Good Morning Morons. Today is Saturday, January 26, 2013. On this day in 1564 the Council of Trent issued its conclusions in the Tridentinum, establishing a distinction between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. A separate codicil solved the vexing problem of longbow vs crossbow.

NLRB: We don't need no stinkin courts. we are Obamanirtes! Laws are for little dig turds on our shoes.
The Board respectfully disagrees with today’s decision and believes that the President’s position in the matter will ultimately be upheld. It should be noted that this order applies to only one specific case, Noel Canning, and that similar questions have been raised in more than a dozen cases pending in other courts of appeals. In the meantime, the Board has important work to do. The parties who come to us seek and expect careful consideration and resolution of their cases, and for that reason, we will continue to perform our statutory duties and issue decisions. http://is.gd/cSswyJ Posted by: Vic at January 26, 2013 07:48 AM (53z96) 54

Wifey had the news on when I heard Tina Tuner is renouncing her US
citizenship for the Swiss. Speculation is that its over TFG's new tax on the wealthy. And no one in the MFM is going to call her out for her racism, are they? I'm off to work, today and tomorrow. I've worked 75% of the weekends so far in 2013. This is the fourth time on this project I've been expected to give up weekends for a month to make the deadline. And I can't take comp time (which would be my preference, since the governments can't confiscate half my comp time)...I have to take "overtime pay", which I think works out to "straight time pay" which is a depressingly small amount on a per-hour basis. Certainly not enough to cover the costs of getting someone doing my grocery shopping and laundry and other shit I can't do when I'm at work (my housemate is worse than worthless, tracks mud and grass all over the house instead of taking his shoes off, then pretends he can't see it), even before the governments confiscate half of it and give it away to Obama's bundlers. Of course all the managers are married men. Clean shirts and clean toilets and hot meals just magically appear, whether you work 40 hours or 75. If my garage wasn't so full of my housemate's stupid shit that I can't get my car in there--every fucking morning, I have to waste 15 minutes scraping frost of my car when I'm paying for a fucking garage--I'd go sit out there with the motor running. Exposing the people - lobbyists and congressional staffers - responsible for authoring language used in the original anti-gun bills sent up to the Hill should be priority #1. Congressional staff have been given a pass up until now, why? They aren't elected (selected!) officials yet wield considerable power and are as responsible for each and every onerous law and regulation foisted on us - as our elected representatives are (or should be.)
Who the heck wrote the firearms legislation for DiFi in '94 and '13? I'd like to know the names of the people responsible for drafting the current crop of ex-constitutional anti-gun horseflop. I think the Libs see this as some kind of competition, where the one with the most points win. Conservatives tend to think more along the line of the Constitution is the instructions for running the government. And every action, law and rule must be in conformance with the Constitution, or it is basically illegal, null, void, without power, etc. AndmostLibs that I talk to, that hold strong opinions on topics like gun control, free speech, abortion, and so on, couldn't tell you if the Constitution was written before, or after Hawaii became a state. That is why I was delighted to see in another article yesterday where the Court focused on the word "The" while defining when Recess began and ended. Apparently there is a huge inferred difference between "Recess" and "The Recess", and the Court pinged on the original intent of the Founders. I take it as a good sign. 102 VIA,
Obama is too stupid to see that he is going to force every Justice to decide overtly whether there is a Constitution or night. If there is a civil War over the issue the traitors to the document will be killed. I am not calling for it, do not want it, but will happily take part if it comes to pass. You do not get to destroy the document without paying a price, and the ONLY thing they will have as a moral basis for their governance will be gone without an Article V. Peggy Noonan and Davey Brooks can act like this is a game of video basketball and the left just has Mad Skillz, I and a lot of other people take it a little more seriously I guess. Along these lines, it is critical to frame this idea correctly. Anyone undermining rule of law--regardless of what office he holds--is in rebellion against the United States. Same goes for anyone daring to lift a finger to defend the rebels' lawlessness. Posted by: FRONT TOWARD LEFT at January 26, 2013 08:39 AM (V3kRK) 117

to elaborate if there is no Constitution or if the document is SO malleable that barack can simply do whatever he wants, then the GOP will run very different people.... I will start speaking openly about what I want to do to EPA operatives who collude with special interest groups, I will call for loyalty tests for NEA leadership, I will start discussing thingsto do with people who utilize illegal aliens labor on a wide scale, I will discuss what to do with the border and it will not be "nice things" because if Barack Obama gets to be one person campaigning and then govern as he will why we can all play that game at that point. I figure of the Super Secret Gestapo really gets going I'm a goner. Not only are my footprints all over the internet ("I don't think he's the messiah; I think he's a crook" etc, etc) but I had anti Obama, anti Obama policy pro Romney policy signs hanging up outside my house from October through the election. Talk about not keeping a low profile.
And yes, I pray for he and his family every day-that they would be safe, but that Obama might make wise and just decisions and any harm he intends the US would be stopped. I'm not too confident that we will do that, however, and it's possible that Obama has been sent by God as a judgement on the US. Certainly in the Hebrew Scriptures bad rulers were sent as a warning to the Hebrew people. Do you have a defunct laptop to practice on and gain confidence? Use a butter knife to pry the bottom edge of the key. It will pop upward and swivel like a hinged box lid as it is held in place with clips. Once you get a look under the key, the mechanics are pretty obvious. The keycaps are scissors mechanisms and the actual switches are sealed and have a rubbery cap on it. The problem is usually crumbs or a hair interfering with the mechanical scissor movement. 121 FenlonSpoke,
Yup....I want no harm to barack Obama or his family until and unless widespread rebellion breaks out. No need to martyr his ass it would be counter productive as Biden would use it to inflict defacto One Party rule and Marxism. There would be a race war and no one is served. No I hope he figures it out, what he is doing is forcing the Justices and Judges to look at his games and say "whoa if you do this there are no rules." Some are great with that and feel swell....Sotomayer and Kagan for example....some may or may not be okay with it like Justice Kennedy.... Left and right both have bad actors and darker angels of their nature... if the left gets to enact their dark fantasies about "if I only had a few more powers" then the right gets to play the same game.... and I am dying to ask Billy Ayers a few questions in a dark room. 121- problem is when you have a significant portion of the population that either mocks God and religion or down right denies the existence of God, then the lesson is lost. I've resigned myself that whatever is coming down the pike will happen whether I beat my drum and scream at the world or not. All I can do is try to keep my family safe, uphold my oath to the Constitution and trust in God. Short of winning powerball and scoring millions, I can't do much more.

The lesson is lost whenever you have any human people put in the place of God, and as much as some more rational liberals deny it there is a sizable group that really does think of Obama as a messiah like figure. One has only t go to the "Obamamessiah" website to see it. Therefore, they think anyone who doesn't accept his entire rule is a heretic who must be dealt with. My liberal friends-a number of whom are Christians-aren't at that point-but boy, there are some violent sounding militant Atheists who don't realize the religious sounding language they use in respect to Obama. Even some Christians sound like he's a prophet and would be putting flowers at the feet of his statues when they go up. Very troubling indeed. But yes, what will happen will happen. I have an old laptop, of a different brand, that I frequently had to disassemble to clean the heat sink. As this one is shiny new, and I had not eaten too many Utz Hard Pretzels while using it, I was hoping that the spilled coffee would have flushed out any really tiny pretzel crumbs. I'm guessing that those hopes are for naught, and I may have to risk the release of the jinns and all the tiny people, such as yourself that live in my magic lap box. In other words, once the degree of irritation becomes greater than the degree of trepidation, I will find a you-tube video of how to get it, put on my big boy pants, and go for it. Sometimes I ponder the many things about Obama that seem to come from a bad "end of days" novel:
He has that scar on his head which no one asks about or explains. The flies. The fact that he requires the White House to be super hot. His continually twisting of Scripture. The fact that he seems to have the press under some sort of spell, whether fascination or fear. (That talk about them giggling and acting like schoolboys was particularly alarming.) The death-knell he puts on every business he visits, every team he roots for. His deliberate attack on the Church. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The ideas about making prison tolerable made me remember talking to a friend's son, a corrections officer in PA. He had a theory that if you took all the prisoners in max (we're talking 23 hour a day lockdown) and said Look, every day that there is no infraction on your part, you'll get a joint, it would really cut down on their bullshit. Secret Squirrel, Adventures is now a quaint movie. Lots of fun. Even a bit of violence and romance with a large dose of silly. Do we see that in theatres now? No. So yeah remake it but stick with the script with just a few technology updates. Chris texting everything is fine while Tweeting to her friends 'I'm gonna die!!!'

Build-a-Bear if there is one near you and it isn't too expensive for your budget. Visits to a large pet store to look at fish. (Avoid this if you have been having begging for puppies/kitties.) Well, got my pair of 3 TB drives from TigerDirect. Getting them out of the cases was no problem and the cases are reusable. It's getting TD to ship to the correct address that is the problem.
Because of the $30 rebate on each drive witha limit of one per household or person, I specified for one order to be ship to my employer's offices. They knew the address was different because they charged me more for shipping there. But both orders came to my house regardless. I've sent them a complaint requesting that the extra shipping charge be refunded and indicating that I will be greatly pissed if I don't get both rebates. I hope to have the combination of free time and consciousness sometime this weekend to setup the NAS with 6 TB of combined storage for all of my video content. 143: The lesson is lost whenever you have any human people put in the place of God, and as much as some more rational liberals deny it there is a sizable group that really does think of Obama as a messiah like figure.
Posted by: FenelonSpoke at January 26, 2013 08:55 AM (+qMCO) Funny, we were talking about this very thing just last night, we had the rare opportunity of being home together and with the time, lack of pressing matters, and energy to watch a video. "The Daniel Project" is a right interesting take on exegesis of certain prophecies in the OT Book of Daniel, in the light of recent political and world events. It starts off pretty goofy, and we almost turned it off, but then it swung into the meat of the matter in short order. On Netflix instant, highly recommended. The Obamamessiah figures prominently, though not in a overtly finger-pointing way. Posted by: John the Baptist at January 26, 2013 09:36 AM (hww6e) 239

Think of her as a young Alex the Chick but what like boys. They camp, make out, get discovered by bad guys, have battles sort of. They evade agents of the government. Bruce Willis is the cop on the island looking for them. It sort of a romantic vision of a young morons life. Even has biblical type references

My girl never crawled. She went from scooting straight to walking. The scooting consisted of her raising and pushing both knees into the ground hard simultaneously, then she'd push forward on knees and ankles...and land with a plop. Then repeat. California now has company in the Standard Poor's credit basement. SP lowered Illinois' rating to A-minus, the same as California's. But the Midwest state is heading in the opposite direction, as the ratings house added a negative outlook. On the contrary, SP gave California a positive outlook last year and indicated the state could eventually earn an upgrade if its finances get back on track. Woo hoo! We're number 49 with a bullet! Oh man. That's brutal. With both my kids, once about every two months or so, they would have a "blow out". It was like they drank a gallon of colon cleanse. Nothing could contain it. Not the diaper, not the clothes. It would be everywhere.
Our son had blowouts like that too. Sometimes double and even triple headers. They were especially tough when they occurred in his little walker. A trail of destruction oozing out while he scooted around the floor. But that was 1990. If I remind him of that now, he just rolls his eyes. Ridley Scott's Blade Runner movie is considered dystopic. The bleakness is there represented by the atmosphere of a gloomy doomed seeming world. The whole movie however is really an affirmation of life, Deckerd and Rachel leaving his apartment even Olmos character is willing to give them the gift of life.. But Albatross is far more dystopic since the wreck and ruin lies inside the people, in the tiny shriveled things they call souls while denying how dead they truly are. Something like that is the plan. I'm accustomed to a simple lifestyle, so am not in it for the money. MSNBC Host: ‘I Thank God and Country…Abortion Was There to Save Me’ Jan. 25, 2013 7:00pm Jason Howerton During MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Friday, co-host Toure celebrated the 40th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision to legalize abortion by telling the story of when he and an old girlfriend decided to have an abortion 15 years ago. “In some ways that choice saved my life,” Toure said. He said he was extremely thankful abortion was an option because wasn’t ready to be a dad and going through with the pregnancy would have just made “a mess of three lives” because she “wasn’t the one.” “I thank God and country that when I fell into a bad situation, abortion was there to save me and keep me on a path toward building a strong family I have now. And I pray that safety net stays in place,” Toure said. Being able to choose to have an abortion makes for a “stronger America,” he concluded. Posted by: teej at January 26, 2013 09:55 AM (XOog0) Umm, dunno about "free," but it is one of the streaming "instant" videos that comes with our $7.99/month streaming-only account. I know a couple of churches that are doing the coffee/viewing/discussion thing with it. The schtick is that a British "journalist" (actually one of their announcer-type people), who is a self-professed skeptic (color me surprised), is given one page of the script at a time, and goes through the twenty fulfilled and future prophecies at the same time he is listening to various commentators and narrating the video. He does get the most marvelously perplexed "why have I never heard of all this before" look on his face about halfway through, and seems genuinely thoughtful about it all in the end. Yeah, the website is pretty bad, and the background music in the video gets pretty tiring after a while. However, it really doesn't make much of a good drinking game movie, the script is surprisingly good. Especially for a Christian movie. Unlike all the "Left Behind" movies. Eessh. Heather Radish that is a good idea. I am not sure if I would have the writing chops to handle such an emotional, painful, and devastating subject.

I was driving and ended up listening to NPR and an interview with Margaret Cho. You know, usually an interview with a comedian is funny. This was decidedly not.
At any rate, she was saying that this show she is doing now is her edgiest ever! And what makes it edgy is because she gets naked. But not in a sexy way (to which I say as if!). She does some riffs on women's bodies. She also talked about how now that she is older people look to her like a mother figure and ask her advice. Can you imagine taking Margaret Cho's advice on parenting? And, no, of course she doesn't have any children. Never really wanted them. Posted by: Golan Globus at January 26, 2013 10:21 AM (/1U3u) 363

Secret Squirrel and Heather Radish, my fevered brain just made another synaptic connection about the story of Sarah and her mother Helen.
This is the anti Sophie's Choice. Instead of the Nazis forcing her to choose which child to save. She chooses which to save. Ultrasound had shown she was carrying fraternal twins and she chose to kill the boy. And yes acute early onset Alzheimer and quality of life. Sarah has to wrestle with these hard decisions. She has never known her father, Helen had merely called him a sperm donor. Rest of her family is trendy chic bubbleheads who spout Elle, NPR, and Vogue. And here she is in emotional agony with no one to turn to. Posted by: Anna Puma (+SmuD) at January 26, 2013 10:31 AM (shmgt) 391

Sometimes I don't hang up. This costs them even more money. "Hello? Hello?"
It might cost them more money burning up a little bit of messaging time, but it's marginal. The real jump in cost for the spammer is when the call is routed from the machine that does the robo-dialing and tries to detect a live answer to a more sophisticated IVR system or a human agent. This increases the amount of capacity they need to maintain in their backend systems. Depending on the caller's sophistication, this means more ports on the call-queuing system, more screen pop capacity, and more time wasted for an agent (whether live or IVR) that will need to spend some amount of time engaging, then disengaging, then resetting for the next call. When I see those spoofed numbers on the caller ID I answer "Department of Homeland Security, this call is being recorded." Somewhere on youtube, (I think), there's an audio clip of a guy that responds to spam calls as a detective investigating a murder. Funny shit....I'll see if I can find it. And once those kids are born, you're going to allow teachers to protect them, aren't you?

337 #324 You know, twins have some sort of communication that is beyond normal comprehension. I wonder if the surviving twin will retain some subconscious memory of this and have problems from a young age.
And agree that it would be truly devastating for her to find out. ========= I'm a surviving twin. In my case, my brother was stillborn. It's hard to explain, but sometimes I feel...incomplete? Thought I was just loopy, but I've talked to other surviving twins and they've felt the same as me. Thus ends this "TMI" post. Posted by: Captain Whitebread at January 26, 2013 11:21 AM (5J54Q) 450
Sometimes I don't hang up. This costs them even more money. "Hello? Hello?"
---- Years ago when we used to get sales calls, I would get the, "hello ma'am, I'm so and so from so and so...." and before I would say a word, I'd hand the phone over to my 1 year old, where he'd babble into the phone until they hung up. Question for horde. I keep a radio/CD player in the
shed. A decent but old Sony compact. Anyway, I can move the flexible little wire antenna all over the place and get somewhat decent reception for the AM channel I want, but if I physically touch the radio, the reception is ten times better than anytingI get with the antenna. Am I acting as the antenna in that case? Posted by: lincolntf at January 26, 2013 10:07 AM (ZshNr) Yes, it is. Does the radio have a built-in telescoping rod antenna? If so, that is the FM antenna, and the flex wire is the AM antenna. If there is no rod antenna, then the flex wire is likely the FM antenna, and there is no external AM antenna. AM reception is picked up by the internal ferrite bar antenna, just like on a portable radio. Is the shed metal? I have similar experiences using radios inside metal-clad wellsite trailers. One thing you might try in this case. Get about 50 feet of light insulated wire.Wrap a half-dozen turns around the case of the radio, and lead the long end of the wire outside the shed to a tree or pole, and attach it, using an insulator, like maybe a short length of poly twine. "Grounding" the other end of the wire to the metal body of the shed may help, too.If the shed has a window, simply putting the radio on the window sill, or on a purpose-built shelf may do the trick, too. Wheredo you get land mines?
Posted by: USS Diversity at January 26, 2013 10:49 AM (MPjT Funny story. Went to Israel with family several years ago and along the road my son saw a sign in the ditch, "Danger Land Mines". It was in English, Hebrew and Arabic. He grabbed it, we were on a private family tour. Well when he went though airport security we were expecting the worse. Lady pulled it out and said nice sign, next. It is posted at my driveway entrance now. Posted by: Billy Bob, Pseudo Intellectual at January 26, 2013 11:30 AM (wR+pz) 453

Oh, I've used the old waste their time ploy and spent a half an hour with them on more than one occasion. Once a Black guy got mad when I finally said, listen fellow you are breaking the law I am on the no call list and I am reporting you.
He started cussing me, so I cussed him back. He hung up. About five minutes later I get a call from a cell phone number and it's the same Black guy wanting to cuss me out some more. Stupid fucker's cell phone number showed up on my call id. You can guess how that worked out for him. I called him from my restricted phone for days at all times of the night. He finally cut the phone off. I find it is best to act senile, since those are the people they scam and always ask for a supervisor when they want your CC number. Tell them your son told you never to give out your number to anyone unless you called them back and try to get them to give you a real number or address. They won't.
