Kremlin to Begin Evacuating Russians Out of Syria

I wonder if they'll be evacuating any interesting toxins, too.

There's always been a suspicion on the right that the Russians evacuated a lot of chemical and bio material out of Iraq, just before the invasion.

The Emergency Situations Ministry said two of its planes will fly to Beirut on Tuesday to carry more than 100 Russians from Syria.

Monday's announcement appears to reflect Moscow's increasing doubts about Assad's ability to cling to power and growing concerns about the safety of its citizens.

Russia's Foreign Ministry has said that it has contingency plans in place to evacuate thousands of Russians from Syria.

It says, Russia "begins" to draw down, imlpying much more is to come soon. But there is no evidence whatsoever that a dramatic further drawdown is imminent beyond this initial 100.

And actually this 100 was announced quite some time ago, with the announced closing of their Aleppo embassy offices (they are consolidating everything in Damascus)

So people are using this to say Russia thinks Syria is losing, but there actually is no evidence of this.

Tens of thousands of people who flocked to the Mall to watch Monday's

Obama said.

Atelevision set up just north of the Washington Monument was

Many in the crowd – perhaps thinking there was another big screen on

and were forced to loop back into the north-end throng that was trying
its best to be upbeat despite the malfunctioning screen.

I was a young, dumb Democrat at the time (luckily I was too young to vote.) But when that fucking awesome inauguration came, with the hostages being freed, I began to become a Reaganite.

By the time I was old enough to vote, I was a full-fledged Repub, thanks to the Ronaldus Maximus.

156 >>>"Creeds are for chumps"

The best part. Holding such beliefs that a good written "word of God" does not exist requires someone to spend a lot of time in theological contemplation regarding metaphysics. Scratch the surface of one of these dweebs and you find someone using it as a shield to justify a rejection of common morality without the need for contemplation. Most folks who espouse said beliefs are no more ready to contemplate metaphysics than they are to perform brain surgery. So when they say "Creeds are for chumps" the natural response is they were written for people like you because it was known you'd be far to lazy and stupid to come up with well thought answers on the nature of morality all by yourself.

Protestantism originates from Martin Luther, not Henry VIII. Won't go into some other reasons Catholicism might not be attractive to Protestants, although I sure am relieved the late Pope John Paul II once conceded that perhaps not all Protestants go to Hell. Big of him.

Leahy is at the head table and Harry isn't because Leahy, as President Pro Tempore*, is in the line of succession and under the Senate's rules he's the guy charged with presiding over the Senate when the VP isn't around (which is most of the time). So he's equal to Boehner, not Harry.
