Chuck Hagel: It All Comes As Stunning News To Me That Jews Have Been Historically Subject to Discrimination and Suspicion

I hope I may be forgiven for some light blasphemy here in invoking the name of a Jew: Jesus.

Apparently, um, per the straight-shooter Chuck Schumer (who is certainly not mendaciously using his own ethnic cred to sell this trainwreck to his fellow Jews), Hagel actually cried when he discovered that Jews had previously been accused of all sorts of conspiracies against the gentiles of the state, and also debarred from working in a large number of professions.

But now Chuck Hagel rented Fiddler on the Roof so he's up to speed now.

I'm Jewish and a big supporter of Israel and even I am getting tired of worrying about Hagel's random spouts about us joooos (though yes it is a rich source of amusement). It should be enough to reject him that he is a blithering idiot nominated for probably the most demanding administrative job in the government.
Reagan's SecDef Cap Weinberger was very cool towards Israel though the Reagan admin was otherwise pro-Israel. But at least Weinberger was an undeniably intelligent and competent guy. Hagel is not in the same time zone as "intelligence" and "competence". Maybe not the same galaxy.

I realize this is a neocon site that believes in two things (guns and war), but the two Amnesty Amigos came off looking much, much worse than Hagel did.

245 Hagel has undeniably risen to his level of incompetence. Why does Obama want to foist upon us another boob? We have Kerry at State making his first speech supposedly about Foreign Affairs but instead it is a screed on Global Warming and Congress being our biggest enemies. Dude needs to figure out that he is not Secretary of State of France but the United States. What he says is important in the world.

Obama wants to foist the worst of the worst on the country to solidify his own position and agenda. Hagel admitted he's not qualified for Sec. of Defense and yet the Senate wants to give him a pass. I hang my head in shame about that RINO McCain signalling that he will vote for Hagel. Shame on any Senator that votes for him. They know better but they will sacrifice not only our military but my child for politics.
