexicans will vote for Mexicans. As will Guatemalans vote for Guatemalans, Salvadorans for Salvadorans, et cetera. If you think America is ethnically fractured now, you ain't seen nothing yet.

I'm feeling doomy today.

I'm going to vote in Austin which makes me a 15%er here. And most of that 15% is going to vote for about a billion $ in bond spending, because it is for the children. Property taxes are already high, and only going higher, and I can't sell this old house because I can't afford to upgrade it to newest energy and handicap regs. I hate our California import city council.

Cons could take control of this city if just a few more would get off their ass and vote in the local elections.

265 "What is interesting is that this exact same thing is also happening in
Europe. It seems that whites are the only race that are not allowed to
have a 'native homeland'."

Not so. The Japanese have so far successfully resisted the notion that their country must throw wide the doors to admit the rest of the world's scum, losers and freeloaders.

Fifty years from now, Japan will still be recognizably, uniquely Japanese.

You won't be able to say the same about, to pick another island nation, the UK.

Take a look at the per capita crime rate in Japan these days. Then look at the same figures for the UK. A hundred years ago they were roughly comparable.

That said, the Japanese are screwing up by not screwing. At least by not screwing procreatively. The demographic crunch they are going to run into by disallowing immigrants AND not having adequate numbers of kids of their own will be fearful indeed.

Hell, once Japan empties out for good, perhaps the white remnant from what's left of North America can flee there.

Or perhaps there will be a Japan which is populated predominantly by very old ethnic Japanese being cared for by AI robots.

271 Benghazi:

Something was so bad at Benghazi that if it came to light it would have cost Obama the election. And I am not accepting the meme that it was a terrorist attack, in that he could have weaseled his way out of it by saying it was Ansur al Sharia instead of Al Qaeda, and the press and his supporters would have given him a paass. SO something else.

They did not expect this to happen, so they had no cover story. I will bet there were little hipsters in the White House furiously searching the interwebs for something to use as an excuse in the wee small hours of the morning on September 12. The video is the best they could come up with.

I think Hillary wasn't the person ultimately responsible for Benghazi. If she had been giving bad orders on her own, Obama would have happily thrown her under the bus with a public firing immediately after the election. I assume her resignation means she would no longer comply with his orders, but would keep her mouth shut. I also assume Panetta left for the same reason, and furthermore I believe Petraeus self-immolated rather than comply. I also think this is why the weasel Brennan was sent to the CIA.

I am still waiting to find out the answers to the following questions:

Why, despite his asking for more security and knowing Benghazi was a dangerous place full of terrorists, did Stephens go to Benghazi with little security?

Who gave the stand-down order and why?

Where is Ambassador Stephens diary, last seen in the custody of Anderson Cooper and CNN?

280 215 "What is interesting is that this exact same thing is also happening in Europe. It seems that whites are the only race that are not allowed to have a "native homeland"."

Right. And also in Australia, where a quarter of the population is now foreign-born, and Islam is becoming a problem. We continued to import Muslims even after the Bali Blast!

So the rule is: wherever white people live there is a "race problem" and the solution is more diversity. The final solution to the "race problem" is when all and only white countries are flooded with non-white immigrants, and the whites assimilate with them so that whites no longer form an identifiable group anywhere.

It's not about "taking down the global hegemon" or anything. Not if even Australia and New Zealand need "diversity". It's about race.

215 "It sure seems to me that this is deliberate policy. But the elites who are implementing it are themselves largely white. I don't believe they are stupid. So what gives?"

They don't care. They're not stupid, but they have no loyalty at all, not even to their own posterity.

They think "he who dies with the most toys wins." They've sold their souls to the diversity crowd, for wealth and power, and after they die rich even their own children will be destroyed, and they don't care.

History is chock full of traitors. We may not be able to understand them. But we know there is never a shortage of them.

Ultimately their motives matter infinitely less than what they are doing. After Rubio is dead of old age, nobody will care why he did what he did. But the consequences will go on forever.

We should ignore the "why??" question, because it's only what victims ask villains in all ages, and there is never a satisfying answer. We should focus on stopping white genocide by mass immigration and forced integration.

And that begins just by telling everybody the truth. This is the situation. You can call me a racist, but the truth is still what it is.

If they wanted to get an ambassador kidnapped to trade for the blind cleric, what would they have done differently? The two seals were told not to get involved. No one would expect the ambassador to die from smoke inhalation, and the traitors in the WH would never expect heroes to die in the ambassador's defense.

The same thought crossed my mind when I read it. Standard islamic boilerplate. I didn't detect any specific insults against the Seals. And the service was held in Kabul, and there were Afghan National Army soldiers (presumably muslims) also killed, so you kinda had to have a muslim cleric to do his thing there.

If you told a muslim cleric to give a five-minute prayer without reference to infidels, he'd probably have a blue-screen crash.

Despite claims that the action was “initiated by low level workers in Cinicinnati” (implying that it was a local restricted issue), reports from the complainants show that the issue was a nation-wide problem applied to anyone who had “Tea Party” or “patriot” in their name, and the nationwide IRS review of such exemption claims was being run out of Cincinnati as a centralization point.

On the other hand, such groups as Media Matters and other “progressive” organizations were not subject to the same scrutiny.

286 While at the same time, Islam expert Stephen Caughlin gave a bit more background on the prayer, which is common at Muslim funerals:

“Even a standard prayer is actually a little bit offensive because … it comes from a book of the Koran or a chapter of the Koran that’s basically about defeating the infidels. And [in exploring the issue] I basically showed that there were two verses quoted in the funeral rite.

If you back it up one verse, it gives you the greater context of the fact that the people who are not Muslim are condemned to hell, by those prayers and so I basically showed that. So my point isn’t that the imam was deliberately inflammatory — my point was that it’s inflammatory even when they’re not trying to, because it goes to the issue of the fundamental and irreconcilable difference between Islamic orientation and a non-Muslim orientation.”

Above also from Andycanuck's link. My take on it is that this falls into the category of "what do you expect from a pig, but a grunt?" In other words, it's insulting to non-muslims, because that's how the koran rolls. It's a shitty book, and if you read from it, you get shit all over you.

Since the thread has already been Godwin's Lawed...

Hitler was also convinced of Japanese racial superiority. (It's in Ian Kershaw's Hitler biography, part II: Nemesis (after Hubris of course), among other books.) That is why he leapt on the opportunity to declare war on America after Pearl Harbor: he thought the Japs couldn't lose, because of their racial superiority, and he wanted to get with the strength.

Two points:

1. Remembering how evil Hitler was can make us lose focus on how totally insane he was. The dude was not in contact with reality as we know it. (He was still 100% guilty, of course, because he was 100% in charge.)

2. The identification of Hitler with "white power" / "white pride" came long after he was dead, as a way of smearing any white who defends white interests. (If you don't want mass immigration you must be a Nazi!)

In his own lifetime, the Fuhrer considered the Japanese a superior race, and practically everybody living East of Prussia, including Jews, Poles, Russians, Ukrainians and so on, as sub-human.

That meant a rather large proportion of all the people in the world who were white were also subhumans according to Hitler. That didn't bother him. He didn't respect the concept of "white" at all. You were of pure Germanic race or you weren't.

Which takes us back to point 1: Der Fuhrer was completely insane; not even an "evil genius" but just whacked in the head nuts.

People keep saying we should learn from Hitler's Germany. OK, the lesson is: don't let a completely insane homicidal maniac become dictator. Gee, isn't that useful to know?
