I'm off to work, today and tomorrow. I've worked 75% of the weekends so far in 2013. This is the fourth time on this project I've been expected to give up weekends for a month to make the deadline.
And I can't take comp time (which would be my preference, since the governments can't confiscate half my comp time)...I have to take "overtime pay", which I think works out to "straight time pay" which is a depressingly small amount on a per-hour basis. Certainly not enough to cover the costs of getting someone doing my grocery shopping and laundry and other shit I can't do when I'm at work (my housemate is worse than worthless, tracks mud and grass all over the house instead of taking his shoes off, then pretends he can't see it), even before the governments confiscate half of it and give it away to Obama's bundlers.
Of course all the managers are married men. Clean shirts and clean toilets and hot meals just magically appear, whether you work 40 hours or 75.
If my garage wasn't so full of my housemate's stupid shit that I can't get my car in there--every fucking morning, I have to waste 15 minutes scraping frost of my car when I'm paying for a fucking garage--I'd go sit out there with the motor running.

I think the Libs see this as some kind of competition, where the one with the most points win.
Conservatives tend to think more along the line of the Constitution is the instructions for running the government.And every action, law and rule must be in conformance with the Constitution, or it is basically illegal, null, void, without power, etc.
AndmostLibs that I talk to, that hold strong opinions on topics like gun control, free speech, abortion, and so on, couldn't tell you if the Constitution was written before, or after Hawaii became a state.

Apparently there is a huge inferred difference between "Recess" and "The Recess", and the Court pinged on the original intent of the Founders.

Obama is too stupid to see that he is going to force every Justice to decide overtly whether there is a Constitution or night. If there is a civil War over the issue the traitors to the document will be killed. I am not calling for it, do not want it, but will happily take part if it comes to pass.
You do not get to destroy the document without paying a price, and the ONLY thing they will have as a moral basis for their governance will be gone without an Article V.

And yes, I pray for he and his family every day-that they would be safe, but that Obama might make wise and just decisions and any harm he intends the US would be stopped. I'm not too confident that we will do that, however, and it's possible that Obama has been sent by God as a judgement on the US. Certainly in the Hebrew Scriptures bad rulers were sent as a warning to the Hebrew people.

The lesson is lost whenever you have any human people put in the place of God, and as much as some more rational liberals deny it there is a sizable group that really does think of Obama as a messiah like figure. One has only t go to the "Obamamessiah" website to see it. Therefore, they think anyone who doesn't accept his entire rule is a heretic who must be dealt with. My liberal friends-a number of whom are Christians-aren't at that point-but boy, there are some violent sounding militant Atheists who don't realize the religious sounding language they use in respect to Obama. Even some Christians sound like he's a prophet and would be putting flowers at the feet of his statues when they go up. Very troubling indeed.

I have an old laptop, of a different brand, that I frequently had to disassemble to clean the heat sink.
As this one is shiny new, and I had not eaten too many Utz Hard Pretzels while using it, I was hoping that the spilled coffee would have flushed out any really tiny pretzel crumbs.
I'm guessing that those hopes are for naught, and I may have to risk the release of the jinns and all the tiny people, such as yourself that live in my magic lap box.
In other words, once the degree of irritation becomes greater than the degree of trepidation, I will find a you-tube video of how to get it, put on my big boy pants, and go for it.

Good point. My lib friends love this guy- the adoration is almost at Clinton levels, which continues to confound my brain and offend my sensibilities, as he is a king douche bag. Heh. I'd prob enjoy it more than them. The eldest is very girly, dance, princess, dresses and hair bows and nail polish. Because of the $30 rebate on each drive witha limit of one per household or person, I specified for one order to be ship to my employer's offices. They knew the address was different because they charged me more for shipping there. But both orders came to my house regardless. I've sent them a complaint requesting that the extra shipping charge be refunded and indicating that I will be greatly pissed if I don't get both rebates.

Funny, we were talking about this very thing just last night, we had the rare opportunity of being home together and with the time, lack of pressing matters, and energy to watch a video. "The Daniel Project" is a right interesting take on exegesis of certain prophecies in the OT Book of Daniel, in the light of recent political and world events. It starts off pretty goofy, and we almost turned it off, but then it swung into the meat of the matter in short order.
On Netflix instant, highly recommended. The Obamamessiah figures prominently, though not in a overtly finger-pointing way.

She was fast, seriously fast and she'd catch air underneath her butt at the high point.
When she did that with a load on, the clean-up required a HazMat crew.

Ridley Scott's Blade Runner movie is considered dystopic. The bleakness is there represented by the atmosphere of a gloomy doomed seeming world. The whole movie however is really an affirmation of life, Deckerd and Rachel leaving his apartment even Olmos character is willing to give them the gift of life..
But Albatross is far more dystopic since the wreck and ruin lies inside the people, in the tiny shriveled things they call souls while denying how dead they truly are.

Umm, dunno about "free," but it is one of the streaming "instant" videos that comes with our $7.99/month streaming-only account.
I know a couple of churches that are doing the coffee/viewing/discussion thing with it. The schtick is that a British "journalist" (actually one of their announcer-type people), who is a self-professed skeptic (color me surprised), is given one page of the script at a time, and goes through the twenty fulfilled and future prophecies at the same time he is listening to various commentators and narrating the video. He does get the most marvelously perplexed "why have I never heard of all this before" look on his face about halfway through, and seems genuinely thoughtful about it all in the end.

Every minute Chambliss has been in Washington City has been wasteful and harmful to Georgia. Of course the same can be said of Graham and S.C. Yeah, the website is pretty bad, and the background music in the video gets pretty tiring after a while. However, it really doesn't make much of a good drinking game movie, the script is surprisingly good. Especially for a Christian movie.

I think that's a common misperception because of the Roadrunner cartoons. Actually the actor who played Wile E. Coyote was very small (sorta like Tom Cruise), so they had to use some interesting camera angles, making the Roadrunner look relatively big. Plus, they say the camera adds 30 lbs or so.

Blow of law school. Go over to instapunant and read the doom about law school grads. My son blew off a full scholarship at UNC and went to Duke MBA on a partial ride, which means I got fucked.
Best decision he ever made. His law school buddies all have jobs paying half what he is making and he only went two years instead of three.

It might cost them more money burning up a little bit of messaging time, but it's marginal.
The real jump in cost for the spammer is when the call is routed from the machine that does the robo-dialing and tries to detect a live answer to a more sophisticated IVR system or a human agent. This increases the amount of capacity they need to maintain in their backend systems. Depending on the caller's sophistication, this means more ports on the call-queuing system, more screen pop capacity, and more time wasted for an agent (whether live or IVR) that will need to spend some amount of time engaging, then disengaging, then resetting for the next call.

Yes, it is. Does the radio have a built-in telescoping rod antenna? If so, that is the FM antenna, and the flex wire is the AM antenna. If there is no rod antenna, then the flex wire is likely the FM antenna, and there is no external AM antenna. AM reception is picked up by the internal ferrite bar antenna, just like on a portable radio.
Is the shed metal? I have similar experiences using radios inside metal-clad wellsite trailers. One thing you might try in this case. Get about 50 feet of light insulated wire.Wrap a half-dozen turns around the case of the radio, and lead the long end of the wire outside the shed to a tree or pole, and attach it, using an insulator, like maybe a short length of poly twine. "Grounding" the other end of the wire to the metal body of the shed may help, too.If the shed has a window, simply putting the radio on the window sill, or on a purpose-built shelf may do the trick, too.

He started cussing me, so I cussed him back. He hung up. About five minutes later I get a call from a cell phone number and it's the same Black guy wanting to cuss me out some more. Stupid fucker's cell phone number showed up on my call id. You can guess how that worked out for him. I called him from my restricted phone for days at all times of the night. He finally cut the phone off.
I find it is best to act senile, since those are the people they scam and always ask for a supervisor when they want your CC number. Tell them your son told you never to give out your number to anyone unless you called them back and try to get them to give you a real number or address. They won't.
