Bill Ayers: Why, My Terrorist Bombs Were Nothing At All Like the Tsarnaev's Terrorist Bombs

He compares his use of bombs to law-abiding hunting, as opposed to shooting up a mall.

Does he believe his bombs were legal? The only redeeming quality his bombs had was that they were poorly made. And one blew up as his girlfriend was playing with it and killed her. (She was a terrorist too.)

Also from @benk84, a reporter finally asks him about this:

There is no relationship at all between what Weather Underground members did and the bombings that two brothers allegedly committed on April 15 in Massachusetts, Ayers said in response to a reporter’s question. No one died in the Weather Underground bombings.

“How different is the shooting in Connecticut from shooting at a hunting range?” Ayers said. “Just because they use the same thing, there’s no relationship

...

The United States is the most violent country that has ever been created, Ayers said.

...

“To conflate a group of fundamentalist people [in Boston] who are nihilistic in some way with a group of people who spent their lives trying to oppose the murder of 6,000 people a week … and still the killing went on. And still the killing went on. What would you have done?” Ayers said. “There’s no equivalence [with Boston]. Property damage. That’s what we did."

...

Authorities said the bombs were intended to be used at a dance at the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey.

Then he continues asking how he's any different from John McCain.

Related: Jason Mattera asks Robert Redford, producer and star of a movie glamorizing and humanizing the Weather Underground terrorists, if he has any plans to give any of the film's proceeds to the victims.

Instead of spending life in prison, or if paroled, shunned by all society-

-he's rich, unapologetic, honored and feted by the leftards, and given a position to poison the minds of your children through education.

He will finally die of a ripe, old age having lived a 1% life all the while destroying the ability of you and your children to live a better life.

I suppose it's too much to ask that he contracts some incurable flesh-esting disease at this point and dies miserably.

Ah well, perhaps the afterlife has some surprises for little Billy Ayers.

That is why Bill Clinton's library looks like Brady Bunch gone wild. Redford is remembering when he was the hot young star of Butch Cassidy and later All the President's Men.

I am around the same age, and those years were nothing but misery. People were always either angry or frightened. Nothing about Ayers should be celebrated. He's a psychopath, proving my theory that all terrorists are psychopaths who use politics as an excuse to do violence on a large scale.

meanwhile, on PBS broadcast on the Colorado River, Redford demands that dams on the Colorado be removed and the river of fresh water through the Great Southwest be allowed to flow into the ocean where it belongs.

On the promotion of amnesty for domestic enemies at home who've terrorized the citizenry with bombs and shoot-outs, The Twilight Zone's Rod Serling is turning in his grave, having provided Redford his initial opportunities on screen acting. There is one important similarity (besides murder) that Ayers neglects to mention: that like the Boston bombers, he too is a Muslim. Ayers goes by the name "Abu Zayd," Arabic for "father of Zayd."

See: www.billayers.org/

This is in reference to the fact that Ayers named his firstchild after after "Black Muslim" cop killer Zayd Shakur (born James Costan) who had converted to Islam and adopted a Muslim name. Then Ayers named his second son Malik afterMalcom X.In other words, Ayers and his children all have explicitly Muslim names. My guess is that Ayers converted to Islam around the time of Zayd's birth.

151 OT but I have been getting tired of how every time someone in comments mentions Nakoulabeing a political prisoner we are told he violated parole so we are wrong.Glenn Reynolds know's a little about the law and here is his take.

But here are some further lines of investigation. Some Obama-defenders will note that Nakoula was jailed for probation violations, of which he may have even been guilty. But, as I note in my Due Process When Everything Is A Crime piece — to be published next month, in substantially revised and updated form, by the Columbia Law Review — prosecutors can always find a reason to put someone away if they really want to. The question is, why, exactly, were they so eager to put Nakoula away?

The fast-tracking of Nakoula’s jailing was highly irregular. Among other things, I’d like to see the Congressional investigators get Nakoula’s prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Dugdale — and perhaps his boss, U.S. Attorney André Birotte Jr. — under oath about communications from the White House or the Justice Department regarding this case.

Because what it’s looking like is that Nakoula was targeted and jailed so as to provide a scapegoat/villain in a politically motivated cover story that the White House knew was false. If that’s the case, it’s extremely serious indeed, and in some ways more significant than whatever lapses and screwups took place in Benghazi. I’d also be interested in hearing from Nakoula’s attorney, Steven Seiden, about any threats made by the government to secure a plea deal.

If there’s an impeachable offense anywhere in the Benghazi affair — and at this point, I’m not saying there is — it’s more likely in what happened with Nakoula than in the problems abroad, which by all appearances are simple incompetence, rather than something culpable. Railroading someone in to jail to support a political story, on the other hand, is an abuse of power and a breach of trust.

Ayers and Dohrn deserve to be kidnapped, tortured in the most agonizing manner possible and then killed. But they will continue to live safe privileged lives. And there is no hereafter, so justice will never be served.

Vastly more talented. But Redford was extremely handsome in his youth. Not quite as handsome as Newman ---who ever was?!? --- but in that ballpark.

Then they got older and Newman, aging naturally, continued to be handsome. Redford, OTOH, dipped himself into a mixture of orange dye, tooth-whitener, botox, and formaldehyde and now looks downright UGLY.

When the background check includes your last psych evaluation you will have to find another method other than a firearm. When the background check mandates that you have a psych evaluation prior to a firearm purchase, and when the DR. doing the evaluation depends on government payments to support his preferred life style.

In fact, that day will be full of terror for these people. It isn't something I would wish on anyone, but they're quite literally digging their own graves.

Do not let yourself fall into despair, MP4. The universe seems dark right now, but it is not so dark as to be without hope. Stay strong. >_< Do not let them destroy you. The entire aim of all this wickedness is to try to extinguish hope from the hearts of everyone on the planet. Matt. 24:12 in particular on this topic.

I wish we'd quit this meme. Leftists are sane, focused, and intent on a prescribed destruction of this country. They've made distinct choices of where their loyalties lay. They've chosen marxism/tyranny over the US Constitution and it's relevent freedoms. They want to rule and they'll do ANYTHING to do it.

I can't fuss too much with either of y'all assessments, except to say that Leftards only appear to be sane.

Marxism and its attendant branches depend on a theory, a deviation if you will, from Reality. That it has failed spectacularly and is still promoted speaks to the refusal of Leftards to acknowledge that Reality. Although the theory is relatively modern, its roots go all the way back to the beginning of recorded history.

At the root of Marxism lies the struggle of mankind throughout the ages to live free from the control of others. Marxism is merely the latest wrapper of that failed ideology.

Mature adults are perfectly capable of controlling themselves, recognizing right from wrong and living their lives according to the things they know are right in their hearts.

Another source briefed on the investigation had previously told CNN that Belmoktar had received a call in the aftermath of the Benghazi attack from someone in or close to the city. Whoever made the call was excited.

"Mabruk, Mabruk!" he repeated, meaning "Congratulations" in Arabic.

There is no proof the call was specifically about the attack, but the source says that is the assumption among those with knowledge of the call. One source says the phone call was discovered when a Western intelligence service trawled through intercepts of communications made in the wake of the attack.

So they had a video going out from Osama's second asking for an attack, they had a string of attacks since Operation Odyssey Dawn, and they had that evidence but--

271 President Barack Obama’s nominee for labor secretary Tom Perez is taking heat from New York City firefighters for his support of racial and gender quotas.

The Department of Justice filed a discrimination suit against the New York City Fire Department in 2007 because too few minorities passed the department’s entry exams. The DOJ cited the legal theory of “disparate impact,” which holds that even seemingly neutral criteria such as impartial exams taken by all applicants can be considered discriminatory if they disproportionately keep a protected racial class from receiving employment.

A federal judge in Brooklyn awarded $128.7 million to minorities who failed to pass the 1999 and 2002 exams in 2009. As head of the Department of Justice’s civil rights division, Perez—who since October 2009 has used his office to actively defend the theory of disparate impact—is helping defend the judgment against the city’s appeal.

Merit Matters, a group of New York City firefighters that has been critical of racial and gender quotas, slammed Perez and the DOJ for placing political correctness over the safety of firefighters and residents of America’s largest city.

Speaking of putting the looney left in power and in charge!

As it happens, I was booted off LGF back in the day for defending Pamela Geller, and have agreed with her on a number of issues since I first chanced upon her website.

That said, Pam and her erstwhile sidekick Robert Spencer have gone off the fucking rails. They see super-seekrit agents of the global jihad hiding behind every tree, rock, and bush. Accusing prominent conservatives such as Rick Perry and prominent fat men such as Chris Christie of being fellow travelers in the global jihad is just plain nuts. And the commenters on their respective sites--of whom I gather you're a proud member? You're nuts, too.

Another thing I've noticed about Pam's commenters, as well: there seem to be a larger than usual proportion of lonely sounding losers rushing to Pam's defense in every conceivable situation. News, playa: you're not going to get to sleep with her as a prize for running from site to site defending her honor. My advice? Go find a real girl in the real world. That real girl may say no, but at least you'd stand a chance.

I was in college during that era. People like Ayers were cowards, too afraid to actually stand up and be on the front lines, they let young kids that they turned into cult members take the heat. Was this disgusting piece of slime at Kent State? Did he ever get attacked by police dogs and thrown in jail at a Civil Rights march? No. He was sitting in hiding, making bombs that he could safely watch from a distance. I have more respect for the Boston bombers than Ayers, and that's less than zero.

It's one of the political perks of presiding over a bad economy. The commoners are too busy trying to feed themselves instead of paying attention to what's going on elsewhere. Hunger and economic desparation will narrow anyone's focus. Plus, the total inundation of the entertainment industry to fill whatever is beyond that focus, you know, to help the masses forget their true plite. Worked for FDR.

Hence, Dear Leader has almost cart blanche to do what he wants to do knowing that most of the population really won't care.

(Remember if they had a better recipe for Molotov Cocktails, they might have succeeded in killed that NY judge and his family.) Their lack of success was not for want of trying, but more a function of a dearth of technical (and perhaps basic chemistry) skills and know-how. Claiming that he is morally superior to the Boston bomber simply because his group was stupid and technically inefficient and only managed to kill and maim a handful of people sounds like cognitive dissonance to me.

'No one knows for sure but I think they were. And had
they carried [the bombing of Fort Dix] out it would have been a catastrophe. But
they didn’t and it didn’t happen. But what did happen is, on that same
day John McCain murdered civilians. Do we have any responsibility for
that? Should there be any reconciliation for that? Should he tell the
truth about it?'

- Bill Ayers, at the annual May 4th commemoration of the National Guard shootings at Kent State in 1970, 4 May 2013

Truth? You can't handle the truth, L-I-A-R.

6 March 1970: The day that the Greenwich Village townhouse, where 4 WU terrorists were building the bomb for Fort Dix, exploded.

26 October 1967: The day John McCain’s plane was shot down and he was taken as a POW, which he would remain until 14 March 1973.

When the bomb prematurely exploded in Greenwich Village,
John McCain had been a POW for 863 days (2 years, 4 months, and 9 days).
He would remain a POW for another 1,105 days (3 years, and 9 days).

John McCain, however much I dislike the man today, murdered NO
CIVILIANS on the day that the Weather Underground’s bomb exploded. HE WAS BEING TORTURED BY BILL AYERS' FRIENDS IN THE NVA AT THE HANOI HILTON.

Bill Ayers is a POS and a very lucky one at that. He should be in prison.

307 I'm probably too late for this thread, but just wanted to point this out. If you read about the 60s radicals, a number of them were Peace Corps volunteers. The Peace Corp helped radicalize them, as they felt guilty about how well off they were compared to those people.

And what did Tamerlan's wife want? She wanted to join the Peace Corp. I won't say that everyone that goes in or wants to go in is a terrorist in the making. I think that it does show a certain mindset, that can lead to hatred for the country they were raised in.

310 Any civilized person who, knowing Bill Ayers' history, remains in the same room with him instead of forcefully denouncing him and walking out, is either evil himself or is an accomplice after-the-fact to evil.

You will note that Mr. Obama and Terrorist Ayers worked together on the Annenberg Challenge; Obama also made his political coming-out in the Ayers residence. Mr. Obama had (and has) no apparent hesitation in dealing with this vile man.

Therefore Mr. Obama has no moral scruples; he accommodates if not abets evil. And from that, we KNOW the rest with absolute clarity: if Obama is COMFORTABLE with evil, it means he *IS* evil.

(Yes, everybody here already gets that Obama is "not what we want in a leader". But it's important to spell out the "why", step-by-step. We need the "absolute moral clarity" of why this man is not fit to be President. And because he consorts with evil, we MUST NOT accept this human piece-of-dreck as any kind of leader, ever, regardless of how glibly he recites his li{n}es. Whenever The Devil speaks, you MUST assume his words are lies.)
