President Obama Will Allow Americans To Be Preyed Upon By Criminals, To Get His Way

How else can you interpret this action?

The federal government released groups of illegal immigrants from custody across the country Monday at the same time the White House was making its case that impending budget cuts would harm efforts to protect the border and enforce federal immigration laws.

What a way to apply political pressure directly to American citizens. Nice country you got here. Be a shame if something were to happen to it.

Think this is a misinterpretation?

Remember, this is the same guy who sent buses full of supporters directly to harass the homes and families of Wall Street bankers, and who told the bankers "My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks."

The last time someone released scads of foreign criminals into the United States, it was Fidel Castro, and it was called the Mariel Boat Lift.

Except instead of Castro releasing foreign criminals in our country as a ‘screw you,’ gesture, our own president is doing it to us.

In pretty much the same spirit.

Lots of us are getting out who were brought in for driving without a license or other small things,” Manuel Perez, a detainee at the Polk Detention Center in Livingston, Texas, said in a statement released by the National Immigrant Youth Alliance. “I hope more of us are able to get out soon.”

'Small things.' Why, it's not like unlicensed, uninsured motorists cause any big problems.

And I'm fully confident that our Chicago-tough political class will only release those who did such 'small things,' and that they will take full responsibility for any resulting chaos, instead of blaming it on budget 'cuts' that actually only represent a (slightly) smaller increase in spending.

Call or write your Senators and Congressmen. Especially the Democrats. Let them know that it is absolutely unacceptable to use the threat of releasing foreign criminals as a political bludgeon against American citizens.

You mean harm efforts to protect the border and enforce the federal immigration laws THEY HAVE PUBLICALLY VOWED NOT TO ENFORCE? Those federal immigration laws?

Here's an idea, DC. How about instead of cutting the budget from such vital services as border security (*snort* like you give a rat's ass about that), maybe you could start cutting the budget in OTHER places instead. Eh? Eh? Like maybe slash some of the EPA. Or better yet, all of it. And while you're at it, let's cut into HUD, and Labor, and hell, our beloved Preezy's own paycheck!

"No, because due to budget cutsit was deemed not fiscally feasible to continue housing and monitoring non-violent undocumented aliens. After a thorough review of criminal records, only those aliens considered least risk were released from custody. This was done to ensure that ICE and DHS capacity tointercept and defuse the risks of violent crime and terrorism would not be threatened."

Of course they are. They can't have absolute rule as long as you are safe.

The lie of the Feudal System was that normal people (the serfs and peasants) could not have taken care of themselves without the Aristocracy. It was a great gig for the Gentry- they got plenty of food and (relative) comfort, and still got to use the peasants (and sometimes the serfs, though not normally) as cannon fodder (trebuchet fodder?).

The Democrats (and too many Republicans) are their intellectual and moral descendents. They believe that they are the ones who should rightfully have power, and the fact that you don't answer to them is unnatural.

They all actually believe Loki's line from the Avengers- the one about kneeling being the proper state for (most of) mankind.

Probably not. A San Francisco woman's husband was murdered by some illegal dickhole a while back and Gavin Cocksucker Newsome never suffered any consequences for making the city a "sanctuary city", which is surely in violation of federal laws. You know, laws; which the fucking libs say we don't have enough of?

Not without their permission. However, you could build a cogent, non-violent case for overthrowing them: "He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has
endeavored to
bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian
savages"

Also, sheriffs have posses. They're not dependent on federal funding. Some are even volunteers. In a day or two, the country might be full of them.

Since, you know, he can't be impeached. That would be treason. This wouldn't.

High-stakes gamble. Sure, it's harder for us than it was the Patriots of the 1770s, because of the incestuous nature between the Media and the Government, but there are enough people out there near the boiling point that if they boil over it won't matter what the LIVs support or don't. The United States as we know it will fall. It won't be pretty, but I can pretty well guarantee the tyrants currently in power will be among the first casualties.

Of course, new tyrants will probably arise, but they'll be new tyrants with only a tenuous grasp on power- making them easier to oppose.

The time is coming when something will break. Either the Government will finally be forced to live according the rules We, the People set 200 years ago, or We, the People, will realize that if they're not abiding by the rules, we don't have to either.

That depends entirely on the scope and quantity of people boiling over. Onesies and twosies will be handled as domestic tangos, discredited, and squashed as an example. Lack of critical mass equals a DUD.

177 Just sent Jim Langevin a thing. But he's in a wheelchair, so I'm not entirely sure he can read.

178 If you're not lucky, you get FDR, LBJ, and BHO.

FDR was an excellent commander-in-chief during WWII, according to all who served under him and those national leaders--such as Churchill--who worked with him. He possessed an excellent strategic sense (the result of his time as Secretary of the Navy, no doubt), had a knack for grasping the essentials and prioritizing accordingly, and hadthat raregift for getting disparate personalities to work together. A lesser president could very easily have lost the war. People forget, but losing the Pacific War was a very real and very imminent possibility until Midway. It was a near-run thing. We were lucky to have him.

So yeah, FDR's domestic policies haunt us to this day. That was counter-balanced, I think, by his wartime leadership.

179 Headlines, we need some headlines, people need to get arrested and bloody, and probably some martyrs before all is said and done.

When the time comes, there'll be no shortage of martyrs. There never is.

180 I suppose releasing them and deporting them (get a bus drive them to the
border) would be too much like enforcing the law. Called Fl ICE field
office. They know nothing-told me to call WDC.

OK, I'll do that. One question, why does the World Dance Council have information RE illegal immigration?

Or did you mean Western Digital Corp. Nice hard drives they make.

181 Mariel boat lift is a great comparison. Good work. I'm using it.

182 @144 - I agree. They need to be marched upon. Surround every building. Dare them to force those gathered to disperse.

183 Who cares? More fear and loathing from President Five Iron.

I could care less. Love to see him get laid off. Wouldn't that be a peach?

184 Just an idea, and I'm not sure if anyone else has brought it up already, but here goes: if they're going to give amnesty to the people who broke these laws, I say any citizen who has also broken those laws should be given amnesty. Suffering penalties from being an unlicensed, uninsured motorist, AND you're a citizen? You should be given amnesty from that. If the illegals don't have to pay for their crimes, why should citizens have to pay for those same crimes?

185 My stepson got a speeding ticket, lost his license and insurance. He wound up with a bench warrant for failing to pay his fines, which were increased by being busted a couple of times for driving uninsured and with no license. We bailed him out on that one. He still owes about $4k for this. And they have another bench warrant caused by failure to pay the fines a second time. Too bad that he's not illegal. It must be nice to ignore the law.

All of Batman's Arch-Villains let all the criminals and insane loose too.
Coincidence? I think not.
