AFC Playoffs

Dayum, what a game in Atlanta.

Ok, Houston Texans at the Patriots.

Given Houston's recent performances I don't hold out much hope for them. But I do love their cheerleaders.

Actually, I like the Patriot cheerleaders too.

Sorry to go O/T, but There's Big Trouble in Little Brattleboro ...

http://tinyurl.com/cqyknmb (news.yahoo.com)

Short version: A Federal judge in Brattleboro VT extended the Vermont Yankee plant operation permit by 20 years, to 2032. The permit expires on March 21, 2013.

The State opposes, claiming jurisdiction, and is appealing.

Vermont Yankee supplies 1/3 of Vermont's power, the remaining energy (about 45% of total) goes to other states.

Will 1/3 of Vermont (Brattleboro obviously not included) go dark?

Stay tuned watch for a letter in the mail wait for a messenger on a horse ...

Yes. Yes you did. What's another unconstitutional law heaped on the pile of other unconstitutional laws.

All federal gun laws are
unconstitutional and any state law or regulation that effectively nulls
the 2nd amendment are unconstitutional as well.

Any state law or regulation that is arbitrary or capricious in
regards to exercising your 2nd amendment rights are unconstitutional.

Had a buddy who had one, same configuration, 3-speed on the column. He's put it in first gear, mash the throttle to the floor, then dump the clutch. Barely made a sound from the tires, but lurched forward obediently. We tried to kill that car, but couldn't.

407 Re: Citadel

Haven't read the comments, but it's been said before. Gun rights advocates, and those most interested in Constitutional Freedom, yes I capitalize that, tend to be very independent thinkers. Imagine living in a community that requires that it be very close-knit by its very nature.

I don't think this is the second nature of those who might potentially live there. They are not looking for a David Koresh, or a Jim Jones, as a savior. They are doing their best to cover their own ass, and that of their family, and don't want to answer to some egomaniac who would seek to preside over them.

They'll all end up shooting each other.
