There is a pragmatism to conservatism, that does not exist in liberalism.
So...in the context of 'what works vs what doesn't work', no, we're not wrong.

Conservatives sometimes do things...with good intentions...that open the door for Liberals to proceed on with their agenda.

Take Henry L. Warner, for example.
He and his brother Sam, were pioneers of the 'Talkies'....movies with sound.

Henry Warner was very conservative, and used movies to educate people about what he considered were 'social wrongs'....saying that talking movies were the most effective tool to convey a message.

He tried to make movies about the Nazi concentration camps, back in 1933...before most people had even heard about them.
But our government stopped him.

And now, since Liberals are in control of Hollywood...look where Warner's precedent of using movies to 'convey a message' has led.

231 In Canada, we have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Kind of like the Bill of Rights. Except there is something called the 'Notwithstanding Clause'. That government can take away all of the rights and freedoms listed under the Charter. Things like freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Okay, I'll bite. In case you haven't noticed, this ain't the same USA at it was even 10 years ago in terms of freedom and less government intrusion.
