CNN's Zucker to Discuss Lack of Black Journalists at His Network

And yet still no media coverage, outside of a website called Mediabistro (which really is not "The Media," of course).

CNN President Jeff Zucker is scheduled to meet today in Atlanta with the leadership of the National Association of Black Journalists to discuss the state of black journalists at the network, FishbowlDC has learned.

The media will never criticize the media (except FNC) in any meaningful way for a several reasons:

They go from one "black" journalist to another, explaining where they've gone, their woes, etc.

Liberals: defining everything they do through a prism of color, gender, sexual orientation, class, and age.

And, then they have to explain themselves.

The MFM is almost completely un-policed. They can lie about people with near-impunity, and have a huge effect on politics and public perception. They are almost entirely non-self-policing, they have been shown repeatedly to collude to push or hide stories.

Yes, yes this should be covered. As should all of it.

Part of the Breitbart Phenomena that never seems to get started is journalism exposing journalism. I mean, started, fits and starts, but never gets rolling.

If I had the resources I'd try to bring some of the existing watchdogs (Newsbusters, AIM, etc) together (if informally) to start a regular journal / paper / show about journalistic shenanigans.

They just don't have enough exposure.
