| Puffy Faced Woman Who Hates Coal and Childbirth to Run for Senate In KentuckyIt's on like Donkey Kong, if Donkey Kong's face were all swollen due to eating bad shellfish. Ashley Judd has yet to officially announce her political aspirations, but a source with intimate knowledge of the situation tells FOX411's Pop Tarts column the actress is preparing herself to challenge Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for his Kentucky seat in 2014.To be honest I can't even tell the two of them apart. They both look like had a barfight with bees armed with Botox needles. People are recirculating her mots bouffes (Puffy Words) but no one's asking the important question: What's up with her face? She looks like she's smuggling something in her cheeks. Like Hatred of Children and Everything That Isn't Ashley. Here’s her exact words: THE PROBLEM WITH EXPANDING THIS IS THAT, YOU KNOW, WITH THE ADVENT OF PTSD, WHICH I THINK IS A NEW PHENOMENON AS A PRODUCT OF THE IRAQ WAR, IT’S NOT CLEAR HOW THE SELLER OR TRANSFER OF A FIREARM COVERED BY THIS BILL WOULD VERIFY THAT AN INDIVIDUAL WAS A MEMBER OR VETERAN AND THERE WAS NO IMPAIRMENT OF THAT INDIVIDUAL WITH RESPECT TO HAVING A WEAPON LIKE THIS. The simple fact that she thinks she can win an election in Kentucky shows how out of touch she is with Kentucky. True story - I attended the Kentucky Society of Washington's inaugural ball in 2008. This is a gala that is attended by anyone and everyone who matters in Kentucky politics. Ashley showed up with a couple of ladies-in-waiting (that's the most accurate way to describe them) She sat down at her table and never moved the entire evening. Her ladies blocked anyone from getting within 5 feet of her, no one was allowed to photograph her, and she left early. Now, keep in mind that Muhammad Ali and Evander Holyfield were also at this ball and stood for pictures and shook hands for two hours before the ball. Muhammad Freaking Ali. But not Ashley Judd, nooosirree. Posted by: rockmom at March 08, 2013 05:11 PM (Ea7Up) 44

Anyone who hasn't yet read Josh Trevino's account of touring in Africa for AIDS relief with Her Puffiness really should take the time.
Trevino had to pull it down after Her Puffiness's lawyers had a hissy fit, but you can still find bootleg copies here and there in the dextrosphere with a bit of Web searching. A more distilled essence of arrogantly entitled Hollyweird airhead you could never hope to read. It really rolls off the page like a brilliantly written satirical novel. Yet it is reality. And so is the thought that this person thinks she is fit for service in the United States Senate. Posted by: torquewrench at March 08, 2013 05:12 PM (gqT4g) 56

Oh for God's sake, she exploited her looks to make money. She didn't care then. And in fact expected jobs, money and notoriety for them (her looks). It's not like she was a great actress, she WAS pretty.
Posted by: mare at March 08, 2013 05:22 PM (A98Xu) What's your point? Because she was once pretty and made money because of it , its okay to make fun of her because she no longer has those same looks? Not a very good point. News of bad laws from the State of Maryland: --------- Wind energy bill clears Senate Measure goes to House; O'Malley 'elated' By Erin Cox, The Baltimore Sun 4:38 PM EST, March 8, 2013 Advertisement Click here to find out more! Gov. Martin O'Malley's plan to encourage development of a wind energy farm off the coast of Ocean City cleared a major hurdle Friday as the Maryland Senate passed the bill 30-17. The proposal, designed to spark an offshore wind industry by subsidizing its developer, now goes to the Maryland House of Delegates. The House has passed a similar bill but needs to consider minor changes made in a Senate committee. If the project is built, most utility customers would be charged an extra $1.50 per month to pay for the electricity it generates. Maryland already has several land-based wind farms in the western portion of the state. This session marks the third time O'Malley has tried to pass an offshore wind plan. O'Malley said Friday he was "elated" the Senate passed the bill. Yes. I think in an earlier thread about Ashley' views of God. From the way the comments were phrased it seems she was not very familiar with either the Bible
"The Bible only has male images of God" (WRONG) or early Christian history in which women flocked to the faith it was considered as treating women better than- say- the Roman religion did. In fact, so many women joined Christianity that some writer of the time said sneeringly. "It is a religion fit only for slaves and women." Judd is currently the magazine advertising "face" of American Beauty, an Estée Lauder cosmetic brand sold exclusively at Kohl's department stores, and H. Stern jewelers. In early 2012, however, her image suddenly disappeared from American' Beauty's web site.
In 2011, Judd co-starred with Patrick Dempsey in the film Flypaper. It grossed only $1,100 total in its theatrical release A disagreement between Judd and Indy race car driver Milka Duno took place during the 2007 Indy Racing League season. After the final race of the 2007 season, the actress stated to the assembled news media, "I know this is not very sportsmanlike, but they've got to get the 23 car (Duno) off the track. It's very dangerous. I'm tired of holding my tongue. She shouldn't be out there. When a car is 10 miles (an hour) off the pace, it's not appropriate to be racing. People's lives are at stake. Judd stirred controversy with comments describing hip hop music as part of what feminists describe as "rape culture", although Judd asserts that she was basing her comments on observation and was not intending to offend. On November 26, 2010, The Huffington Post published an op-ed by Ashley Judd titled "Costs of Convenience".[36] The op-ed is excerpted from Ashley Judd's trip diary from her trip to eastern Congo. Judd describes the link between her cell phone, laptop, MP3 player and e-reader and the continued rape and sexual violence in Congo. Posted by: Jones in CO at March 08, 2013 06:14 PM (8sCoq) 317

I think wearing headphones connected to a computer can be bad for your hearing. When there is no sound from video or music, there is a constant high-pitched whine in the background from, what I assume is, mobo signal leakage. And I already have tinnitus.
Posted by: Seriosu Cat A small amount of that is inevitable because there is no shielding on most sound card / mobo set ups. Try a different h-phone jack if you have an option. Also, after your next shutdown, open up the case, and reseat the power connectors and plugs. Further options, get a cheap sound card with SPDIF if you have an open slot. Then run it through your home theater system, or get a DAC (Digital to Analog Audio Converter )to connect your h-phones. Posted by: weft cut-loop at March 08, 2013 06:27 PM (/T+P8) 362

Posted by: HoboJerky, profit of DOOM! at March 08, 2013 06:19 PM (FsUAO) Seriously now, "clean coal technology" means burning coal with practically no smoke or fly ash. CO2 is not a pollutant, and does not need to be sequestered. Sequestration schemes are mostly shell games. It takes a great deal of energy to compress CO2 and pump it into the ground, so a lot more coal has to be burned to make the extra energy. Net result: more coal burned, a reduced rate of CO2 emission per ton burned, but more tons burned to deliver same mWhr to the customers. Modern coal plants now are so clean, that the only "smoke" you see is water vapor rising from the cooling towers. Maybe you have some legacy coal plants in your area that don't meet that standard, but the ones near me are super clean. And they are right on the mine site, so transportation issues are negligible. Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at March 08, 2013 06:29 PM (673KB) 365
The LPMEOH pilot plant was producing a gallon of methanol for under a buck from coal. Since it takes about 2 gal of methanol to make a gallon of gas's energy, that is still a HUGE WIN...
