>>>Why is Luck favored over RGIII for rookie of the year?
Who's saying this? I haven't heard anyone arguing Luck over RGIII for ROY. The debate always comes down to RGIII vs. Wilson. It's not a no-doubt question, as each guy has demerits (RGIII = injury issues; Wilson = looked pretty mediocre the first half of the seasons until suddenly putting it together), but the balance of critical opinion seems to slightly favor RGIII. I'll tell you though, the stealth Rookie of the Year candidate (a guy who ought to finish top 5, although he doesn't deserve to win, necessary) is that OTHER Redskins rookie, Alfred Morris. God I love that kid. Not only is he a demonically good rusher, he's also just the nicest, most lovable young guy in pro football right now. For those who aren't Skins fans (or big NFL junkies), RGIII is limping because he's still dealing with the aftereffects of what SHOULD HAVE been a horrifying season-ending, knee-shredding injury sustained five weeks ago at the end of the Skins-Ravens game (which the Skins came back to win at the last second via a TD/2-pt conversion plus a FG in OT). Another human being would have been focusing on rehabbing for next year....RGIII just took a week off. It scares me to see him limping around right now, but he's getting the job done, and we also have Kirk Cousins to back him up, who ain't no slouch.

The silliness of the Seahawk's neon green-ness of shoes and that stupid ladder thing up the sides of their pants is attributable to Phil Knight and Nike. Not content with putting the Oregon Ducks in a different helmet/uni combo in every game this year, ole Phil reached out to the closest NFL team in his neck of the woods. Seattle just thought that was nifty.
I think every collegiate/ pro team that wants to get jiggy with their outfits need to model for their respective cheerleaders. I swear to you, a ton of the stupid would be prevented. Posted by: dwagyak at January 06, 2013 06:38 PM (FesH5) 317

Hey, take it easy on the Seahawks. If you took out Washington's two congressional districts nearest downtown Seattle, the state would go Republican. Those effete progressives insides the city limits don't pay much attention to football anyway, until it's time to get on the bandwagon.

The ETag (entity tag) value is part of the HTTP protocol and is used for caching. It represents the version of a particular resource. On the first request, the browser stores the ETag value it received. On a subsequent request, the browser will send an If-None-Match header with the old ETag value, to avoid downloading the page again if the ETag value is the same.
All you have to do is use a unique identifier for the entity tag and the browser will later return it, just like a cookie. This isn't new. It's one of the methods evercookie (http://samy.pl/evercookie/) uses. There are a few Firefox add-ons that you can use to prevent this. One that I use is "Modify Headers", which can be set to filter the If-Match, If-None-Match, If-Modified-Since, If-Unmodified-Since, etc. headers. (Yes, the last modification date can also be used for tracking.)
