Wanting to parlay the success of the Doritos taco launch, Taco Bell is considering its next shell flavors – Flamas and Cool Ranch.
The two flavors are being tested in various regions, including some Orange County Taco Bell restaurants. The chain declined to reveal the test locations. There’s no guarantee the flavors will roll out, Taco Bell said.
During our taste test, I enjoyed the chili lime flavor of the Flamas taco shell over the less interesting Cool Ranch shell. The Flamas offered a two-dimensional flavor experience. At first, you taste a hint of lime with a hint of cheesy spice. Then, the heat follows a few seconds later. It’s a great pairing with Taco Bell’s signature seasoned beef.

It looks to be an over/under. There's a little lever you can see on top of the receiver. You use that to unlock it and it hinges open to expel the spent shells. You then hand load two more shells and close it back up again.
I think a previous commenter was correct. It looks to be a Browning High Grade or Citori. Nice gun, anyway.

In 1980 and even in 1990, you would be correct. But two things have happened:
1) punters have gotten far better. The difference between the best and worst punters is about 20 yards per game on average.
2) with the opening up of the passing game, especially since 2003, field position has diminsihed meaning.
I'm spoiled by having the Patriots as my home town team. On offense, there is almost no difference for them in terms of degree of difficulty between a 70 yard drive and a 90 yard drive. And on defense, they don't even wake up until the other team gets inside the 20.
It's just a different game than it ever was at the pro level.

Honestly, domesticated dogs are blindly loyal even to the worst master, will listen to whatever command you give them without thinking (and regardless of how stupid it makes them look), and are pretty much 100% dependent on their humans for food and shelter. While those are qualities that are nice in a pet -- that pretty much sums up the left's relationship with the government, IMO.
Cats, OTOH, are basically the complete opposite.

It's my understanding that a lot of the "greatness" of Citizen Kane is because of innovative camera techniques Orson Wells used while filming it that changed the way movies were made. It's often said Wells "revolutionized" film making with that movie.
The whole morality tale about the main character's longing for his youth on his death bed (the name of the sled being his last words) despite all the wealth and power he accumulated in his life is meh, IMO.

You are correct. That, and he had the Tarantino effect: writing, directing, and starring in it while only 24 years old.
But....as Pajiba lays out in their review of it, if a film is going to be labeled "The Greatest Film" off all time it's got to deliver a helluva lot more than that.
I would put the Godfathers I and II ahead of it by a mile.
Hell, I would put Cape Fear ahead of it.

Night of the Hunter is the only movie Charles Laughton directed. Lillian Gish was in it. Think about how long her career was. From the early 1900's through the modern era. Amazing! Oh and Mitchum was scary as h*ll in that movie.

Not to mention, if a murderer broke into a cat owner's home, a cat would continue to lick himself or even rub against the murderer's leg as he stabbed the homeowner to death. Most dogs, even the little purse dogs, would at least try to protect the owner.

My cats come by name. They know the words: home, no, good, bad, bed, stop, okay, treat, kiss, and git 'em! They also recognize the names of their brothers and sisters, as in "Go get Monkey!"
They are very affectionate and each has its own personality.

I shot Skeet competitively for a decade and there is no indication he is anywhere on a Skeet Range. You can se the ground immediately next to him and there is no shooting station and if he was far enough around the course that there are no more station you would see the "Low House" to his right. LOL Well, I guess it is all in how a person views the different qualities dogs and cat each possess.
I have to agree on one thing -- cats aren't grateful like dogs -- but I think it is because cats have higher self-esteem/aren't people pleasers like dogs are. IMO, you share living space with a cat in a partnership -- you feed him; he kills any rodents or bugs that come in the house, and if you let him outside, he'll bring back some of the spoils from the hunt to you.
You never really are a cat's "owner" like you are with a dog -- heck, if you let him be indoor/outdoor there is a good chance he will not come back if he finds a place he likes better.

Took the new Barnes Patrolman's Carbine (AR) out for the maiden voyage, and to zero the scope. After discovering a loose riser under the scope after 50 rounds I felt idiotic enough, but had fun, and went home.
Disassembled the bolt to clean, and when reinserting the firing pin, didn't have the firing pin all the way in (didn't realize of cousre) but you can still reinsert the cotter pin, and it all goes back together, THEN FREAKIN JAMS, and you can't drop the lower. Finally worked it open to properly assemble the bolt and carrier, and in the process broke a $2 buffer retention detent (pin) A TWO DOLLAR PIN on a battle rifle. Any idiot could have done what I did tonight, even after watching multiple YouTube vids in advance.
I would have thought this 60 year old design might be a little more idiot proof. SHIT. Now the part is on back order.

And it's a Maverick 88, so it has an 8 round magazine...with a pistol grip...so it's banned in NY State. Not a detachable magazine, so it's apparently not scary enough for Fineshwine. It was I -- and thank you, I have seen Spellbound. Great flick.
Gregory Peck is one of my favorites (even though he was before my time, I'm a fan of old movies), so I've seen most everything he's been in. I also really like Hitchcock, so of course Spellbound is right up my alley.
Something about the older movies -- not only do the actors and actresses seem more glamorous, but they were much more reliant on *story,* IMO -- maybe because there weren't as many special effects then.

I am not up on all of it but read an article today which laid out the differences between the different types of competitive shooting (can't find article). It suggested that what he is doing in the photo is NOT skeet shooting.

I have to admit, I'm a little wary about having a bike. I used to ride, back in PA but on a Yamaha FZ6. Never rode on one of these cruiser bikes before. I think I'm more afraid...ok I know I'm more afraid...of the other assholes on the road than anything else. I guess once you're involved in a bad accident you tend to think of everyone else as being out to kill you. It is something that the hubby wanted badly, and we could afford it so what the hell. Between it and my FR-S I'm hoping to start loving being on the road again. /psychology insight

As someone who wrote press releases for a railroad, I can attest that there are now, as always, regular derailments.
Thousands of trains pulling tens of thousands of cars each day... the odds are on something happening. Most derailments are very minor but sometimes bad luck/weather strikes and there are several newsworthy events in short order.

Believe it or not, things have calmed down considerably in recent years. And I say this after nearly 20 years doing gigs in the area at various bars. Did many years at the Boot Hill Saloon and now at the Cabbage Patch.
It's a fun atmosphere, with boobehs and booze everywhere (and coleslaw wrasslin), nothing to fear. Everybody's on the same side.

It wasn't a bad question. If you don't work in the industry you really wouldn't be expected to know that they happen with regularity.
There are a LOT of moving parts on a railroad and the maintenance is constant, still.... rain can destabilize the soil under a track and exceptionally cold weather can cause cracks.
