| Liz Warren: "What Do You Mean 'We', Red Man?"Paleface-Indian speak with forked tongue. ![]() Despite repeated claims she is “proud” of her Cherokee heritage, newly minted U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is keeping that pride under wraps and won’t be taking advantage of a chance to officially list herself as the Bay State’s first Native American U.S. senator. Aides said Warren, who describes herself as part Cherokee and part Delaware Indian, won’t contact historians at the Senate Historical Office to tell them she’s Native American. The office lists minority senators in its official directory. The benefits of the lie are all used up, so what's the point, right? Besides, the only tribe she belongs to is The Left. Comments1
And the Left has no shame.

There's an actual Native American, or an African-American, or an Hispanic law professor out there who didn't get a job at Harvard because Warren had taken the "minority" slot. I would have walked away from the transaction or demanded a refund had I already paid and made sure the bitches manager knew why they were losing a customer. That reminds me of when I went to Fleet Farm to see if they had any 30 round PMAGs a couple of weeks ago (right at the start of the panic) and I found a peghook with about 20 windowed mags for $20 a piece. The price isn't great, but it isn't gouging either so I grabbed 4, two for me and two for a friend. At the checkout the pierced face cashier asked me, "Do you really need 4 of these?" in a smartassed tone. I replied, "You know, you're right. I need all of them that you have. I'll be right back." I wasn't going to clean them out, but after her remark, I did. Now, I'm glad I did. 20 gen 3 pmags in the plastic bag are going to be like gold someday! From the Amazon reviews of Pow Wow Chow: "I thoroughly enjoy the recipes here. My favorite one is called "Diversity Dish." This was contributed by the world's only confirmed blond-haired, blue-eyed Cherokee who used her tomahawk to dig this up from her Oklahoma archives. You start out with 10 quarts of sanctimony, add in a gallon of hypocrisy, throw in a few fables (I recommend the "Family Lore" brand available in Cambridge), add a pinch of whining (1/32 ounce will work), toss in a paleface poseur and a large measure of insufferability. I pity the fool that is stupid enough to use that word with me. First he would have to define it, which would inevitably need correction. Then a sermon on the history of "nationalism" and how it differs from "jingoism". Then a critique of his (her) poor understanding of the humanities and the arts (nothing will make a liberal turn red more than getting lectured on liberal arts by a conservative) and cap it all off with a discussion of how the liberal values of multi-culturalism and a single global society are contradictory because different cultures are simply incompatible, requiring nation states to remain separate to house them and give them all room; And that liberals should really pull their head out of their ass and choose one or the other. Then call him (her) an uneducated rube and watch where they go next. Usually into their academic pedigree, something easily reducible to "In your professor's minds if you aren't a PhD you are just a foot soldier for their political views, not someone to be given real knowledge, someone to be given enough knowledge to control." First he would have to define it, which would
inevitably need correction. Usually into their academic pedigree, something easily reducible to "In your professor's minds if you aren't a PhD you are just a foot soldier for their political views, not someone to be given real knowledge, someone to be given enough knowledge to control." Curlley didn't have a genuine appreciation for the city and its traditions and that's why Boston entered a depression which it took 60 years to start to recover from. Far-Left MoveOn.org Rallies Followers To Pressure Senate To Confirm Chuck Hagel…
Today we have a new opportunity to help put domestic job creation at the top of our national agenda. On Monday, President Obama nominated former Senator Chuck Hagel to be our next Secretary of Defense. If confirmed, Hagel will lead President Obama’s efforts to cut the Pentagon budget and end the war in Afghanistan. This will save hundreds of billions of dollars over the next ten years (in addition to saving many lives.) That’s money we can use at home to stop cuts to Social Security and Medicare benefits and for investments in our domestic economy. But right-wing pro-war groups are trying to block Chuck Hagel’s nomination in the Senate. We can’t allow that to happen. That would be a terrible defeat for President Obama’s second-term agenda. We need Chuck Hagel, a decorated Vietnam vetaran, to lead the President’s effort to end the war and cut the Pentagon budget. Just so ya know what we're up against and what the left wants Posted by: Nevergiveup at January 08, 2013 12:30 PM (9Bj8R) 134

With respect, Truman, it's not about making her life "any worse." It's about punching back twice as hard. I guarantee you this scrunt has spent her life spouting off at her perceived inferiors, who are either too polite to speak up, too intimidated to start a fight, or who are on her side. It's people like that who set the agenda of binders, birth control and war on women during the election and who now, with the reelection of their tin god, think they're part of the vanguard of history. People like that need to be reminded, forcefully, that there are a great many of us who are not part of the Ayers-educated, Obama-worshiping cargo cult that they belong to. And if punching back means getting her in trouble, or even losing her job - well, elections have consequences, sugar tits. All it takes is one easily manipulated and mentally unstable nutcase (or group of nutcases) to discredit legitimate resistance to federal overreach as 'fringe' and 'extremist' (and of course the usual'racist', 'paranoid', and 'xenophobic' pejoratives). They don't need to set a Reichstag fire. All they need to do is create the conditions, sit back, and wait for the spark. More specifically, how many dead feds would it take to reintroduce an evenmore restrictive and all-encompassing version of the assault weapons ban? Well court is a pretty public area. I would feel self-conscious about being ambushed to take care of such also.
A missing person declared dead case. Lots of paperwork proving no one has seen X in Y years. Affirm and sign stating such. Jump through the hoops. And after some legal mumbo-jumbo, pronounced dead. Something like that? Posted by: Anna Puma (+SmuD) at January 08, 2013 01:17 PM (AgRBF) 264

They don't even need to 'read' it in. They can just add it later to the Record. Which is a common occurrence, something about 'extending my remarks.'

'the 5.56 round' is 'devastatingly powerful' round? Really. When it takes 5 or 6 of them to drop a hadji? This dude I permanently move into the Weasley Clark/Colon Powell column.

They'veforgotten who and what they serve. It's sad, too. I remember a time when generals were considered patriots. Posted by: troyriser at January 08, 2013 01:43 PM (vtiE6) 276

But Zoning exists. And Zoning (as opposed to those
stupid HOAs which I loathe) provides more benefit (in general) than it causes harm. Posted by: AllenG (Dedicated Tenther) Channelling Breitbart at January 08, 2013 12:39 PM (5DR1j) Zoning causes ghettos. Once an area is zoned "low income housing" it is doomed. It is no accident that Houston, the largest city in the United States without zoning, is also the largest city without ghettos. Are there bad sections of town? Sure there are, but they are nothing like Harlem, Watts, or the Projects in Chicago. Posted by: An Observation at January 08, 2013 02:58 PM (ylhEn) 285

Don't go hating on all MA voters.
I have lived here all my adult life and have met maybe 5 conservatives in the flesh. Had it not been for us 5 you'd have Martha Coakley in the Senate. Don't ask. I've met a person actually reflexively sympathetic to Saddam Hussein to spite Bush. Don't worry. It will get better. Joe Kennedy III strolled by the Senate yesterday put his hand on Warren's seat, I mean her chair, and told her to keep it warm for him. I consider Ace "Radio Free Massachusetts". Sympathy, please!!! Besides, now she's in Congress, a Democrat from Massachusetts, she is above the law. Posted by: Patrick Carroll at January 09, 2013 06:10 PM (ecG02) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0437 seconds. |
