21 Can we get a thread on how we should fight back?

How much political power does a third of the US have if they band together for their survival?

Ghettos organized and got obamaphones.

Why don't we organize? We design the obamaphones so I bet our results could turn out better.

The media and education systems must be taken on in a coordinated fashion.

Reposting my challenge to Jordan from the Top Headline Comments thread:

Hi Jordan,
I've got an easy request for you. Take a picture of your Kimber .45 and your Lee Enfield 303. Put a little piece of paper that says "Ace of Spades, Jordan, 1/4/2013" next to the guns in the picture. Since you have "all of them" I'm sure this will be easy. You can upload the picture to ___ ur or twitpic or something.

If you really want to be impressive, you can add a picture of your Harvard student id with the identifying info cropped out. Same deal with the piece of paper next to it.

66 Rex Ryan has a tattoo.

That's one of the stupidest stories ever. Personally I think it's real, b/c who goes to all the trouble to have a temporary tattoo made that is specifically of your wife wearing your quarterback's jersey?I can think of a dozen better things one could do withone's money than ordering something like that. I know that Rex Ryan doesn't have the brains God gave a mealworm, but still.

That said, I think the stupidest part of the whole thing is that someone would get a tattoo depicting anything to do with their team of the moment. The NFL is a pretty fickle league. I was convinced Rexy was going to end up somewhere else next year, and how silly would that have been? Now you're sporting a tattoo of your FORMER team -- the one that tossed you out on your ear for being a slackjawed blowhard -- that you have to see in the mirror every morning as you get dressed. That's gotta feel good, huh?

Unfortunately Rexy DIDN'T get fired. Either he has some dirt on the Jets' management that saved his job, or they really are that stupid.

I think the problem is coordination. You'd have to have an immediate, coordinated governing structure in place that can get to work establishing lines of communication from the very first day. Red states have a ton of resources, and just by the nature of being red states they'd be depriving the blue states of those things. But it doesn't help the red states themselves much if people in Alabama need Texas oil and have no way of making that happen because the blue states are jamming all the cell towers, satellites and internet feeds.

Is this the part where I point out that most of Texas's infrastructure (and our entire power grid) is self-contained? Also- it's really hard to shut down the Internet, as China has discovered.

But the fact is there are ways available to coordinate already, and the US Government really can't do much about them. CB and HAM radios, for instance. Even relatively basic cryptography would let those work long enough for the TF to get other communications on-line.

On the federal level, it's rebuilding time for the 2014 election cycle.

The action right now is in the state capitals. Take Illinois (please), for instance. Thousands of angry gun owners protested and called their state senators this week in opposition to the Senate gun-grab bill. The bill was tabled for the session. More conservative governors and legislators on the state level will pay off in the federal 2014 midterms and the 2016 generals.

It's a reference to the original Red Dawn- Radio Free America would send coded messages, one was "The chair is against the wall." This, itself, was a reference to radio stations in England sending similar coded messages into France in WWII.

The point is that encoding messages has existed since there has been the possibility of messages being intercepted. It doesn't matter if you're broadcasting in the clear (an unsecured channel) if you're using code (and thus securing the message).

A decent cypher could hold you over long enough (probably) set up secure-channel communications, at which point you can drop that cypher.

So what steers them? The answer is pressure and influence.

Pressure by constituents and media. Influence by lobbyists.

What we have a disconnect between Us and the Republicans. Someone is pressuring them to 'work with' Democrats and it isn't us (the people who actually vote for them).

The Silent Majority is so silent that it has become easy for the Noisy Minority to pretend to be 'lifelong Republicans' and tell Republicans what to do.

264 Perhaps their independence. But they were standing shoulder to shoulder with us against the Axis during WWII. And the Axis was a definite threat to freedom.

That they did. Since then they have been lax at paying their fair share (Hey, I sound like Obama) when it comes to defending the continent. I would like to see there Cold War spending per capita vs ours.

265 "Across the pond"

Heh, this reminds me of something. My mother saw a British movie many years ago that was set during the French and Indian War -- it might have even been a British take on a Fenimoore Cooper novel -- and it was supposed to take place on the shores of Lake George. Now if you've ever seen Lake George you know it's a pretty damn big lake. They don't have a lot of similarly sized lakes in Britain -- or at least not ones that were conducive to filming -- so the shots that were supposed to take place at the lake were filmed next to what amounts to a glorified pond. The average Brit at the time wouldn't know how ridiculous that looked, but anyone with even a passing familiarity with the region -- like my mother -- thought it was hilarious.

278 The question wasn't "name a country that has never fought." The question was "name a free country that didn't have to fight for that freedom." Canada fits.

Canada never had to fight a war to gain its independence or freedom.

298 233 What we have a disconnect between Us and the Republicans.
-
Right.

233 Someone is pressuring them to 'work with' Democrats and it isn't us (the people who actually vote for them).
-
Right.

That someone would be the same people (collectively) that told George H.W. Bush that breaking his promise on taxes was the right thing to do, and nobody, especially the liberal mass media, would ever use it against him politically if he did. He heeded them, and not the people who were saying "no, no, remember your promise!"

233 The Silent Majority is so silent that it has become easy for the Noisy Minority to pretend to be 'lifelong Republicans' and tell Republicans what to do.
-
Regular white people (which is 90% of the people that vote Republican) fall silent when they lack an effective voice (which in the television era was true, and there is still some truth in it), when they are castigated as "racist!" whenever they speak up for their own interests, and when the people they are speaking to, their Republican representatives, consistently ignore them anyway, preferring to heed the liberal mass media, big money, and people that the liberal mass media doesn't smear as a mass of Archie Bunkers unworthy of a hearing or consideration.

Solutions:
* Repeal the Hollywood tax cuts, and generally treat the liberal mass media as an enemy to be opposed, not as an oracle to be obeyed. (Heed Instapundit.)
* Struggle for culture, which is Breitbart's idea, and lately Ace's idea. (Don't be political all the time.)
* Call out the anti-whites as anti-white. Stop the stupid "liberals are the real racists" game; that never works.
* Validate ordinary whites and their right to continue to survive, collectively. That is key, because whites set the ceiling for conservative political support. You cannot let them be swamped and washed away by mass immigration and forced integration, and then imagine that a majority brown country is going to vote for conservative policies. That's not going to happen. Hispanics are natural Democrats and will remain so, which is why liberals are eagerly importing millions of them.
* Don't sell out social conservatives and their issues. For example, stop the "wink and a nudge" judicial appointments game that produces judges like David Souter, and openly say you are trying to appoint conservative judges to oppose the monolithically liberal judges.
* Oppose blatantly anti-white policies like affirmative action, disparate impact law, quotas, set-asides and so on - the stuff that's all about robbing Peter to pay Paul, with Peter being white and Paul being "minority".
* Do everything possible to forge a coalition between Southern, Western and Northern, heavily unionized whites. Don't demand that they sacrifice their jobs and perks; they won't.

That's not perfect, but it's as good as it gets.

299 Post 298 is nonsense. David Souter was a great judge and a great American, and I intend to earn the same sterling reputation.
