Yet another O/T for people here that wanted Rick Perry to be our nominee last year. 116 Let's see if Toure can be stepped through this.

It would not have been so bad if--

The Oscar's had not been hosted by Seth MacFarlane-

DNC donor to the tune of $200,000.

If the audience of Hollywood Elites were not basically the DNC fundraiser.

The DNC propagandist.

If the DNC hierarchy didn't attend all of Hollywood's lecturing Liberal propaganda movies--especially Michael Moore's--and then lecture America to go see those movies.

Then greatest irony maybe if the movie Michelle announced as the winner--

Argo had not been produced by two of Hollywood's biggest lecturing Liberals--

Ben Affleck--and George Clooney--who also happen to be two big time donors to the DNC--

which happened to have a voice over by a Democrat ex President who got to lie about never ever even thinking about violence to free the Iranian hostages-

and, was pimped by the now Secretary of State--Democrat John Kerry who has certain memories seared in his brain.

See if all those lexis -nexuses hadn't have happened then maybe--Michelle Obama's appearance at the Oscar's would not have been--

so gross.

But ya, Toure it's "because she is black."

blame my failures or misfortunes on scary evil white bogeymen keeping

I think I overstated my point. Of course a person raised with values or who is simply mature realizes that they are most often the source of their own shortcomings. But it is far too easy to point to somebody else as the source of your failures, whether they are "the other" racially or even economically.

I know racism exists (I don't think it's nearly as pervasive
as these crazies let on),

I'd argue that it has no measurable aggregate social impact. And I think we all know that the opposite is more true, at least in institutions. Nobody refuses to check the box because they think they'll be discriminated against.

Let's face it, if the manifestations of racism are at the level of complaining that the First Lady rickrolled the Oscars, I think the racism problem is solved.

You know who the meanest people have been to me in this country?
Mean African-American women.

The White House was unaware of Immigration Customs and Enforcement’s decision to release detainees until the agency announced it, press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday.

“This was a decision made by a career officials at ICE without any input from the White House, as a result of fiscal uncertainty over the continuing resolution, as well as possible sequestration,” Carney said.

ICE announced Tuesday that it has released several hundred undocumented immigrants in recent weeks as funding cuts loom. The detainees will instead be monitored in less expensive ways, the agency said.

193 Racist? How about a Black ghey smack down, complete with one guy with a hatchet (at 2:00) and a 300 lb woman throwing a table.

194 183 Is Toupe a writer? A journalist? What has he done to merit (snicker) a gig on MSNBC?

Here is his old show "I'll try anything once."

(SFW - Halogen TV) Yeah. Never heard that before.

And I haven't watched the show(s)

196 “This was a decision made by a career officials at ICE without any input from the White House, as a result of fiscal uncertainty over the continuing resolution, as well as possible sequestration,” Carney said.

You would think that I would have become inured to their brazen lying yet I'm still shocked when they insult our intelligence like this.

"and my most recent dalliance was with a filthy scandi."

I'm very disappointed in you, Chique.

How could you be so careless as to consort with some ABBA listening, Ikea-shopping, lutefisk-eating Iceback? Next thing you know, you'll be driving a Volvo and spending your weekends cross country skiing.

199 Billy Bob, that's one of my all-time favorite Ace posts. I even showed it to my scandi friend. He laughed hard.

200 I didn't watch the Oscars, so I didn't see Mooch getting face time. Am I a racist, or am I smart for blowing off a silly awards show? Oh, just kidding. I'm a racist.

201 One Scandi Banhammer coming up!!!

Posted by: Mjölnir the Banhammer for the Gates of Hell at February 27, 2013 02:12 PM (Jls4P)

202 He is American but with predominantly scandi blood and an unrepentant scandi name, so I don't think his being American mitigates the situation. Especially since he was born in Canada.

Posted by: chique d'afrique (the artist formerly known as african chick) at February 27, 2013 02:13 PM (6zgse)

203 @202

A Frog Scandi? Did he smoke afterwards or eat lukefish?

when all you have is a hammer, the whole world looks like a nail.
And if you're Toure, a big white nail, it appears.

205 Levin also has a meek, mild criticism of Rand Paul. Can't believe he wilted like that when Paul should've been hammered for his Hagel vote - and lame defense thereof.
Posted by: Wyatt Earp at February 27, 2013 01:43 PM (gA69l)

Today I am sitting in my home relaxing, actually trying to fall asleep because I couldn't sleep last night and listening to Rush.
Last night I was at work until 9:30 and can't pay attention to everything that's said by various hosts when working.

Rand Paul is trying to play both sides and I see through him. I missed Levin's light criticism of Rand. Rand deserves a rant!

Obama now claims he didn't authorize any illegals belong released, it was Big Sis! TFG claims he read it in the newspaper. Can this SCOAMT grow the hell up?

206 An illegal immigrant from Kenya busted for drunken driving after nearly striking a cop car in Framingham is the uncle of President Obama, the Herald has learned.

Obama Onyango told cops he wanted to “call the White House” after he was nabbed for OUI Aug. 24 after nearly plowing his SUV into a police cruiser. He was arraigned Thursday and was ordered held without bail because he was wanted on a federal immigration warrant, officials said.

208 Perhaps Lincoln had it right, we really should have just rounded them up and shipped them back to Africa a long time ago. Always thought it was just a tyrant, but maybe he really was a genius and saw this future. In case you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic... see I have to add that disclaimer because I don't want to be called a racist.

209 Obama's illegal Uncle was arrested in August 2011. i remember it because we had a hurricane that weekend. He had a job and driver's license. I don't know how because he was on list to be kicked out since the late 1980's. He overstayed his welcome.

210 I was trying to think about who this Toure guy was tonight. It's interesting... he is post-racial, by all appearances. I forgot he was black tonight for an hour.

211 Toure and Obama really need everything to be about race. It's all they have.

212 I'm trying to figure out what S.E. Cupp's deal is. I mean she's all over Beck's TV station, he loves her to piecesand CNN and she's obviously really pro gay now due to her boycott of CPAC and she's an atheist, is this chick conservative, libertarian or just cashing in on the almighty dollar?
